Abstract

National education has a strong determination to build a smart and democratic Indonesian man. Intelligence is meant not merely intellectual intelligence but also emotional intelligence, ethics, and aesthetics. Creating a man with a balanced intelligence between intellectual, moral, ethics and aesthetics is required to integrate character-based education with artistic culture. Cultural arts in character education can take the form of a constructive foundation that is able to bring the learning process towards the goal, understanding, and respecting the art of culture loaded with the values ??of human life, in order to develop the character / personality of noble and ethical learners. Character education based on the art of culture can be integrated in every level of education. Material subjects related to norms or values ??need to be developed, excerpted, and integrated with the context of cultural art that becomes the identity of a society. One of the manifestations of cultural art that can be used as a medium of cultivation of student character is traditional literature. Character education based on traditional literary art really contains a lot of exemplary and wisdom of life. Traditional literature can be used as habituation media about good things so learners are cognitive about what is right and wrong, able to feel (affective) good values ??and usually do it (psychomotor).

Abstract

The discourse of the themes “Payuk Prungpung” (abbreviated into PP) and“Rareangon” (abbreviated into RA) of the dance drama of Arja RRI (RRI stands for theRadio of the Republic of Indonesia) of Denpasar performed at Bali Arts Festival(abbreviated into PKB) was chosen as the object of the study for the following threereasons: (1) it is interesting; (2) nobody has investigated it; and (3) it is unique. In thisstudy the history of the development and existence of the dance drama of Arja RRI aswell as its forms, functions and meanings were analyzed. This study aimed at (1)justifying empirically the dynamism of the dance drama of Arja RRI Depasar; (2)objectively explaining its ontology; (3) formulating the form of the discourse of thethemes of PP and RA performed at PKB; (4) explaining the axiological and conceptualfunctions of the themes of PP and RA performed at PKB; (5) revealing the values of thediscourse of the themes of PP and RA performed at PKB.The structural theory combined with the semiotic theory was referred to as thetheoretical framework in this study. In addition, the theories of narrative discourse,literary reception, and esthetics were also referred to. The data needed were collected by(1) observation; (2) interview; (3) documentation and library research. The method andtechnique of analysis applied included (1) transcription; (2) translation; (3) data analysis.The methods of (1) descriptive analytic and (2) hermeneutic were used to analyze thedata. The research findings were (1) formally and (2) informally presented.In general, the form of the discourse of the themes of PP and RA is made up of(1) intrinsic elements; (2) discourse of songs; and (3) discourse of non songs. Thefunctions include (1) educational function; (2) amusement function; (3) informativefunction. The meanings revealed include (1) religious meaning; (2) magic meaning; (3)ruabhineda (positive and negative) meaning; (4) trihita karana (the relationship betweenman and his God, the relationship between man and his environment and the relationshipbetween man and his fellow beings) meaning.

Abstract

Dramatari Arja is one form of classical dramatari is still favored by the Balinese. One element of the discourse package charm is unique and diverse. The diversity of discourse which appears in the show plays Payuk Prungprung Arja RRI Denpasar received a positive reception from the people of Balinese. With the diversity of semiotics theory of discourse that will be revealed the meanings contained therein. In general meaning which can be expressed in this research includes religious meaning, the meaning of magic, the meaning of ruabhineda, the meaning of trihita karana, and the meaning ethics.

Abstract

The ability of SMAN 1 Selemadeg and SMAN 1 Kerambitan, Tabanan Regency, Bali Province teachers, in writing Classrom Action Research (CAR) reports and articles is very low. This problem has an impact on the delay of the promotion of teachers for many years, because one of the requirements is not fulfilled in the element of scientific papers. Community service aims to improve the ability of teachers in writing CAR and articles. To achieve these objectives, the Simpang Tegar method is implemented. Data on teacher understanding of the basic concepts of CAR and articles were collected using the test method. While the data on the skills of teachers writing CAR and articles are collected using observation and check-list of tasks given during mentoring. The results obtained are as follows: (1) teacher's understanding of the basic concepts of CAR and scientific articles increased from an average of 57.34 during the pre-test to 73.93 during the post-test; (2) teacher's skills of writing CAR reports and articles increased from an average of 45.41 before mentoring, to 68.58 after mentoring

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video komik pada pembelajaran rotasi dan revolusi bumi kelas VI sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan tahapan-tahapan yaitu: (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, dan (5) evaluasi. Namun, karena keterbatasan waktu, finansial, tenaga, dan sumber daya maka pengembangan media video komik pada penelitian ini hanya dilaksanakan sampai tahap analisis, desain, dan pengembangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah media video komik pada materi rotasi dan revolusi bumi. Sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah validitas dan kepraktisan media video komik pada materi rotasi dan revolusi bumi yang dikembangkan. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode kuesioner dengan penyebaran instrumen rating scale. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus mean untuk mengetahui persentase skor validitas dan kepraktisan media yang dikembangkan. Hasil analisis data validitas produk menunjukkan bahwa persentase skor validitas media video komik oleh ahli materi sebesar 96% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Persentase skor validitas media video komik oleh ahli media sebesar 95% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil analisis data uji kepraktisan produk oleh praktisi guru dan siswa menunjukkan bahwa persentase skor kepraktisan media video komik oleh guru sebesar 98% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Persentase skor kepraktisan video komik oleh siswa sebesar 96% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media video komik pada materi rotasi dan revolusi bumi layak dan praktis digunakan untuk pembelajaran rotasi dan revolusi bumi di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Hedonistic One of a person's life's objectives is to pursue pleasure only, which is a problem that many young people face. people confront. This arose as a result of the current expansion of social media in industrialisation and globalization. The Instagram app, which can be used to communicate numerous occasions through photographs and videos, is one method to use social media. The goal of This study seeks to quantify the influence of Instagram on the hedonistic lifestyle. In this study, a sample of 70 respondents was employed, and a questionnaire was used in the information gathering process. The equation Y= 7. 855+ 0. 732X is the outcome of linear regression analysis, and the correlation coefficient (r) between the variables X and Y produced a correlation coefficient value of 0. 74. This value indicates that there is a significant and favorable correlation between the two variables. 54. 76% of the Hedonism Lifestyle is affected by Instagram, with the remaining 25. 99% influenced by other factors not examined in this study
