Abstract

This research entitled “The Characteristic and Meaning of Nazam Compositions by Aceh Moslem Scholars in Bireuen Regency. The number of data in this research were eleven data which consisted of five details data from participant’s record and six data which were obtained from manuscript text or Nazam documentation of Moslem Scholars and respondent. Data gathering was done by using the techniques of observation, interview, record, note, and documentation. The data were analyzed through steps of transcribed the data, classified or sorted the data, identified the data characteristic, and described the meaning of data. The findings of this research revealed that the characteristics of Nazam which were composed by Aceh Moslem Scholars in Bireuen Regency arranged of (1) stanza, (2) rhyme, (3) religious themes, (4) syllables variation number, (5) used Arabic vocabularies, (6) began with praises to Allah and greetings to the Prophet. Furthermore, the meanings of Nazam Composition by Aceh Moslem Scholars in Bireuen Regency consisted of (1) denotative meaning, (2) connotative meaning, (3) lexical meaning, (4) stylistic meaning, (5) interpretation meaning

Abstract

Persuasive language style is a style of language that is used with the aim of influencing the interlocutor. This style of language can be found in the speech of Acehnese celebrities when they endorse a product. This style of language is used to conjure up Instagram users or so-called followers to be interested in the goods and services offered by the celebgram. Even though they only rely on language style, in fact the celebrities are able to increase the turnover of online business people who use their services. This is because the language style used is unique, interesting, and creative. In addition, the language style is also combined with persuasive techniques owned by each celebrity. For this reason, this study aims to describe the style of persuasive language and persuasive techniques used by Acehnese celebrities as a strategy in endorsement. The data source of this research is the celebgram speech taken from the Aceh celebrity instagram story which consists of four accounts, namely 1) @cutbul-real, 2) @herlinkenza, 3) @devi.dean , 4) @kakaalfarisi, and 5) @khalidamakmoer . The five accounts were chosen because of the large number of followers and the five celebgrams are the most phenomenal celebs today. The data in this study are in the form of verbal and verbal data, namely the construction of sentences in the celebgram speech that shows a persuasive language style. The data collection was carried out in several stages, namely recording the speech of the Acehnese celebrity, recording the speech in the form of persuasive language, classifying the data, analyzing the data, and drawing conclusions. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out with steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the style of language used is in the form of affirmation, comparison, and satire. Abstract

This research is entitled "Parables in the Alas Language of the People of Southeast Aceh". The problem in this research is what are the forms and meanings of parables in the Alas language in the people of Southeast Aceh. The purpose of this study is to describe the types and meanings of parables in the Alas language in the people of Southeast Aceh. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive method. The data in this study amounted to fifty data with details of seventeen metaphorical parables and thirty-three personification parables. The data sources of this research were obtained from native speakers of the Alas language. Data collection was carried out by steps (1) transcribing the data, (2) translating the data, (3) compiling the data, (4) analyzing the data, and (4) concluding the data. The results of this study indicate that the parables in the Alas language in the people of Southeast Aceh have metaphorical parables and personification parables. The parable describes the human character. The use of this parable is to soften the intent of the conveyer of the expression so that those who hear or receive the expression do not feel flattered if the parable is in the form of praise.

Abstract

This paper aimed to reveal the readiness of Junior High Schools in Banda Aceh and Jombang to implement e-learning based on the teacher's perspective through six factors of e-learning readiness, including student readiness factors, teacher readiness, infrastructure readiness, school culture readiness, and face-to-face learning tendencies. Data was collected through an online questionnaire, involving 69 students from various junior high schools. The findings of this study showed that the readiness for implementing e-learning in Junior High Schools in Banda Aceh and Jombang was at a score of 3.5 and was in the ready category but still needed improvement. Six factors were the basis for determining the readiness to implement e-learning, four of which were in the ready category but required a slight improvement of student readiness factor, teacher readiness factor, school culture readiness, and management readiness. While, the other two factors were in the unready category including the infrastructure readiness factor and readiness for face-to-face learning tendencies.
