Abstract

ABSTRACT: RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SYSTOLIC BLOOD PRESSURE AND HDL CHOLESTEROL LEVELS IN TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS IN ARAFAH CLINIC, CENTRAL LAMPUNG Background: Hypertension is a major risk factor for type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, hypertension can make cells insensitive to insulin, so blood sugar levels can also be disrupted. Dyslipidemia causes constriction in blood vessels or atherosclerosis which can aggravate hypertension or diabetes mellitus. Meanwhile, the function of HDL in transporting bad cholesterol also causes blood vessels to dilate due to increased NO production. Objective: To find out the relationship between systolic blood pressure and HDL cholesterol levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at the Arafah Clinic, Central Lampung, 2020. Method: This type of research used in this research is descriptive-analytic with cross-sectional design. The sampling technique was total sampling. Respondents in this study were patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at the Arafah Clinic in Central Lampung in 2020 Results: Based on the results of the chi-square statistical test, it was found that there was no relationship with the results of p = 0.898 (p> 0.05). Conclusion: There is no correlation between systolic blood pressure and HDL cholesterol levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at the Arafah Clinic, Central Lampung in 2020. Abstract

ABSTRACT: CORRELATION OF SYSTOLIC BLOOD PRESSURE WITH TRIGLYCERIDE LEVELS IN TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS IN ARAFAH CLINIC, CENTRAL LAMPUNGBackground: Hypertension is the main risk factor for DM. Hypertension can make cells insensitive to insulin. Even though insulin plays a role in increasing glucose uptake in many cells and in this way also regulates carbohydrate metabolism, so that if insulin resistance occurs by cells, the blood sugar levels can also be disrupted. Dyslipidemia is a change in blood lipid profile, one of which is an increase in triglyceride levels. High triglyceride levels can cause thickening of the blood vessels and cause narrowing of the arteries. Objective: To determine the relationship between systolic blood pressure and triglyceride levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Klniki Arafah Tengah Lampung.Methodology: This research uses a descriptive-analytic research method with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique is Total Sampling. . Respondents in this study were patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at the Arafah Clinic in Central Lampung in 2020.Results: It is known that in the sex frequency distribution, there were 16 men with 34.8% and 30 women with 65.2%. Distribution of frequency based on age, it was found that the age group 24-45 years numbered 7 patients (15.2%), the age group 46-65 years amounted to 32 patients (69.6%), and the group> 65 years amounted to 7 patients (15.2 %). It is known that the frequency distribution of systolic blood pressure in type II diabetes mellitus patients, it was found that type II diabetes mellitus patients with normal systolic blood pressure levels were 34 patients with 73.9%, while high systolic blood pressure levels were 12 patients with 26.1%. It is known that the frequency distribution of triglyceride levels in patients with type II diabetes mellitus, it was found that 8 patients with normal triglycerides had normal triglyceride levels, and 38 patients (82.6%) had high triglyceride levels. The results of the chi-square statistical test found no relationship with the results of p = 898 (p> 0.05).Conclusion: There is no correlation between systolic blood pressure and cholesterol triglycerides in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at the Arafah Clinic, Central Lampung in 2020.                 Keywords: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Systolic Blood Pressure Triglierida INTISARI: HUBUNGAN TEKANAN DARAH SISTOLIK DENGAN KADAR TRIGLISERIDA PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI KLINIK ARAFAH LAMPUNG TENGAHLatar Belakang: Hipertensi merupakan faktor risiko untama untuk terjadinya DM. Abstract

Novel Coronavirus 2019 or as known as COVID-19 is a new disease that caused of Severe Acute Respiarory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) which found in Wuhan, China at the end of the year, 2019. Beside of the clinical characteristics based on mild until severed of the illness such as fever, cough, loss of smelling until decrease of lungs perfussion, another of physical examination is required such as Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) which can be a gold standard for COVID-19 examination and Chest X-ray examination. The purpose of this research is to determine the correlation between of chest x-ray imaging with clinical characteristic of COVID-19 patients in COVID-19 referral hospital of Bandar lampung on periode March 2020 – September 2020. The type of this research is descriptive analytics with cross sectional method. The technical of collecting the sample is purposive sampling. The analytical data that used is univariate to show the distribution of frequency of the patients and bivariate (used Sprearman) to show the correlate and the strength of the research in COVID-19 patients in COVID-19 referral hospital Bandar lampung on periode March 2020 – September 2020. The result showed the significant correlation between clinical characteristic of COVID-19 patients with chest x-ray imaging with the p-Value 0.00 (p < 0.01) and the correlation strength is 0.948 which mean there was a strongest correlation between of both variables and the score is shown the positive way that mean both of the variables is one way which affect each other. From the result of the research we can conclude that more severed the clinical characteristic from COVID-19 patients, so more worse of chest x-ray imaging can be found.
