Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of meditation practice and internal imagery on the concentration and shooting accuracy of the 10-meter category in the Perbakin Bantul branch. The research method was experimental with a two-group pretest-posttests design. The population investigated 16 athletes using the purposive sampling technique so that the sample became 12 athletes. The research instrument used the Grid Concentration Exercise to measure concentration and measurement of firing accuracy using ISSF standard target targets. The data analysis technique used was paired t-test and independent t-test. The results showed an effect of training between autogenic meditation and internal images on concentration and shooting accuracy. When viewed from the percentage increase, the meditation practice method showed better results than internal imagery, while internal imagery training showed better results in increasing concentration.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of squat training on long jump abilities. The research method used was one group pre-test and post-test. This study consisted of 20 students of class XI Computer Network Engineering who were taken randomly. Research results in peer squat exercise, which affects students' long jump abilities, have been studied before. Still, the difference with this study is that the method used is peer squat exercise, which is done in pairs to provide a new atmosphere and make students not feel bored. This study concludes that peer squat exercise, which is done in pairs, positively affects the long jump ability in athletic sports.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of the body mass index of athletes running in Gorontalo. The research method used is ex-post facto descriptive with a research sample of 18 athletes, consisting of 15 male athletes and three female athletes. This study uses the Body Mass Index instrument by measuring the athlete's height and weight. Data analysis using Benchmark Reference Assessment (PAP), then the data is processed using ms. Excel. This study revealed that all athletes in Gorontalo City with 100% male and female athletes have an average Body Mass Index. This study illustrates that the trainer maximized the exercise pattern and the nutritional practice to keep the Body Mass Index regular. However, coaches must continue to monitor their athletes to always have an average Body Mass Index, especially during Ramadan.
