Abstract

Pada tahun 2014 KLHK dan BPPT telah melakukan pengkajian dan penerapan teknologi online monitoring kualitas air sungai (Onlimo) di sungai Ciliwung. Peran sistem Onlimo ini adalah untuk mempermudah upaya pengendalian pencemaran sungai. Tahun 2015 dan 2016 KLHK dan BPPT telah melakukan pemasangan sistem Onlimo di 10 lokasi pada 4 DAS prioritas. Dalam sistem Onlimo tersebut terdapat dua metode pemasangan sensor yaitu: pencelupan secara langsung ke dalam sungai dan pengukuran di luar sungai. Pada sistem pengukuran di luar sungai, sampel air sungai dipompa dari sungai menuju tangki yang telah tersedia sensor di dalamnya. Sistem pemompaan sampel air sungai diaplikasikan saat kondisi sungai tidak memungkinkan untuk dilakukanya pencelupan sensor secara langsung. Saat ini sistem pemompaan masih diaplikasikan pada daerah yang memiliki suplai listrik PLN karena konsumsi listrik yang cukup besar untuk menjalankanya. Dengan rencana KLHK yang menargetkan penerapan sistem online monitoring kualitas air di 15 DAS prioritas, maka penting untuk dipersiapkan perancangan sistem pengambilan sampel dengan energi alternatif agar dapat ditempatkan di lokasi manapun tanpa tergantung listrik dari PLN. Pada perancangan ini telah dihasilkan rancangan sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) yang dapat menyuplai kebutuhan listrik sebuah sistem pemompaan air sampel untuk sistem online monitoring kualitas air selama 24 jam. Kata Kunci : online monitoring, kualitas air, sensor, pembangkit listrik, tenaga surya

Abstract

Drinking water supply for public is big deals for the improvement of environmental and society health. An effort from the government to provide the drinking water supply is to provide a society based of drinking water treatment plant. Some obstacles that have come for the plant in remote areas are the difficulties of getting chemical material for the plant and the lack of energy supply. Drinking water treatment that use chemical materials has a big cost to provide the chemicals. Beside the high cost of treatment, the using of chemicals will harmful the drinking water, because it usually generates such carcinogenic materials. The biofiltration-ultrafiltration treatment is one of the best solutions to replace treatment plant that using chemicals. It has a low cost operation and is more safe than the water treatment that using chemicals. Generator-set (genset), a power generator that easy to get and operate, has uneconomical operation cost. By now, there were many studies proved that in remote areas, the using of Solar Power Plant is more economic than a genset. For those reasons, in this article is designed a solar powered 50 m3/Day drinking water treatment (biofiltration-ultrafiltration process). The result from the design is the solar power plant that can supply the treatment plant for 8 hours. Keywords: drinking water, solar power, genset, biofiltration, ultrafiltration.

Abstract

The study of assessment and implementation of Online Water Quality Monitoring System that has been done by Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology, results a recommendation to develop a water sample system  for a certain river conditions. The function of the water sample system is to pump the water from the river to a sensor tank, so that the sensor does not have to be immersed directly into the river. The purpose of this sampling system is to reduce the risks that be  faced by the sensor if it is immersed directly into the river. In this research, the water sample system made as a water pumping system.The water pumping system was made from materials that already existed in Indonesian market. The main components of this water pumping system are: centrifugal pump, sensor tank, water tank for the pump, and solenoid valve. The control system for the water pumping system is made from a conventional control consisting of relays and timers and is triggering by the output contact of the data logger. The water pumping systems that have been made in this research is running properly and they have  a high reliability. Cleaning a strainers is the only maintenance that is needed for this systems and the frequencies of the maintenance are depend on the water river condition . Keywords: pumping system, conventional control, pump, samples, sampel pumping period

Abstract

Ciliwung River  is one of the rivers that pass through the administrative area of Jakarta. Ciliwung river has been categorized as a heavy polluted river. The water quality monitoring needs to be installed to control river pollution. The Water quality monitoring should be performed at any time continuously. For that reason, The trial water quality monitoring that placed in the area of Ciliwung part Istiqlal Mosque has been installed. The installed system that based on GSM network is an online and realtime water quality monitoring. In this paper discusses the process of installation, monitoring results, modification of protective structure and the problems were encountered. From this activity bring out some conclusions about: shape of suitable protective building, sensor calibration period, the obstacles encountered, system reliability, and efforts to improve system performance. Keywords: Protective building,  calibration period, monitoring result, water quality, realtime.

Abstract

Sistem pemompaan sampel air sungai diaplikasikan saat kondisi sungai tidak memungkinkan untuk dilakukanya pencelupan sensor secara langsung. Saat ini sistem pemompaan masih diaplikasikan pada daerah yang memiliki suplai listrik PLN karena konsumsi listrik yang cukup besar untuk menjalankanya. Dengan rencana KLHK yang menargetkan penerapan sistem online monitoring kualitas air di 15 DAS prioritas, maka penting untuk dipersiapkan perancangan sistem pengambilan sampel dengan energi alternatif agar dapat ditempatkan di lokasi manapun tanpa tergantung listrik dari PLN. Pada perancangan ini telah dihasilkan rancangan sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) yang dapat menyuplai kebutuhan listrik sebuah sistem pemompaan air sampel untuk sistem online monitoring kualitas air selama 24 jam. Kata Kunci : online monitoring, kualitas air, sensor, pembangkit listrik, tenaga surya
