Abstract

Tulisan ini mengangkat fenomena permukiman yang individualis di kawasan urban. Berangkat dari konsep-konsep pengembangan dalam pembangunan kawasan permukiman dengan tema-tema yang menarik bagi konsumen yang umumnya berasal dari golongan ekonomi menegah ke atas. Namun konsep yang ditawarkan cenderung memisahkan diri dengan lingkungan permukiman disekitarnya dengan alasan keamanan dan kenyaman. Tulisan ini juga menawarkan konsep perancangan permukiman yang mengakomodasi interaksi sosial  beserta contoh-contoh aplikasinya

Abstract

This article discusses the utilizing of street as public space. Starting from the conflict on the street usage and progressively lack of space for public activities due to the motor vehicle domination and also activity on street as public space in rural settlement environment. A normative approach through literature study was conducted to obtain normative control criteria about utilizing street as public space. And also descriptive methodology with existed data collecting technique through field observation and interview had been adopted. Obtained data were in the form of physical and non physical data of study area which were then become reference for further analysis. Result of this study was recommendation in the form of general criteria and guideline that give explanation and instruction of street operation control in the urban settlement environment in Perumnas Sadang Serang.

Abstract

Normalisasi adalah salah satu cara yang  dapat dilakukan untuk  mengatasi kerusakan yang ada di Sungai Lariang.  Penelitian ini dimulai dengan melakukan survey untuk menentukan lokasi yang akan di normalisasi dengan melihat tingkat kerusakannya. Besarnya debit banjir rancangan dihitung dengan Metode Haspers.  Nilai tersebut akan menjadi dasar perencanaan pekerjaan Normalisasi Sungai Lariang. Dari lima lokasi yang di tentukan, dua lokasi di normalisasi dengan pembuatan tanggul, lokasi ketiga dengan pembuatan krib, sedangkan lokasi yang keempat dan ke lima dengan metoda renaturalisasi yaitu penanaman kembali tebing dengan tanaman yang tahan erosi. Kata Kunci : tanggul, krib, normalisasi, naturalisasi

Abstract

This article represents literature study about a town design model on Florida's northwest coats. The idea of Seaside is started with the notion of reviving Northwest Florida's building tradition and involvement of Andreas Duany designer urban and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk with new urbanismn concepts and also seaside development of Robert Davis in Seaside area. Writer also tries to study excess from sideside design and aspect that is left behind in this design model

Abstract

This paper is to describe the effect of transportation problem on public space and sample cause in Bandung West Jawa. Proceded by introduction to transportation, problem and conflict which is caused by urban design, sample cause in Bandung and some conceps which is discussed transportation system by side of urban design. The discussion use literature review methods and to compare with field condition by existing regulation.
