Abstract

Manning roughness coefficient (n) is one of the parameters affecting the drainage conditions, such as speed and water level. These coefficients, in its natural state vary based on the size, shape and type of material. This study aims to look at the influence of changes in flow conditions due to the use of the Manning coefficient varied by using numerical models RMA2. This module is one of the open channel flow modeling module contained in software Surfacewater Modeling System8.1. Performed numerical models in SMS8.1, the bathymetry of the river and bay as the input geometry, the average discharge as upstream inputs and yearly tidal average as well as simulating the input down stream flow with variation value of n. Based on the simulation results of SMS8.1, changes in water level gradually decrease from the basin to the estuary and ocean regions. Variation of the value of n to the water level did not change significantly due to any increase in the value of n 0.0050.00002 to 0.00006 m water level in the estuary. Flow velocity in the river is relatively large and gradually tapers to the estuaries and the sea. Variation of the value of n tends to flow velocity did not change significantly due to any increase inflow velocity of 0.005 n value changed from 0.0002 to 0.0008m /s at the estuary.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kegiatan manusia dalam rumah tangga mengakibatkan bertambahnya jumlah limbah cair. Sumber limbah cair rumah tangga bersifat organik yaitu dari sisa sisa makanan dan deterjen yang mengandung fosfor. Limbah cair dapat meningkatkan kadar BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) dan pH air . Keadaann tersebut menyebabkan terjadinya pencemaran yang banyak menimbulkan kerugian bagi manusia dan lingkungan.  Kolam oksidasi merupakan salah satu cara yang bisa digunakan untuk  dapat mengolah limbah cair rumah tangga. Kolam  ini  terdiri  dari  serangkaian kolam  yang  bertujuan  untuk  menjernihkan limbah cair sehingga tidak berbahaya bagi lingkungan. Keunggulan teknologi ini dalam pengolahan limbah cair, yaitu konstruksi sederhana, mudah dirancang dan diubah jika diperlukan perubahan tanah

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the availability of water and determine farming patterns planning for aggriculture. Research process begin from collecting data then conducting hidrology analysis to know if  the water is sufficient to meet the water needs in fungsional field and planning the suitable farming patterns. To determine the ratio between the need and the availability of water, in this case for aggriculture sector, the analysis of hydrology and the calculation of water requirement on the paddy field were done. There are some methods which can be used: Penman’s Method modification, used to calculating the value of the evapotranspiration by considering the related meteorological factors such as the air temperature, humidity, wind speed, and sun radiation. By using F.J. Mock Method, the amount of water flow obtained from rain’s data, characteristics of hydrology flow area, and evapotranspiration can be calculated. According to the results of data analyzing with 46.642 km2 catchments area, show that  availability of water in Poboya’s Irrigation field in the middle of January is 0,038 m3/sec meanwhile water requirement is 0,0078  m3/sec. From the result it can be concluded that water supply in Poboya’s Irrigation is enough to fullfill the needs of water on t he functional area, as well as by a farming pattern plans of Rice – Rice – Palawija

Abstract

Normalisasi adalah salah satu cara yang  dapat dilakukan untuk  mengatasi kerusakan yang ada di Sungai Lariang.  Penelitian ini dimulai dengan melakukan survey untuk menentukan lokasi yang akan di normalisasi dengan melihat tingkat kerusakannya. Besarnya debit banjir rancangan dihitung dengan Metode Haspers.  Nilai tersebut akan menjadi dasar perencanaan pekerjaan Normalisasi Sungai Lariang. Dari lima lokasi yang di tentukan, dua lokasi di normalisasi dengan pembuatan tanggul, lokasi ketiga dengan pembuatan krib, sedangkan lokasi yang keempat dan ke lima dengan metoda renaturalisasi yaitu penanaman kembali tebing dengan tanaman yang tahan erosi. Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the development planning of water distribution networks in the village of  Patutuki District   of   Peling Tengah,   considering   the region located in the coastal areas with limited of surface water sources, moreover the constriction and leakage in pipelines and water quality containing calcium or poor maintenance, so  the  flow  of  water  to  the  consumer  is reduced.  The scope  of study  is limited  to the analysis  of the availability  of water  discharge mainstay  as  one  of  the  water  sources  in  the village  Patutuki  using  FJ.  Mock  and  calculate the   domestic  water   supply   in   the   village   of Patukuki  District  of  Peling Tengah  depended on the number of  population. Furthermore, network planning distribution of domestic water in the service  area by gravity  through  the branching  system  and  closed  pipes.  For secondary data collection was carried out in the form  of meteorological  data,  population  data, topographic  data  and  the  data  of  land-use. Then calculate the water needs to be compared with the discharge  mainstay. The result is the minimum river discharge mainstay of Bebek River which is the main water source to meet water  needs in the area of service to 20 years .The maximum pressure meets the maximum permissible  limit  of 10 kg/cm2 and also meet the maximum  speed limit is a maximum  of 3 m3/sec.  For  the required  number  of plumbing needs in this plan that HDPE pipe ø 102 mm by 108 rods , PVC pipe ø 102 mm 33 rods , PVC pipe ø 76 mm 557 rods , and PVC pipe ø 51 mm 749 rods.   Keywords: water distribution networks, domestic water, Peling Tengah

Abstract

One of the methods to determine design of flood discharge that had been developed in Java are Gama I Synthetic Unit Hydrograph. This method flood hydrograph at rivers with none or very little flood hydrograph observation by using caracteristic or catchment area parameter. But, the physical caracteristic in Java is different if compared in Central Sulawesi, especially Bangga catchment area.The method in this study is to determine the deviation of flood discharge design by Gama I Synthetic Unit Hydrograph method compare with hydrology distribution method (frequency distribution). The analysis method used by Log Person Type III distribution. The result of deviation of value flood discharge design is 2052,9328 % for 2nd return period, 1633,7338 % for 5th return period, 1578,8311 % for 10th return period,1380,4368 % for 25th return period, 1251,4076 % for 50th return period, and 1136,2231 % for 100th return period.
