Abstract

Ketombe merupakan pengelupasan kulit kepala yang berlebihan dengan bentuk besar seperti sisik-sisik, disertai dengan adanya kotoran-kotoran berlemak dan juga disertai oleh kerontokan rambut. Jeruk nipis mengandung asam sitrat yang berfungsi mengurangi kelenjar minyak (sebum) pada kulit kepala. Kangkung air (Ipomoea aquatica F.) diketahui mengandung senyawa aktif fitokimia seperti alkaloid dan flavonoid yang memiliki manfaat sebagai antioksidan, antikanker, antimikroba, dan dapat menghilangkan ketombe. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan formula terbaik sediaan sampo cair kombinasi sari buah jeruk nipis dan ekstrak daun kangkung dengan melakukan variasi konsentrasi karbopol sebanyak 0,5 ; 1 dan 1,5 % untuk 3 formula. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental laboratorium di mana sari buah jeruk diperoleh secara langsung dengan diperas dan untuk ekstrak daun kangkung secara maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut etanol 96%, pemilihan thickening agent serta evaluasi sediaan meliputi pengamatan organoleptis, homogenitas, pengujian pH, bobot jenis, pengujian tinggi busa, dan pengukuran viskositas Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa formula terbaik sampo cair kombinasi ekstrak sari buah jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia S.) dan ekstrak daun kangkung (Ipomoea aquatica F.) yaitu formula I dengan konsentrasi karbopol 0,5%.

Abstract

Studies have been conducted toxicity tests methanol extract of the fruit green betel (Piper betle. L). The purpose of this study was to determine the toxicity (LC50) methanol extract of the fruit green betel (Piper betle L.). Samples are green betel fruit botanicals as much as 150 grams. The study begins with the extraction of crude of sample maceration using methanol solven. Determination of toxicity tests carried out with BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test). Data were analyzed using the percentage of larval mortality probit analysis with MINITAB version 13.2 programs with 95% confidence interval in order to obtain the LC50 values. Results of research betel fruit methanol extract of green indicate LC50 values of 309.17 ppm potential as an antimicrobial for toxic.

Abstract

There has been done a research about respons of Candida albicans against red fructus Piper Sp extract by invitro at Microbiology Laboratory, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences on September 2012. This study aims to determine the inhibitory effects of red fructus Piper Sp against fungus Candida albicans, as well as the most effective concentration of red fructus Piper Sp that has the highest inhibition against fungus Candida albicans. Population in this research were all kinds of betel, and the samples are red fructus Piper Sp. The method used is a disk diffusion with a concentration of 10%, 5%, 2.5% and Fluconazole control, the parameters measured were the inhibition zone or clear zone. The study design used was a completely randomized design (CRD), When the variance analysis showed Fhit> of F. Tabs with α.05 and α .01, then followed by HSD (Honestly significant difference) test. The results show extracts of red fructus Piper Sp can inhibit the growth of the fungus Candida albicans. The most effective concentration to inhibit the growth of Candida albicans is the concentration of 10% with a 17.42 mm inhibition zone on the Red fructus Piper Sp

Abstract

Vaccination is the process of administering vaccines by injection into the body or dripping into the mouth to increase the production of antibodies to ward off certain diseases. The implementation of this community service activity uses several methods, namely: the presentation method, this method was chosen to explain the importance of vaccination. Question and answer method, this method is very important to find out the insight of the people in Yanamaa Arso Pir 1 village, Keerom Regency regarding COVID-19 vaccination during the current pandemic. In addition, Sharing Session on COVID-19 vaccination was also carried out. Sharing session are given to the community in providing input and guidance for the material obtained. This activity will be held on November 19, 2021. The results of this service show that the people in Yanamaa Arso Pir 1 Village, Keerom Regency are very enthusiastic about participating in the activity from beginning to end.
