Abstract

AbstractThe entry of Christianity into the Batak land made a shift in the belief value of the Batak Toba people. This paper discusses beliefs about human spirit life after death in the Old Testament and in the beliefs of pre-Christian Batak people.The Israelites believed in a life form after death, death is not annihilation, but the transition to another type of existence in sheol. BatakToba people believe that there is life after death even more have power. In addition to the mention of begu, sumangot and sahala, in the Toba Batak community, people who have died arealso called tondi.Keywords: Life, After Death, Old Testament, Toba Batak Beliefs

Abstract

Abstract The P Source tells us that God created man in His image and likeness (Gen 1: 26-27), which makes man different from other creations. In understanding the position of men and women, it is necessary to understand the great difference between the ideal picture (perspective) and the factual state. By that difference, this becomes the background of this research, the writer uses method Library Researc method and build a hypothesis "man and women as the Image of God is the ideal relationship embodied in its duties and responsibilities ". Abstract

AbstractPurpose of this study was to describe the meaning of ezer kenegdo and to know position and role of women in the family. The research method used is qualitative research methods (library research). The term of “ ezer kenegdo” refer to a helper but her position withoutsuperiority and inferiority. “The patner model” between men and women is uderstood in relation to one another as the same function, where differences are complementary and mutually beneficial in all walks of life and human endeavors.Keywords: Ezer Kenegdo; Women; Family.AbstrakTujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengertian ezer kenegdo dan mengetahui kedudukan dan peran perempuan dalam keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif library research. Ungkapan “ezer kenegdo” menunjuk pada seorang penolong namun kedudukannya adalah setara tanpa ada superioritas dan inferioritas. “Model kepatneran” antara laki-laki dan perempuan dipahami dengan hubungan satu dengan yang lain sebagai fungsi yang sama, yang mana perbedaan adalah saling melengkapi dan saling menguntungkan dalam semua lapisan kehidupan dan usaha manusia.Kata Kunci: Ezer Kenegdo, Prerempuan, Keluarga.

Abstract

Profiles of IAKN Tarutung Christian Leadership Department Graduates are trainers, administrators and researchers. In the description of the graduate profile, the trainer is described that a trainer has the competence to carry out leadership training in religious institutions, non-governmental organizations, government agencies and the business/industrial world. Innature, efforts to achieve graduate profiles of researchers seek to equip students to have trainer skills through the Christian Leadership Training of Trainers Guidebook at the IAKN Tarutung Christian Leadership Department. Thepurpose of this research is as follows to design an innovative Christian Leadership Training of Trainer Handbook in the Christian Leadership Department. The research method used is researchand development (R&D). Based on the results of the research, the Christian Leadership Training of Trainers Handbook in the Christian Leadership Department is worth using.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan Kristen yang tepat adalah pemimpin yang rendah hati dan menghormati orang lain. Agar dapat bertahan hidup, kepemimpinan harus mengakui perbedaan yang setara dan menghormatinya dengan rasa hormat dan perhatian.  Namun gambaran ideal ini  tidak cocok dengan dengan kebanyak oranag yang menyebut dirinya pemimpin.  Berdasarkan gambaran faktual yang berbeda dengan gambaran ideal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untukmemberikan sumbangsih pola pikir global tentang  kepemimpinan dalam kesetaraan dan mengaitkannya dengan konteks budaya, secara spesifik falsafah suku Batak Toba yaitu Dalihan Na Tolu. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualtitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif.Perjumpaan dengan budaya memungkinkan seorang pemimpin memiliki pola pikir global dan menganggap perbedaan bukan sebagai subordinasi tetapi menjadi kesetaraan. Memimpin dalam pola pikir global memberi ruang bagi pemimpin untuk menghormati eksistensi manusia sebagai pribadi yang utuh yang harus dihormati, perlu didengar dan diberi ruang untuk mengambil keputusan. Dalam kekristenan rasa hormat pemimpin kepada yang dipimpin didasarkan pada penciptaan dan penebusan yang berlaku setara bagi semua manusia. Kesetaraan inilah yang menjadi landasan rasa hormat seorang pemimpin kepada bawahan.

Abstract

Leadership Basic Training is an activity that is commonly carried out in the school environment in an effort to train students to become leaders in the future. The Basic Leadership Training aims to cultivate and maximize the leadership potential that exists in students. Based on field observations, the Basic Leadership Training has never been carried out at SMK Cahaya Negeri Sidikalang. This Community Service Activity is carried out in the form of Transformative Leadership Training activities in Growing Confidence in Students of SMK Cahaya Negeri Sidikalang. The results of the service showed an increase in the score from the pre-test with an average pre-test score of 4.23, an increase with an average post-test score of 7.83. The increase in students' abilities after the pre-test and post-test was carried out with an average of 3.6 points. This indicates that transformational leadership training has benefits and positive impacts.
