Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji apakah mediasi orang tua memprediksi kecanduaninternet pada remaja dan apakah hubungan ini dimediasi oleh harga diri. Harga diri diyakinisebagai salah satu faktor internal yang memediasi hubungan mediasi orang tua dan kecanduaninternet. Subjek penelitian adalah 413 siswa dari 5 Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kota Yogyakartadengan usia 13-18 tahun. Kriteria subjek penelitian, yaitu pengguna internet aktif danmenggunakan internet minimal enam jam setiap hari, dan tinggal bersama orang tua yangmenggunakan internet. Analisis data dengan analisis regresi didapatkan hasil bahwa (1) mediasiorang tua berperan secara signifikan terhadap harga diri (β= 0,131, p<0,01), (2) Harga diriberperan secara signifikan terhadap kecanduan internet (β= -0,132, p<0,01) (3) Denganmengontrol harga diri, mediasi orang tua berperan secara signifikan terhadap kecanduaninternet (β= -0,290, p<0,01). Artinya, harga diri memediasi secara parsial hubungan antaramediasi orang tua dengan kecanduan internet.

Abstract

Mental health has an important implication for every teenager's life aspect, such as an ability to take action in education, friendship, family relation, and how they will go through their next life journey. School is an ideal place to help teenagers develop their mental health conditions, and the teacher is an essential factor as the service provider. This study aims to explore the mental health knowledge of counseling teachers to help students achieve a well-being condition. The research design and analysis techniques were a qualitative survey by distributing open questionnaires online to counseling teachers in junior and senior high school. The result of the research showed that the knowledge of participants about mental health in the school was less comprehensive. Most of the responses explained the emotional aspect (35%), whereas other aspects of knowledge (cognitive, habits, self-control, and social) are lower. Besides, knowledge about mental health in the school showed 26% of participant responses related to knowledge from the health aspect, whereas knowledge from being and loving aspect was lower. Another finding of this research was that most (57%) cases often handled by the participant are teenage naughtiness cases such as bullying, smoking, and stealing. Recommendations from this research are we need psychoeducation training and mental health for counseling teachers in the school.

Abstract

The character of an entrepreneur is reflected as an individual who is able to take risks and opportunities actively, creatively, innovatively, empowered, creative, initiative, leadership abilities, and initiative in new ways of acting. Entrepreneurship in the field of educational psychology is called psychoprenuer. The low level of student intention to entrepreneurship, especially in the field of psychology development, so the purpose of this study was to determine the level and factors of psychoprenuer intentions in psychology students in Yogyakarta and Jakarta. The research method was qualitative with a two-stage case study approach, namely analyzing the psychoprenuer intention scale and the factors that influence psychoprenuer intentions in psychology students in Yogyakarta and Jakarta. Development of the psychoprenuer interview intention instrument as a form of instrument data multiplication. Then testing the psychoprenuer intention level with the previously developed psychoprenuer intention scale. The data collection method in this study used a purposive sampling method with the sample criteria of students in the psychology department. Higher education can be a factor that influences the increase in the intention of psychology students to become psychopreneurs. To encourage students' intentions to become psychopreneurs, it is necessary to formulate a curriculum with related fields, this needs to be reviewed so that psychology graduates are able to adapt to the digital era and become a solution during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several factors that influence entrepreneurial intentions such as environment, family, education, personal values, age and gender. Environment, family and education are external factors while personal values, age and gender are internal factors that influence individual intentions to become entrepreneurs.
