Abstract

To realize a Smart City, the government applies the use of technology in various aspects, one of which is in the public service sector in supporting smart governance by creating a Smart Service Village System (SSVS). One of the systems developed is the Balikpapan City Housing and Settlement Service in charge of carrying out government affairs in the areas of housing, settlements, landscaping and cemeteries. One of the existing fields, namely the housing sector, has a program of providing sanitation assistance and uninhabitable houses to the people of the city of Balikpapan. In its implementation, several obstacles were found, such as the slowness of data on recommendations for aid recipients, ineffective data management, and unclear process transparency. Therefore, a system was created that assists in collecting data on prospective beneficiaries, providing actual and fast progress, as well as a more optimal process of assisting. This SSVS development uses the Personal Extreme Programming method with seven phases, namely Requirements, Planning, Iteration Initialization, Design, Implementation, System Testing, and Retrospective. It is hoped that the existence of SSVS can help the implementation of aid provision more effectively, efficiently, and transparently. This research produces a web-based system with a total of 44 use cases that are carried out in 5 iterations. Testing is carried out by user training to see acceptance from related users. user training is carried out with 3 parties to represent several types of users, from the three parties it shows very good satisfaction and acceptance with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

Tracer study is a system used to obtain information about alumni a year after their graduation. Tracer Study 2019 had 199 ITK Graduates consisting of alumni in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Of the 163 graduates, 120 of them had received the Kaltim Cemerlang Scholarship. The respondent's highest  Grade point average (GPA) was from the System information study program, and the lowest grade point average was from the electrical engineering study program.   Graduates business consists of 56,67% private company, 8,33% entrepreneur , government company  34,17%  and 0,83% profit organization. Based on the scale rate of department grade point average. The industrial technology and process department was in the lowest position with 3.29, and mathematicsand information technology's information technology stands in the first position with 3.49. kaltim cemerlang graduates scholarship prefer to work with privet company then government company, despite them havinga GPA over 3.00. graduates who take multinational companies got Rp 2.828.000/month. A few of them who take national companies had an average salary until Rp 5.212.000 than private companies.Keywords: GPA, Tracer Study, Kaltim Cemerlang ScholarshipAbstrakTracer study dibutuhkan untuk mencari data alumni untuk diolah menjadi suatu informasi yang dapat diterima civitas kampus. Data hasil mentracer alumni akan digunakan oleh pejabat tinggi kampus, alumni dan juga perusahaan sebagai informasi mengenai kualitas alumni Institut Teknologi Kalimantan setiap tahunnya. Tracer Study 2019 ditunjukan untuk alumni ITK 2016, 2017 dan 2018 yang berjumlah 199 alumni dan yang merespon sebanyak 163. Dari 163 alumni yang merespon terdapat 120 yang pernah mendapatkan Beasiswa Kaltim Cemerlang. Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) yang memiliki median tertinggi adalah Sistem Informasi dan median terendah dari prodi Teknik Elektro. Kategori bidang usaha para alumni terdiri dari 56,67% Perusahaan Swasta, 8,33% wiraswasta , Instansi Pemerintah (termasuk BUMN) 34,17% dan Organisasi non-Profit/Lembaga swadaya masyarakat sebanyak 0,83%. Berdasarkan urutan perolehan IPK terhadap Jurusan, Jurusan Teknologi Industri dan Proses menempati terendah dengan 3.29 dan Jurusan Matematika dan Teknologi Informasi (JMTI) berada diposisi tertinggi dengan 3.49. Alumni Beasiswa Kaltim Cemerlang lebih banyak memilih bekerja di perusahaan swasta dibanding kan instansi pemerintah meskipun banyak diantaranya memiliki IPK >3.00. untuk alumni yang bekerja dengan skala multinasional mendapatkan Rp 2.828.000 setiap bulannya. Jumlah alumni beasiswa kaltim cemerlang dengan skala nasional  sebanyak 32 lebih sedikit dibandingkan alumni yang bekerja di skala nasional pada perusahaan swasta namun, penghasilan yang diperoleh perbulannya rata-rata mencapai  Rp 5.212.000 lebih besar dibandingkan perusahaan swasta.Kata kunci: IPK, Tracer Study, Beasiswa Kaltim Cemerlang

Abstract

SMKN 2 Balikpapan is one of the state vocational high schools in Balikpapan that organizes Field Work Practice (PKL) programs to support student’s development in the world of work. In the current process of implementing the PKL program at SMKN 2 Balikpapan, the procedure for PKL submission is still done manually by filling out a paper form and managing it  only  using  Microsoft  Excel.  SMKN-2  Balikpapan  also  does  not  yet  have  an  information system  dedicated  to  managing  PKL  data.  Therefore,  a  PKL  management  information  system was  developed  to  facilitate  the  PKL  data  management  process  by  applying  the  Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) method, which consists of seven stages: requirements, planning, iteration initialization, design, implementation, system testing, and retrospective. Analysis and Design (OOAD) at the planning stage in the PXP method so that the system flow can be easily understood. In this study, 73 user stories were developed through five iterations. The features developed  are  the  PKL  student  data  feature,  the  PKL  application  feature,  the  DU/DI  reply confirmation feature, the placement feature, the PKL assessment feature, and so on. Testing for all  features  has  been  successful,  accepted  by  stakeholders,  and  uploaded  to  SMKN  2 Balikpapan's hosting service. SMKN  2  Balikpapan  merupakan  salah  satu  sekolah  menengah  kejuruan  negeri  di Balikpapan  yang  menyelenggarakan  program  Praktik  Kerja  Lapangan  (PKL)  untuk mendukung perkembangan siswa dalam dunia kerja. Pada proses pelaksanaan program PKL di SMKN 2 Balikpapan saat ini, prosedur pengajuan PKL masih dilakukan secara manual dengan mengisi  sebuah  formulir  berupa  kertas  dan  pengelolaannya  hanya  dengan  menggunakan Microsoft Excel. SMKN 2 Balikpapan juga belum memiliki sistem informasi yang dikhususkan untuk mengelola data PKL. Oleh sebab itu, sistem informasi manajemen PKL dikembangkan agar  memudahkan  proses  pengelolaan  data  PKL  dengan  menerapkan  metode  PXP  (Personal Extreme  Programming)  yang  terdiri  atas  7  tahap  yaitu  requirements,  planning,  iteration initialization,  design,  implementation,  system  testing,  dan  retrospective,  serta  menerapkan metode  OOAD  (Object  Oriented  Analysis  and  Design)  pada  tahap  planning  dalam  metode PXP  sehingga  alur  sistem  dapat  dipahami dengan  mudah. Pada  penelitian  ini,  dikembangkan 73 user story yang melalui 5 iterasi. Fitur yang dikembangkan yaitu fitur data siswa PKL, fitur pengajuan  PKL,  fitur  konfirmasi  balasan  DU/DI,  fitur  penempatan,  fitur  penilaian  PKL,  dan lain  sebagainya.  Pengujian  untuk  keseluruhan  fitur  telah  berhasil  dan  diterima  oleh stakeholder, serta telah diunggah pada layanan hosting milik SMKN 2 Balikpapan.

Abstract

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are rights born of human intellectuals that have economic value. HKI can be a source of higher education funding. The Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) has a HKI Center managed by the ITK LPPM (Institute for Research and Community Service). At this time, the Intellectual Property Rights Center is still not equipped with an information system for its management. The management and registration process is still carried out via email, Google Forms, and Google Sheets. HKI Centers do not yet have a system that can manage HKI Centers automatically. Thus, it is necessary to develop a Patent Management Information System (MIS) as will be discussed in this study. SIM was developed using the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) method. The development of a patent license is expected to help simplify the process of registering and managing patents at ITK. HKI has been carried out in 5 iterations with 14 user stories. The Patent SIM implements the designs made at the design stage. Implementation is done by using the concept of Model View and Controller (MVC). Conclusions are drawn in each iteration after implementation is done. Deployment is carried out on a patent license by uploading the system to the ITK server. Patent SIM can be accessed live using the ITK network with the address hki.itk.ac.id. The system is handed over to the product owner after deployment. The development ends by conducting user training and surveys on users in each role.

Abstract

Di era digital, teknologi menjadi bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan sehari – hari, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu mengelaborasi pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya waktu dan sumber daya dalam membuat soal ujian dan tes. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, diperlukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran di era digital. Salah satu inovasi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan penggunaan teknologi OpenAI API pada pembuatan soal otomatis, dapat memperbaiki masalah yang masih terbatasnya SDM guru serta pada pembuatan soal ujian yang masih dilakukan secara manual di sekolah daerah penyangga IKN. Pada pelatihan ini, para guru diajarkan dalam penggunaan teknologi OpenAI API untuk mendukung pembelajaran di sekolah, khususnya di daerah penyangga Ibukota Negara (IKN).
