Abstract

The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) many factors that cause workers are not compliant to use PPE, even though the company has provided PPE and implementing regulations that require workers to use PPE. Companies must also create workforce compliance to use PPE. The most basic stage to foster workforce awareness so that compliance with PPE is by establishing a safety culture using PPE. This type of research is experimental. The study design was a quasy experiment with a time series design approach. The study design was a pre-experimental (One group pre and post test design) that is a study that used a group of subjects, measurements were carried out before and after treatment. This study uses a non-probability sampling method, which is a sampling method where only certain individuals or objects in a population are selected as samples. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling, which is a sampling technique where the number of samples is equal to the population. Based on the results of statistical tests using paired sample t-test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05) obtained p value = 0,000 ≤ 0.05, meaning that there is an effect of K3 promotion on the use of personal protective equipment at PT. Cinta Raja in 2020. It is hoped that PT. Cinta Raja should pay attention to its employees in using personal protective equipment to minimize work accidents.

Service quality is a measure of how well the level of service provided is able to meet customer (patient) expectations. Service quality consists of real, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. Patient satisfaction is a measure of the success of health service performance, this can be seen from the suitability of expectations and reality received by patients in service. This study aims to determine the relation between service quality and satisfaction of class 1 inpatients at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. This study uses an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was inpatient class 1 at the Grandmed Hospital Lubuk Pakam as many as 32 respondents with the accidental sampling method using the chi square test with a 95% confidence level = (0.05). The results showed that there was a significant relationship between service quality and satisfaction of class 1 inpatients where tangible p (0.038) <? (0.05), reliability p (0.003) <? (0.05), responsiveness p (0.026) <? (0.05), assurance p (0.002) <? (0.05) and empathy p (0.005) <? (0.05). It is expected for health workers to improve the quality of services provided, especially in class I inpatient rooms, clean the room, apply smiles, greetings, speed, can provide excellent service and punctuality in the examination schedule for patients so as to create a relationship between patients and nurses. For hospital management, it is necessary to develop an information management system to facilitate service and quick evaluation of hospital needs.

Abstract

Hemoglobin is a protein rich in iron. The hemoglobin molecule consists of a globin molecule, an apoprotein, and four heme groups, an organic molecule with one iron atom. The function of Hb in the blood is to carry oxygen to the lungs, to the tissues and carbon dioxide, this function depends on the amount of hemoglobin contained in red blood cells. Several nutrients are needed in the formation of red blood cells. Iron or Fe, Vitamin B12 and folic acid are the most important substances. Efforts to increase hemoglobin levels are related to the intake of foods containing iron, one of which is the provision of green bean boiled water. This service aims to determine the effect of giving boiled water mung bean to increase hemoglobin levels in office workers. The subjects in this service are 48 workers. The results of this service indicate that the workers' HB levels before giving boiled water to green beans are not normal, namely 39 (81.3%) respondents with an average obtained of 1.81. The HB levels of workers after giving boiled water of green beans were all normal HB categories as many as 48 (100%) respondents with the average obtained was 1.00. Data analysis using pre-test and post-test administration of mung bean boiled water in the experimental group showed the results where the p value was 0.000, the value was 0.000 <0.05, so it can be said that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test values. which means the hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion of this service is that there is an effect of giving green bean boiled water to increase hemoglobin levels in office workers. It is hoped that health workers will provide education to the director that boiled green beans can be used as an alternative to increase hemoglobin levels.
