Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan program pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk menyosialisasikan panduan penyusunan bahan ajar media interaktif berupa video Microsoft PowerPoint bagi para guru SMP di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Hal tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mengenai proses pembelajaran daring bahwa guru hanya memberikan tugas, tidak interaktif dan pelaksanaan komunikasi hanya satu arah. Padahal, seharusnya guru proaktif dan kreatif agar bisa menggelar kegiatan belajar mengajar sama efektifnya dengan tatap muka. Para guru perlu menyiapkan bahan ajar yang inovatif dan kreatif untuk diberikan kepada para siswa selama belajar di rumah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu metode pendidikan dan pelatihan. Panduan penyusunan video powerpoint yang disosialisasikan diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi para guru dalam menyusun media pembelajaran interaktif, sehingga bahan ajar yang digunakan pada proses pembelajaran daring dapat meningkatkan kualitas kemampuan siswa dalam memahami pelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPeran guru dalam dunia pendidikan sebagai roll model yang segala tingkah laku dan ucapannya akan menjadi contoh bagi anak didiknya. Peran guru dalam dunia pendidikan modern sekarang ini semakin kompleks, tidak sekadar sebagai pengajar semata dan pendidik akademis, tetapi juga merupakan pendidik karakter, moral, dan budaya bagi siswanya. Pembelajaran kesantunan berbahasa sangatlah penting karena secara tidak langsung cara berbahasa seseorang itu akan mencerminkan karakter dan sifat seseorang secara tidak langsung. Begitupun bagi siswa sebagai peserta didik yang dekat dengan kesantunan haruslah bisa mencerminkan penggunaan bahasa yang santun. Pada era moderan ini guru dan siswa, bahkan semua kalangan sudah tidak asing lagi dengan yang namanya media sosial sebagai sarana penyampai informasi dan berkomunikasi. Bahasa yang digunakan di media sosial banyak yang tidak beretika dan jauh dari yang disebut kesantunan berbahasa. Di sinilah peran guru memberikan arahan kepada siswa bagaimana memanfaatkan media ini dengan bijak karena bisa dibaca oleh orang banyak. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti akan mencatat secara mendetail segala hal yang dapat diteliti secara empiris Dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif peneliti berharap dapat memberikan perubahan dalam kesantunan berbahasa di media sosial.Kata kunci: guru, pendidikan karakter, kesantunan bahasa, media sosial. ABSTRACTThe role of the teacher in the world of education as a roll model in which all his behavior and speech will be an example for his students. The role of teachers in the world of modern education is increasingly complex, not only as mere teachers and academic educators, but also educators of the character, morals, and culture of their students. The learning of politeness in language is very important because indirectly the way a person speaks will reflect the character and nature of a person indirectly. Likewise for students as students who are close to politeness should be able to reflect the use of polite language. In this modern era teachers and students, even all groups are familiar with the name of social media as a means of delivering information and communicating. The language used on social media is mostly unethical and is far from what is called politeness in language. This is where the role of the teacher gives direction to students how to use this media wisely because it can be read by many people. This service uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Researchers will note in detail everything that can be investigated empirically With qualitative descriptive methods researchers hope to provide a change in politeness in language on social media.Keywords: teacher, character education, language politeness, social media.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of data from the evaluation results on the writing skills of students in class XI tend to be still low. This is caused by the selection of learning methods used less suitable with the material being taught, so students experience difficulties and are less motivated during learning. Based on the description, the study of learning to write text procedures was carried out using the Picture and Picture method in students of class XI Vocational School. The purpose to be obtained is to find out the results of student writing using the Picture and Picture method and to find out the differences in the learning outcomes of writing Procedure Text using the Picture and Picture method. This research uses Pre-Experimental Design research method with One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design approach. The researcher chose 30 students in the XI class. The researcher carried out data collection techniques by conducting the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest). Based on the results of the test, the average pretest value was 52 and the posttest average value was 78.5 so that it showed the difference results with a difference of 26.5.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of data from the results of observations in the field, which resulted in the ability to write biographical texts on high school students who were still low. This is because there are teacher problems that are not appropriate in applying the method, so students feel difficulties in learning in school. Based on the description, the researchers conducted a study of the application of the jigsaw method to learning to write biographical texts of high school students expected by using these methods to obtain better results. The purpose to be obtained is to find out the process of students using the jigsaw method and to find out the differences in the learning outcomes of writing biographical texts using the jigsaw method. This study also used the Quasi Experimental Design research method with a one group pre-test post-test design approach. The researcher chose 35 high school students in the sample. Data collection techniques were used by conducting the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest). Based on these results the average value of pretest is 60.7 and the average posttest value is 80.91 so that there is a difference in value of 20.21 which can be concluded that the jigsaw method is effective in solving teacher problems that are not appropriate in applying the method.
