Abstract

The aimed of this study is to investigate the impact of social media utilization on the student's performances for knowledge sharing in teaching and learning progress. A research model on the basis of the Task-Technology Fit Theory and three hypotheses theory was developed for this study. Model and hypotheses then tested and validated using data obtained from a survey of respondents. The survey was conducted on students at a university in Indonesia. Of the 103 questionnaires filled out by members of the university, 75 questionnaires declared valid and used for further analysis. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) PLS Smart software utilizes V2. This study reveals that student performance in sharing knowledge with social media impact by technology characteristic and social media utilization.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh tiga elemen alturisme, reputasi, dan balas jasa terhadap aktivitas berbagi pengetahuan yang dilakukan oleh para akademisi melalui social media. Sebuah model penelitian dan tiga buah hipoteses dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini. Model dan hipoteses kemudian diuji dan divalidasi menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari sebuah survey yang dilaksanakan secara online. Survey secara online dilakukan pada sebuah grup dosen di Indonesia. Dari 115 kuesioner yang diisi oleh anggota komunitas online tersebut 75 kuesioner dinyatakan valid dan digunakan untuk analisis lebih lanjut. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) memanfaatkan perangkat lunak Smart PLS V2. Hasil dari pengolahan data mengindikasikan bahwa alturisme mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap aktivitas akademisi dalam berbagi pengetahuan di komunitas virtual, sedangkan balas jasa dan reputasi tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap aktivitas berbagi pengetahuan mereka.Kata kunci: Berbagi Pengetahuan, Sosial Media, Akademisi, Alturisme, Balas Jasa, Reputasi Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between alturisme, reputations, and reciprocity elements with academician knowledge sharing activity in social media. A research model was developed with three hypotheses for this study. Research model and hyphotheses next was examined and validated using data collected from online survey. Online survey was conducted in one of Indonesia academic virtual group. One hundred and fifteen quetionnaires collected from the survey and seventy five questionnaires were valid and use for next analyisis. Data collected from the survey was analyzed with Partial Least Square (PLS) using Smart PLS V2. The result from data analyisis indicated that alturism element has positive affect to academician knowledge sharing activity in virtual community; however this study reveals that there is no significant relation between reciprocity and reputation with academician knowledge sharing activity in virtual community.Keyword: Knowledge Sharing, Social Media, Academician, Alturism, Reciprocity, Reputation

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh  empat elemen “trust’, “risk” “perceived usefulness” dan “ease of use” terhadap perilaku konsumen dalam mengadopsi teknologi mobil untuk pemesanan tiket secara online. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan dalam rangka memahami pola hubungan antara elemen “trusk” dan “risk” yang mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen di Indonesia dalam memanfaatkan layanan M-Commerce. Sebuah model penelitian dan lima buah hipoteses dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini. Model dan hipoteses kemudian diuji dan divalidasi menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari sebuah survey yang dilaksanakan secara online. Penyebaran kuesioner secara online dilakukan melalui aplikasi media sosial. Dari 110 kuesioner yang diisi oleh responden sebanyak 95 kuesioner dinyatakan valid dan digunakan untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) memanfaatkan perangkat lunak Smart PLS V2. Hasil dari pengolahan data mengindikasikan bahwa elemen “perceived usefulness” dan “esae of use”mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap aktivitas konsumen dalam menggunakan teknologi mobil untuk pemesanan tiket online, penelitian juga menemukan hubungan antara elmen “trust” dan elemen “risk”. Namun penelitian ini tidak menemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara elemen “risk” dengan  perilaku konsumen dalam menggunakan aplikasi mobile.Kata kunci: Perilaku Pengguna, Mobile Commerce, Resiko, Kepercayaan, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Abstract. The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between the elements of trust, risk, perceived usefulness, and ease of use and their impact on consumer behavior in the intention of use of mobile commerce services for online ticketing.  A research model with five hypotheses was developed for this research. Conducting this research is important in term off to understand the relationship of trust and risk in order to understand people behavior in using mobile commerce. Research model and hypotheses was validated using online questionnaire that distrubed in social media. 110 questionnaire was obtained from the survey and 95 validated questionnaire then use for next analysis. Partial Smart Square (PLS) was used for data analyisis using Smart PLS V2. This study reveals that perceived usefulness and ease of use has significant effect for people behavior in using mobile application for purchase online ticketing, this research also identified that trust has relationship with risk element. However, this research did not found any significant relationship between risk and people behavior in using mobile application.Keyword: User Behavior, Mobile Commerce, Trust, Risk, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megevaluasi pemanfaatan aplikasi media sosial yang digunakan sebagai sarana berbagi pengetahuan oleh dosen di Indonesia dalam sebuah grup virtual di facebook. Model Kesuksesaan Sistem Informasi oleh Delone dan McLean digunakan sebagai teori dasar dengan mempertimbangkan faktor karaterisktik individu. Sebuah model penelitian dan dua belas buah hipoteses dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini. Model dan hipoteses kemudian diuji dan divalidasi menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari sebuah survey yang dilaksanakan secara online. Survey secara online dilakukan pada sebuah grup dosen di Indonesia. Sebanyak 160 kuesioner diisi oleh anggota komunitas online tersebut dan dinyatakan valid dan digunakan untuk analisis lebih lanjut. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) memanfaatkan perangkat lunak Smart PLS V2. Pengujian meliputi “measurement model” dan “structural model”. Hasil dari pengolahan data mengindikasikan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial (facebook) telah berhasil menjadi sarana bagi para akademisi di Indonesia dalam berbagi informasi dan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa faktor “system use” dan “user satisfaction” adalah faktor utama yang mempengaruhi “individual impact”, sementara itu faktor lain seperti karateristik individu mempengaruhi system quality dan information quality. Sedangkan Information quality mempengaruhi system use, dan system use mempengaruhi user satisfaction.Kata kunci: Media Sosial, akademisi, model sukses sistem informasi, karaterisktik individu, berbagi pengetahuanAbstract. The aim of this research is to evaluate the succsess of social media for knowledge sharing among academician in Indonesia in virtual group at Facebook. IS Success Model by Delone and McLean was apply as a basis theory along with individual characteristic factor. This study develops a research model with twelve hypotheses. Model and hypotheses then validated using data from online survey. Online Survey was conducted in a group of Indonesian academician. 160 questionnaires were collected from the survey and use for next analysis. Data was analysis by Partial Least Square (PLS) using Smart PLS V2. There are two type of examination conducted in this research evaluation of measurement model and structural model. This research indicates that social media have been success uses by Indonesian academia for knowledge sharing. This study found that “system use” and “user satisfaction” as main variable influences “individual Impact”. While, “Individual characteristic” influences “system and information quality” furthermore “information quality” influences “system use” and “system use” influences “user satisfaction”.Keyword: Social Media, academician, information system success model, individual characteristic, knowledge sharing

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana pengaruh reward yang ditawarkan oleh organisasi terhadap niat dan perilaku karyawan dalam melakukan Knowledge Sharing (KS). Duadimensi reward akan ditinjau hubungannya terhadap niat dan perilaku karyawan dalam KS, yaitu finansial dan non-finansial reward. Theory Reason of Action (TRA) dan Theory Planed of Behavior (TPB) menjadi basis untuk mengembangkan konseptual model pada penelitian ini, model yang dikembangkan memiliki tiga hipotesis yang menggambarkan hubungan antar konstruk finansial reward dan non-finansial reward terhadap niat dan perilaku karyawan dalam KS. Model dan hipotesis yang dikembangkan di validasi melalui sebuah survei yang melibatkan 216 orang responden dari tiga institusi perbankan di Indonesia. Data hasil survei dianalisis dengan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM) melalui software Smart-PLS versi 2. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa niat dan perilaku para pekerja di sektor perbankan Indonesia secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh finansial reward yang ditawarkan oleh organisasi mereka, namun penelitian ini tidak menemukan pengaruh antara nonfinansial reward dengan niat dan perilaku karyawan dalam KS.Kata kunci: Finansial Reward, Non-Finansial Reward, Knowledge Sharing, Niat, Perilaku.Abstract. The goal of this research is to investigate how reward that offer by organization influencing the employee KS intention and behavior. The relationship between two dimension of reward such financial and non-financial reward and employee intention and behavior in KS will be explored in this study. Theory reason of Action (TRA) and Theory Planed of Behavior is applied as a basis to develop a conceptual model for this research. The conceptual model consists of three hypotheses that explain the relationship between financial and non-financial reward constructs with employee intention and behavior in KS. Model and hypotheses were validated by a survey; the survey participated by 216 respondents from three Bank Institution in Indonesia. Data from the survey was analyzing by Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Smarts PLS V2. This study reveals that employee intention and behavior in KS is influenced by financial reward; however this study did not find any relationship between non-financial reward and employee intention and behavior in KS.Keywords: Financial Reward, Non-Financial Reward, Knowledge Sharing, Intention, Behavior

The aim of this study is to investigate how success is the social media as a tool for knowledge sharing among scholars in Indonesia. To evaluate the success of social media we develop a model base on Delone and McLeane IS Success Model. In this article, we would like discuss the process of developing the research model. In developing the model, we conduct literature review from knowledge management, social media and IS Success Model area from previous study. Abstract

Abstract. Internet banking service has become an important part of the current banking products. It could be said almost all bank, which is operating in Indonesia, have to equip their products by providing internet-banking services for its customers. Despite the fact that the investment to build the internet banking service has been carried out by almost all banks in Indonesia, but in fact the use of internet banking adoption is still not significant. Banking in Indonesia still filled with questions about Internet banking services such as what exactly is a yearning of each customer. Because it is highly important for banking in Indonesia to fully understand the quality of the services, which they had provided. A good understanding of the customer's perception when using internet banking services will certainly be a strong foundation for bank in Indonesia to be able in provide an appropriate internet services, effective and efficient for customers. If the customer hope has been fulfilled, that customers will be satisfied and will ultimately loyal to the internet banking service. This study examines the elements that will affect the quality of the internet banking service for customers. A survey conducted by inviting 115 respondents. Data were analyzed using SEM method utilizing Smart PLS software. This study found that the "Banking Services Product Quality", "Online Customer Services Quality" "Online Information Services Quality" and "Overall Internet Banking Services Quality", an effect on customer satisfaction in using internet banking services. Keywords: Services Quality, Internet Banking, Structural of Equation Model, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

Knowledge sharing is important activity for create a new knowledge. Information technology today brings big oppurtubity for people in conduct knowledge sharing. This media provides effective and competitive technology tool for knowledge sharing. The aimed of this study is to report the on process research that investigates the success of social media for sharing knowledge among scholars in Indonesia. This study focus to discuss the instrument development stages from the research especially discuss how content validity conduct for in instrument validation progress. Method for content validation progress was adopting from Beck and Gale approach in nursing area. This study resulted in a validated instrument from content validation approach.

Abstract

Population density in Indonesia is ranked fourth in the world. The impact of a large population will affect the level of welfare of the community to decrease, and the number of unemployment is increasing so that the state makes Family Planning Program (PLKB) to control the rate of population growth. Problems in the PLKB program are on knowledge management and mapping from data contraception, counseling and planning so that this research using Ontology method will aim to do mapping with knowledge management and Ontology design shows represented data to relate and describes the resources contained in family planning data. This research approach the representation of ontology that is validated through model transformation from family planning data to ontology design using OWL and RDF which are useful for data processing and representing data to be utilized by field officers in educating the public and eradicating negative issues about family planning programs

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the success of social media as a means of sharing knowledge among scholars in Indonesia. By using Information System Success Model (DeLone and McLean), this study develops a research model that will be used to investigate what factors are contributing to the success of social media as tool for sharing knowledge among academics. This article would focus on the discussion of instrument development and validation process. The method for development and validation the research instrument was refers to the framework proposed by McKanzie et al. This study resulted in a validated instrument, the instrument could use by researchers who are interested in study social media success for knowledge sharing.
