<![CDATA[Abstrak Transmisi daya listrik menggunakan saluran udara tegangan tinggi, Saluran tersebut sangat rentan terhadap gangguan karena jarak yang sangat jauh. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan kehandalan sistem proteksi yang tinggi untuk mengamankan saluran udara tersebut. Untuk memenuhi kehandalan dari sistem proteksi, maka perlu dilakukan penalaan rele jarak, Dalam kasus penelitian ini, diambil saluran transmisi yang menghubungkan gardu induk Bandung Selatan – Cigereleng. Dalam penalaan rele jarak tersebut dibagi ke dalam tiga Zona proteksi.  Dari hasil perhitungan, penalaan rele jarak untuk Zone 1 sebesar 0,205 ∠69,39o Ohm dengan waktu operasi trip 0 detik, Zone 2 sebesar 1,201 ∠70,76o Ohm dengan waktu operasi trip 0,4 detik, dan Zone 3 sebesar 2,175 ∠70,804o Ohm dengan waktu operasi trip 1,6 detik.  Kata kunci: Rele Jarak,Zona Proteksi,Saluran Transmisi,Sistem Proteksi. Abstract Electrical power transmission’s use overhead lines high voltage , The overhead lines are very vulnerable to disturbance because of long distances. It is needed realiability protection system to serves the protection of overhead high voltage. To meet the reliability of protection system, it is necessarsary it setting lines the distance relay for transmission lines. In this research sampel, it was the transmission line that  Connecting the substation Bandung selatan – Cigareleng. the setting of distance relay, it divided into three zones of protection. Wore done the result of calculation, the distance relay setting for Zone 1 was 0.205 ∠69.39o Ohm with the trip operating time 0 seconds, Zone 2 was 1.201 ohm ∠70.76o with trip operation time of o.4 seconds , and Zone 3 was 70.804 ∠2.175o Ohm with trip operating time of 1.6 seconds.  Keywords: Distance Relay,Zone Protection,Transmission Line,Protection System.]]>
