Abstract

The sand sieving system is generally still done manually which requires full human power for the sieving process. This is quite time consuming and the resulting fine sand mass is far from what is required for a construction project. Therefore the author made the idea of ​​​​designing a sand sieving machine that can be applied anywhere. This machine uses a driving system of a Brushless Direct Current electric motor with a capacity of 350W as the driving motor. Brushless Direct Current Motor is used because it has the advantage of a large starting torque, higher speed because it does not use a brush. As a source of electricity, new renewable energy solar panels with a capacity of 400Wp are used which are more environmentally friendly and efficient. This machine works when the solar panels supply a power source to the driving motor and then transmitted by the chain and gear to the sieve tube for the sieving process. This machine has a faster sand sieving process than manual sieving and the type of motor used is more efficient.

Abstract

Voltage instability is mainly related to reactive power imbalances. The durability of the bus in the power system depends on the reactive power support that the bus can receive from the system. Since the system approaches the maximum loading point (MLP) or the voltage breakdown point, the real and reactive power loss increases rapidly. Therefore, the reactive carrying capacity must be local and adequate. This research studies the effect of using one type of Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS), Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM), on increasing the Static Voltage Stability margin. STATCOM AC and DC representations used in the Continuation Power Flow (CPF) process in static voltage stability studies. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been practically simulated on the Bali 16-bus electrical system to investigate the system loading capacity increase. From simulations carried out with installing the modern controller in the best location, an increase in the endurance margin of the power system can obtain significantly.

Abstract

Sebagai seorang pengembang, menghasilkan suatu produk yang berkualitas tinggi menjadi suatu keharusan. Oleh karena itu, proses pengembangan perangkat lunak perlu ditingkatkan atau diperbaiki untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari perangkat lunak yang dihasilkan. Salah satu tahapan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tersebut adalah dengan melakukan pengujian terhadap perangkat lunak yang dikembangkan. Banyak metode pengujian perangkat lunak yang dapat digunakan, salah satunya adalah pengujian statis. Pengujian ini dapat dilakukan tanpa harus melakukan eksekusi perangkat lunak dan tidak perlu menunggu proses pengembangan selesai dilakukan. Pada penelitian ini, dikembangkan aplikasi Sitagih yang akan diuji pada tiga kategori penerapan, yaitu berdasarkan modul perangkat lunak, komponen perangkat lunak, dan struktur perangkat lunak. Pengujian pada komponen perangkat lunak dilakukan dengan mengukur Software Metric menggunakan aplikasi PhpMetrics. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian diperoleh hasil bahwa masih terdapat beberapa Class yang belum lolos kasus uji. Selain itu, hasil pengukuran metric diperoleh tingkat maintainability yang rendah sehingga aplikasi Sitagih masih perlu perbaikan terutama di dokumentasi, penerapan algoritma yang lebih sederhana, dan penambahan sub kelas. Khususnya pada Class Order yang memiliki nilai maintainability di bawah 65 dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sulit untuk dirawat dan dikembangkan. Dari penelitian ini, dapat dibuktikan bahwa pengujian statis memiliki pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap kualitas perangkat lunak yang dihasilkan dari pengembangan.

Abstract

To obtain renewable energy, there are obtaining electricity supply it can be done by utilizing solar energy radiation power. With using solar cells to convert solar energy into electrical energy, or we call as Solar Power Plants (PLTS). This research will develop previous research, there are the design of output monitoring systems and data recording on Arduino microcontroller-based solar panels where tools designed to monitor current, voltage and light intensity use the NRF24l01 module remotely to facilitate analysis of solar cells using the Arduino Uno microcontroller system. Data processing taken in seconds and minutes is displayed on a PC or smartphone screen using Blynk software and the data is stored on the PLX-DAQ in real time. so that researchers do not need to observe PLTS in place for data collection because the tool can cover it automatically with an error rate of sensor testing used less than 5%.

Abstract

The sun is an alternative energy source that is currently being utilized, by using solar panels to capture light and process it into the electrical power we need. The performance of solar panels is strongly influenced by several parameters including panel surface temperature, ambient temperature, and solar irradiance. This research makes a solar irradiation sensor using solar panels as a substitute for a pyranometer and adds temperature and wind speed sensors to determine the effect on PLTS performance. To find out the temperature, the PV surface temperature uses the DS18B20 sensor and the ambient temperature sensor uses the DHT11 sensor. Anemometer sensors use wind speed to find out, then each sensor is configured with an Arduino microcontroller so that it can operate and display the required data. The test results obtained the effect of wind speed on the performance of solar panels.
