Abstract

The module is required to achieve optimal learning. This study aims to produce products such as bioindicator module that is valid for students of the Islamic University of Jember. This study refers to the model of development of the 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) which is limited only up to the stage-3. Module design is the result of research on bioindicators macrobenthos in Bedadung River and literature studies. The validity of the module is analyzed through expert validation sheet material, media experts and legibility students. Validation of subject matter experts score was 90.91%, from media experts score was 93.75% and legibility of student test score was 85, 38%. In conclusion bioindicator modules developed after the validation and revision declared eligible to be used as supplementary teaching materials Animal Ecology courses for student of Islamic University of Jember. Keywords: Module bioindicators, Students of Islamic University of Jember.

Abstract

Achievement of targeted learning in the course must be in accordance with the competence of graduates specified in the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI), so that to make it happen required learning methods that can build the competence. The result of observation, the students are still less uniform in the mastery of proven concepts in the discussion and question and answer are not many who convey the idea of understanding. Based on the observations need to apply Reciprocal Teaching (RT) through Lesson study (LS). The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of students' cognitive learning outcomes and the implementation of RT teaching methods through LS. The sample used in this research is the students of State University of Malang Semester III Offering C-C and C-F with the number of students 31 people, consisting of 3 men and 28 women. Application of Reciprocal Teaching through LS is implemented for 3 LS cycles, each cycle consisting of plan, do and see stages. The results showed that the learning of Reciprocal Teaching through LS able to increase the average of cognitive learning result of student equal to 84,35 with 100% classical completeness. The implementation of the LS RT-based learning works very well. Keywords: Reciprocal Teaching, Lesson Study, learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase of science learning result. The subjects of the study were all students of class XI. Data collection techniques use tests, observations, and documentation. In the implementation of this research, researchers use two cycles consisting of stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Analysis data in this research using qualitative approach.            Learning takes two cycles, learning in cycle I and learning in cycle II. Both have media and method equations, but differ in learning materials. In the first cycle obtained the group activity completeness number that is equal to 75%. On the second cycle progressed well with the obtained figures mask activity group that is equal to 88. Activity of this group as a support to improve student learning outcomes.            Based on the results of classroom action research can be concluded Learning video media with Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in materials science waste management subjects. This can be seen from the completeness of learning resultthat are classically achieved at each end of the cycle. In the first cycle obtained classical completeness number of 85%. Different with cycle II, in this cycle there is an increase of 90%. Ofthe total students of learning result already Reached the KKM that is >70.Keywords: Learning result, group activities, and Problem Based Learning
