Abstract

Model pembelajaran sangat berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Model Group Investigation berpotensi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa karena model ini menerapkan penyelidikan ilmiah yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian kami berusaha untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Group Investigation terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi jaringan tumbuhan. Metode: Digunakan sebanyak 74 siswa sebagai responden dalam penelitian ini. Soal tes keterampilan proses sains berupa pilihan ganda berjumlah 35 butir digunakan sebagai alat mengumpulkan data. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan rumus uji t yang sebelumnya diuji normalitas dan homogenitasnya. Hasil: Perhitungan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,5 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 67,4. Penelitian kami menginformasikan bahwa model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) diketahui dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan proses sains (KPS) siswa (thitung = 5,01 > ttabel = 2,38) . Kesimpulan: Model pembelajaran Group Investigation memiliki potensi yang baik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

Project-based learning (PjBL) was one of the learning strategies that can develop students' scientific skills in the 21st century. This study used a qualitative approach by analyzing several articles published in biology education journals in Indonesia from 2015–2022, focusing on studying the implementation of project-based learning on biological materials. The current study reveals that there has been a decline in the number of publications over the past four years. Among these studies, the dominant research design is quantitative. In addition, high school students and environmental content were the most targeted subjects and content, respectively. ANOVA and tests are the most commonly used data analysis techniques and instruments. Meanwhile, the most widely measured skills as learning outcomes are critical and creative thinking. Based on what this study found, a number of suggestions have been made to do more research on PjBL and to test other 21st century skills. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penerapan asesmen formatif dalam meningkatkan self regulation dan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa pendidikan biologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah weak experiment dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest-postestyang dilakukan di Jurusan pendidikan Biologi FKIP UHAMKA Jakarta pada mahasiswa yang mengontrak mata kuliah Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup pada semester genap 2012/2013 sejumlah 30 orang. Instrumenyang digunakan terdiri dari angket Self Regulation awal dan akhir, pretest dan postest penguasaan konsep serta angket respon mahasiswa, task dan rubric presentasi perkuliahan, lembar observasi presentasi kelompok, learning Journal, angket mahasiswa setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup serta catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan indeks Gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan self regulation dan penguasaan konsep, uji-t untuk serta uji regresi untuk melihat konrtibusinya. Pembahasan difokuskan pada peningkatan self regulation dan penguasaan konsep, kontribusi asesmen formatif terhadap self regulation dan respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapannya. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penerapan asesmen formatif dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan self regulation. Asesmen formatif menunjukkan kontribusi umpan balik (31,2%), self assessment (15,1%) dan peer assessment (14%). Asesmen formatif berpengaruh terhadap kategori self regulation (25,8%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan asesmen formatif pada mata kuliah pendidikan lingkungan hidup mendapat respon positif dari mahasiswa serta dapat meningkatkan kemampuan self regulation di atas nilai standar 0,58 (N-gain sedang). Penerapan asesmen formatif terhadap peningkatan penguasaan konsep tidak berkorelasi signifikan, tetapi penerapan asesmen formatif tetap memiliki kontribusi terhadap peningkatan penguasaan konsep walaupun cenderung kecil dan dapat diabaikan. Abstract

Science learning in the 21st Century is marked by the improvement and development of students' skills in thinking, acting, and living in the world; 21st-century skills can be developed using various methods, approaches, and learning models. The STEM and Computational Thinking (CT) approach can be a tool for teachers and students in achieving learning goals in the digital era. This paper aims to review the results of research related to CT-STEM in science learning. The research method is carried out by applying the PRISMA protocol. Articles imported from publish or perish come from international journals with a publication range of 2018-2021 then screening is carried out so that ten articles are obtained that are eligible for qualitative testing. After that, coding was carried out using NVIVO 12. The trend of the type of research used by some researchers was a correlative survey, elementary school students were mostly chosen as research subjects, while the most widely used research instruments were computational thinking skills and perception of STEM skills, while for data analysis, The most frequently used are content analysis and descriptive statistics. In addition, there are two articles that combine the CT-STEM approach with learning models, namely: inquiry and PBjL. Regarding the research results, it can be recommended for further research to develop products in the form of learning tools to be able to apply CT-STEM in science learning, especially in Indonesia.
