Abstract

Tourism is very important in Indonesia. However, there are many ways to promote tourism. One of the ways is through video. In promoting tourism in Siak Regency, many people have made tourism video but only in short videos. They are advertisement videos. The duration of the videos was limited and the dubber explained the exposure of the video used Bahasa Indonesia. Therefore, this profile video about tourism in Siak Regency will help Siak Regency in promoting tourism destinations. The main purpose of this final project is to explain the processes of making a profile video about tourism in Siak Regency. The method of this study is descriptive method. There are several steps in making this video such as collecting data, providing materials recording the video, giving the subtitles, continuing proceed with the process of dubbing, and the last was editing process. This video contains of ten places and a tourism event. This video can be used in order to help students, Tourism Office of Siak Regency, local community, and especially International community get information about the history and the tourism destinations in Siak Regency easily.   Tourism is very important in Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract: The point of the examination is to discover answers to the topic of why some Indonesians choose to keep learning at the postgraduate level in the wake of finishing their master’s program. At the core of the examination is the investigation of the intentions or reasons which Indonesian, qualified people that could take up the other business then to become doctoral understudies. Motivation for accomplishing something is ordinarily alluded to as a lot of inside and outside variables that impact the choices or practices. In this venture, we did an overview of the thought processes to turn into a doctoral understudy through the recollections of PhD graduates. A subjective examination focused on the portrayal of 250 doctoral alumni who are presently functioning as teachers at Indonesian. Every one of them represented considerable authority in the field of instructive examinations and worked at a college for a limit of five years after the culmination of doctoral investigations. Abstract

In learning English, there are several skills that should be learned by students such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. The students are expected to be able to master all language skills of English to communicate. In order to communicate there are components that the students must be able to acquire. Vocabulary is important to learn by students. One of ways to learn vocabulary is through a game. An Alvo Game was adapted from Game Guess Image and Scrabble game. The purpose of this study is to make Alvo Game to for elementary school students. The result of this study was a set of Alvo Game consists of plywood in which that there are twenty-nine double of alphabet and thirty pictures. The evaluation showed that it was suitable for elementary school students. By using this game, the students can learn vocabulary in a more interesting and attractive way.

Abstract

Dictoglos can be used as a strategy in writing, it is expected that student can improve their writing. The aim of this study was to analyze the use of “Dictoglos” to enlarge senior high school students’ ability in writing. This study was literature study research. The methods of collecting the primary data were documentation and observation. Meanwhile, journals, documentation books, and internet were taken for the secondary data. This study was analyzed using descriptive analysis method. Based on the data analyzed, it can be concluded that Dictoglos is an interesting and exciting strategy that can be applied in teaching writing. This strategy assists the students to reproduce and construct the component of the text. There are six steps in teaching a dictoglos; 1) Selecting a content-related to the text and read it aloud at a normal speaking. 2) Rereading the text twice more. 3) Having the students work in pairs to re-create as much of the text as possible using the note taken by each of the partners to write the text as closely as possible to the original text as read to the teacher. 4) Having two pairs to meet together and pool their re-create of the text to reconstruct it more completely. 5) Having the group of four works together to write down as much of the text as possible. 6) Asking one of each group to read the groups re-creation of the text and ask the other groups to see how closely it matches their version.
