Abstract

This study aims to produce an E-LKPD Biology Based on Problem Based Learning Integrated STEM on the Circulatory System Material that is valid, practical and effective for use in biology learning in class XI SMA. This research is a research and development (Research & Development) using a 4-D model. The instruments used were validation sheets of media experts and material experts, practicality sheets of teachers and students, an evaluation sheets posttest. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of research and development of E-LKPD based on  Problem Based Learning Integrated STEM show that the average results of material validation and media validation are very valid categories. The results of the practicality test of teachers and students show a very practical category. For the results of the effectiveness of the results N-gain score obtained high category. Thus, it can be concluded that the E-Integrated BiologyLKPD is STEM valid, practical and effective for students of class XI SMA.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of using the Quizizz application on students' motivation  on the excretory system material. This research was an experimental study with a pre-experimental design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA MAN Tanjungpinang. The sampling technique used a total sampling technique where the entire population was sampled so that the research sample amounted to 56 students who were grouped into control and experimental groups. The research instruments used in this study were (1) Questionnaire Instruments, to obtain data on student responses to motivation after using quizizz; (2)  Learning Implementation Observation Sheet Using Quizizz, to obtain learning implementation data. Based on the results of the comparative analysis, it is known There is a significant effect on the use of the Quizizz application on students' learning motivation as indicated by the sig value. (2-tailed) 0.002 < 0.05. Quizizz can be an alternative learning media to support the learning process that can generate interest, activity, motivation and student learning outcomes.Keywords:Quizizz, interactive quiz, Motivation, Learning Outcomes, excretory  system

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of an integrated e-module of Gunung Kijang's local potential on biotechnology materials in the fields of agribusiness and agrotechnology for class X SMK students, and describe their quality in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. This research is a research and development (research and development) using the hannafin and peck development research model consisting of three stages, namely the needs analysis phase, the design phase and the development or implementation phase and each phase involves evaluation. The instruments used were material expert validation sheets and teaching materials experts, teacher and student practicality sheets, pre-test and post-test evaluation sheets, and student learning interest questionnaires after using e-modules. Based on the results of development research, it is known that the assessment of the validity of the aspects of the material and teaching materials is categorized as "very valid". The results of the practicality questionnaire by teachers and students belong to the “very practical” category. The results of the effectiveness through the pre-test and post-test showed an increase with the n-gain value in the high category, the student learning interest questionnaire showed an increase with the n-gain value in the medium category. It can be concluded that the development of an integrated e-module of Gunung Kijang's local potential in biotechnology materials in the fields of agribusiness and agrotechnology for class X SMK students is developed very validly, practically, and effectively so that it is suitable for use in the learning process at school.Kata Kunci: Biotechnology, E-Modules, Local Potential

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe science process skills in science learning at the eight grade of SMP Negeri 8 Tanjungpinang. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach. The sample of this research were students from VIII A, VIII C, and VIII E grade of SMP Negeri 8 Tanjungpinang. Data in this research was gained from observation sheets instrument and test science process skills. The result of analysis showed science process skills of students VIII grade was good. Based on average result of science process skills from observation sheets is 66% in good category, and the result of science process skills from test is 68% in good category. When viewed from the test result the aspect of submitting hypotheses with a percentage is 54% enough category of the sample used class. Teachers suggested to develop more science process skills in the learning, both in terms of test, discussion, and experiment. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 8 Tanjungpinang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan kelas VIII A, VIII C, dan VIII E di SMP Negeri 8 Tanjungpinang. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi dan tes keterampilan proses sains. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas VIII dapat dikategorikan baik. Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata keterampilan proses sains dari lembar observasi terukur sebesar 66% dengan kategori baik. Begitu juga dengan hasil tes keterampilan proses sains menunjukkan rata-rata persentase 68% dengan kategori baik. Jika dilihat dari hasil tes aspek mengajukan hipotesis dapat dikategorikan cukup dengan persentase 54% dari kelas sampel yang digunakan. Disarankan kepada guru lebih dapat mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains siswa dalam pembelajaran, baik itu dari segi tes, diskusi serta percobaan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study analyzed the science process skills of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang in biology learning. This research aims to (1) describe the science process skills of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang in the special biological learning of the Coordination System topic. (2) Describe the factors that affect the science process skills of the student XI SMA Negeri 1 in the coordination system topic. The samples were 40 students from SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang class XI in science major. The instrument used was 12-question description and an observation sheet for three times. The results showed the science process skills of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang on a good category coordinating system with an average value of 79.8% of the test result and a very good category 90% of the observation result. In the results of the aspect test communicates have the highest percentage of 94% with the category is very good and the aspect of applying the concept to the lowest with a percentage of 64% with a good category. In the results of the aspect observation sheet classify have the highest percentage with a very good category 97% and the observing aspect has the lowest percentage of 83% with excellent categories Abstract. Penelitian ini menganalisis keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang dalam pembelajaran biologi terkhusus pada materi sistem koordinasi. (2) mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 pada materi sistem koordinasi. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 40 orang yang berasal dari SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang kelas XI jurusan MIPA. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes uraian sebanyak 12 soal dan lembar observasi selama tiga kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Keterampilan Proses Sains siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang pada materi sistem koordinasi berkategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 79,8% dari hasil tes dan berkategori sangat baik 90% dari hasil observasi. Dalam hasil tes aspek berkomunikasi memiliki persentase paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat baik dan aspek menerapkan konsep menjadi yang paling rendah dengan persentase sebesar 64% dengan kategori baik. Dalam hasil lembar observasi aspek mengelompokkan memiliki persentase paling tinggi dengan kategori sangat baik 97% dan aspek mengamati memiliki persentase terendah yakni 83% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka was implemented in 2022. The characteristics of the kurikulum merdeka were the development of soft skills and character, focus on essential materials, and flexible learning. The low learning outcomes of students were still a problem. One of the efforts that can be done was to apply the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by performance assessment. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by performance assessment on the learning outcomes of grade VIII students on organ system material. This type of research was Quasi Experiment, with a Non Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The experimental class used the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by performance assessment while the control class used conventional methods. Based on the hypothesis test with the t test, the calculated value = 2.654 and ttable = 2.006. From the data shows that if tcalculate > ttable, h1 was accepted, it was concluded that there was an influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by performance assessment on the cognitive learning outcomes of grade VIII students on organ system material.
