Abstract

This paper explores the possibility of digital twin concept implementation framework in Indonesia Digital Government Systems (IDGS) using Information Technology (IT) Governance indicators states in Indonesian Government regulation. The concept of Indonesia Digital Government regulated by Indonesia Presidential Regulation no. 95 year 2018 that define digital government as a governance that adapting to advances of technology information and communication and utilize optimally so it can provide service to citizen in most efficient and effective way. Indonesia government implement IT Governance using regulation publish by the Minister of State Apparatus and Bureaucracy Reform No. 59 year 2020 about monitoring and evaluation of Indonesia Digital Government System. In the regulation, the governance consists of monitoring, which is a systematic assessment process through verification of information on the results of the Self-Assessment to measure the maturity level of implementation and the evaluation, is a process of self-assessment systematically through verification and clarification of information which can be continued with information validation to the results of the Self-Assessment to measure maturity level of digital government system implementation. The concept of exploiting digital twin concept to Governed IT Management is a framework introduce by Geert Poels, Henderik A. Proper and Dominik Bork in 2021. The Digital Twin concept itself already utilize to do such as monitoring data, data analysis, conduct simulation, and enhances performance of assets. The framework will be use as a technology infrastructure reference model that facilitate Digital Twin in conceptual aspect where process of IT governance, organizational IT assets management and IT management processes, connected.

Abstract

This study analyzes the user experience of a Low Code-based Process Automation Platform to enhance efficiency, productivity, and accuracy in business processes. In this study, an analysis of user experience was carried out using a modified long version of the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), consisting of six scales: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Based on the evaluation of the 26 items from the UEQ, the dependability and novelty scales scored the lowest compared to the other scales. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the aspects related to these two scales in order to enhance the platform's role in improving the holistic user experience of the platform.

Abstract

Smart cities aim to enhance the quality of life for urban dwellers through technological advancements. Machine Learning (ML) plays a crucial role in various domains of Smart X, including education, transportation, healthcare, environment, and living. However, integrating ML into daily life poses challenges. This paper presents a web-based ML application prototype that effectively augments the daily quality of life for communities. It specifically explores the advantages of web-based photography-videography-enabled drones for citizen needs and city inspections. The application utilizes ML to detect anomalies and identify normal objects, addressing the common challenge of distinguishing normalcy from abnormality. Examples include assessing the structural integrity of house components, analyzing medical images, and evaluating the quality of fruits or hydroponic plants. The study employs exploratory and experimental methods, utilizing teachable machine learning and the Python-based Streamlit application. Experimental results demonstrate that web-based photo and video analysis expedites the detection of normal and abnormal images and videos, surpassing the limitations of visual examination with the naked eye. This research contributes to advancing ML applications in smart living for urban communities.

Abstract

Level crossings remain a problem in several cities due to high violations. Currently, surveillance at level crossings is still performed conventionally. Since problems at level crossings are increasingly complex and conventional solutions are no longer effective, an intelligent video surveillance system is necessary. Intelligent video surveillance system implementation is a complex task and requires devices with extensive computing resources. This research aims to optimize the system for processing data in real-time by conducting computation near the data source and dividing computing tasks across several edge devices. This research proposes a solution in the form of an edge computing-based intelligent video surveillance system with a computation offloading method on limited devices. This research has two development stages. The initial stage involved developing an object detection model using a dataset of level crossings in Bandung City. The second stage was developing an edge computing-based system by applying the computation offloading method on limited computing devices. The edge computing method extends cloud computing to the network’s edge, enabling calculations near the data source. Conversely, the computation offloading method improves edge computing performance by dividing computing tasks. Results showed an increase in computing speed of around 1.5 times faster, with a violation detection accuracy rate reaching 89.4%. Additionally, GPU temperature decreased by 5.50 °C, GPU usage decreased by 44.05%, memory usage decreased by 301 Mb, and power consumption decreased by 2.28 W. The system developed is effective and efficient in optimizing the performance of the violation detection system in level crossings on limited computing devices.
