Abstract

This study aims to determine the political communication strategy of the winning team, the strengths and weaknesses as well as the causes of the low vote acquisition of Fachrori-Syafril in the 2020 simultaneous regional elections in Jambi Province. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method which emphasizes the in-depth aspects of a problem. The results of this study indicate that the political communication strategy used by the Fachrori-Syafril winning team still has problems and obstacles that cause the low vote acquisition for candidate pair number 02 Fachrori-Syafril in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in Jambi Province. This is due to limited campaign factors, new people in the political realm, candidate management does not work and the disappointment factor from the community.

Abstract

AbstrakBerdasakan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan peneliti di SMP Negeri 27 Tebo menunjukkan masalah pada penggunaan sumber belajar dengan pendekatan multiliterasi siswa. Masalah yang dimaksud yaitu pada penggunaan sumber belajar untuk mendukung pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pelajaran PPKn, di mana siswa masih berpedoman pada Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan buku paket yang dimiliki siswa dari sekolah, tanpa didukung dengan referensi lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan sumber belajar dengan pendekatan multiliterasi siswa kelas IX-C SMP Negeri 27 Tebo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 27 Tebo pada 07 September s/d 07 November 2020. Informan penelitian ini adalah guru mata Pelajaran PPKn, waka bidang kurikulum, dan siswa kelas IX-C (8 orang). Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data kualitatif yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sumber belajar dengan pendekatan multiliterasi siswa kelas IX-C SMP Negeri 27 Tebo pada mata pelajaran PPKn masih berpedoman pada buku cetak dan LKS dari pemerintah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa Penggunaan sumber belajar dengan pendekatan multiliterasi siswa kelas IX-C SMP Negeri 27 Tebo pada mata pelajaran PPKn belum efektif. Sumber belajar yang digunakan masih berpedoman pada buku cetak dan LKS dari pemerintah.Kata Kunci: Sumber Belajar, Multiliterasi, Pembelajaran PPKn AbstractBased on the results of initial observations made by researchers at SMP Negeri 27 Tebo showed problems in the use of learning resources with a multiliteration approach of students. The problem in question is the use of learning resources to support learning, especially in VAT subjects, where students are still guided by Student Worksheets (LKS) and package books owned by students from school, without being supported by other references. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of learning resources with the multiliteration approach of students of class IX-C of State Junior High School 27 Tebo. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 27 Tebo on September 07 to November 7, 2020. Informants of this study are teachers of PPKn subjects, waka curriculum field, and students of class IX-C (8 people). The method of data collection in this study is qualitative data collection, namely observation, interview, and documentation. This research data analysis technique is qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the use of learning resources with the multiliteration approach of students of class IX-C of State Junior High School 27 Tebo in VAT subjects is still guided by printed books and LKS from the government. The conclusion of this study is that the use of learning resources with the multiliteration approach of students of class IX-C of State Junior High School 27 Tebo on VAT subjects has not been effective. Abstract

AbstrakKekurang tepatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru akan berdampak pada kurang berkembangnya peserta didik. Salah satu faktor penyebab tidak berkembangnya peserta didik adalah metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat.Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan adalah merupakan mata pelajaran wajib yang harus ditempuh oleh peserta didik di mana mata pelajaran tersebut banyak memuat nilai normatif daripada konsep, sehingga pendidik banyak menggunakan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan karena dalam penelitian ini akan mengujicobakan suatu strategi pembelajaran, yaitu strategi pembelajaran inkuiri apakah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran PKn kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. Penelitian akan di awali dengan observasi tentang gambaran aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa, setelah itu dilaksanakan uji coba pemakaian strategi pembelajaran dengan pendekatan inquiri, dengan harapan akan ada peningkatan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dari setiap siklus maka terdapat peningkatan Aktivitas belajar, yang dapat diartikan sebagai bentuk interaksi dalam proses pembelajaran, baik interaksi antara siswa maupun interaksi antara siswa dan guru. Pada prinsipnya belajar adalah berbuat, berbuat untuk mengubah tingkah laku, jadi melakukan kegiatan. Tidak ada belajar kalau tidak ada aktivitas. Pada hasil penelitian dengan judul peningkatan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar pendidikan kewarganegaraan melalui strategi pembelajaran inkuiri ini diperoleh peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas 8.b yang berlangsung dari siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III.Kata Kunci: Aktifitas, Inkuiri, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa kelas r02 prodi PPKn. Model jigsaw ini di pilih sebagai solusi yang ditemukan peneliti di lapangan tentang masih rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar, di lihat dari pembuatan tugas makalah dan tampilah power point presentasi mereka, cara mengajukan dan menjawab pertanyaan, hasil kuis, hasil UTS dan hasil UAS di mata kuliah demokrasi pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, Implementasi Tindakan, Observasi dan Analisis dan Refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara studi dokumentas dan studi literature. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemanfaatan Model Jigsaw pada Mata Kuliah demokrasi Pancasila dapat Meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar Mahasiswa. Presentase siswa dengan kemampuan berfikir kreatif pada siklus I adalah 35,5. Pada siklus II presentasenya naik menjadi 54,8 dan pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan presentase menjadi 87,1. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I presentase di peroleh adalah 34,0. Pada siklus II presentase diperoleh 56,8 dan pada siklus tiga mengalami kenaikan menjadi 78,4.Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning, Jigsaw, Motivasi, Hasil Belajar AbstractThis study aims to increase the motivation and learning outcomes of class r02 students of Civics Study Program. This jigsaw model was chosen as a solution found by researchers in the field regarding the low motivation and learning outcomes, seen from the making of their paper assignments and the appearance of their power point presentations, how to ask and answer questions, quiz results, UTS results and UAS results in courses. Pancasila democracy. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation and analysis and reflection. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, document study and literature study. The results of the study show that the use of the Jigsaw Model in Pancasila democracy courses can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. The percentage of students with creative thinking skills in the first cycle is 35.5. In the second cycle the percentage rose to 54.8 and in the third cycle the percentage increased to 87.1. Meanwhile, for learning outcomes increased in the first cycle, the percentage obtained was 34.0. In the second cycle the percentage was 56.8 and in the third cycle it increased to 78.4.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Jigsaw, Motivation, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Demonstrasi Omnibus Law yang berlangsung tahun 2020 yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa Universitas Jambi.Demonstrasi Omnibus Law yang terjadi tiga kali ini disebabkan pro dan kontra kebijakan pemerintah untuk membuat dan mengesahkan Omnibus Law khususnya pada pasal tentang undang-undang hak cipta yang dinilai merugikan masyarakat khususnya pekerja.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor pendorong mahasiswa Universitas Jambi dalam mengikuti demonstrasi Omnibus Law.Rancangan penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analisis tematik”, “sedangkan informan ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling, informan ditetapkan sebanyak 8 orang.Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi non partisipan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara.Berdasarkan analisis data dengan teknik analisis tematik, ditemukan beberapa faktor yang melatarbelakangi mahasiswa Universitas Jambi mengikuti demonstrasi Omnibus Law, faktor-faktor tersebut adalah emosi, keluhan, mempertahankan sistem ekonomi, sosial, dan politik, keterikatan sosial, identitas, dan kemanjuran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta mendeskripsikan kebiasaaan belajar seperti apa yang dilakukan siswa Padal Mata PelajaranlPendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraanl kelas VIII C SMPl Negeri 19 Kota Jambi Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 di masa pandemi COVID 19.Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara wawancara, obsevasi serta dokumentasi kepada informan yaitu 16 orang siswa kelas VIIIC Sesi belajar A ( sebagai informan utama) dan 1 orang waka kurikulum ( informan kunci ), serta 3 pendidik (sebagai informan pendukung), Setelah data dan informasi di peroleh, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan teknik Reduksil data, Penyajian data, Pengambilanl kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertama pelaksaan pembelajaran jarak jauh pada masa pandemi covid 19 ini di SMP N 19 Kota Jambi ini masih banyaknya peserta didik yang belum bisa beradaptasi dengan baik pada penyelenggaraan pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis daring ini, yang menyebapkan kebiasaan belajar buruk pada peserta didik, dibeberapa peserta didik juga menggambarkan kebiasaan belajar yang baik. Kedua Gaya belajar siswa selama pandemi covid 19 cendrung menuju ke gaya belajar secara visual dan gaya belajar auditori, berdasarkan hasil analisisnya siswa menyukai gaya belajar visual dan auditori ini dimana lebih mudah bagi siswa dalam memahami dengan cara ini. Ketiga durasi belajar pesrta didik rata-rata satu hari adalah 1-3 jam saja. Keempat kendala pelaksaan PJJ daring peserta didik fasilitas dan kelengkapan,koneksi jaringan internet yang kadang tidak stabil, hanphone yang masih berbagi bersama orang tua, bahkan sebuah temuan di lapangan siswa merasakan sakit atau gangguan pada mata karena harus berhadapan dengan hanphone setiap hari, malas megerjakan tugas sekolah, dan tidak paham akan materi pembelajaran. KATA KUNCI : Kebiasaan, Belajar, Pandemi Covid 19 This study aims to find out and describe what learning habits are carried out by students at the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Subject Class VIII C SMPl Negeri 19 Jambi City in the 2021/2022 Academic Year during the COVID 19 pandemic. to informants, namely 16 students of class VIIIC Study session A (as main informants) and 1 waka curriculum (key informants), and 3 educators (as supporting informants), After data and information were obtained, then analyzed qualitatively with data reduction techniques , Presentation of data, Drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the first implementation of distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMP N 19 Jambi City is that there are still many students who have not been able to adapt well to the implementation of online-based distance learning, which causes bad study habits in students, in some areas. students also describe good study habits. Both student learning styles during the covid 19 pandemic tended to be visual and auditory learning styles, based on the results of the analysis students liked this visual and auditory learning style which is easier for students to understand this way. The three durations of student learning on average are 1-3 hours per day. The four obstacles are the implementation of online PJJ for students, facilities and equipment, internet network connections that are sometimes unstable, cellphones that are still shared with parents, even a finding in the field that students feel pain or eye problems because they have to deal with cellphones every day, are lazy to do assignments. school, and do not understand the learning material KEYWORDS: Habits, Learning, Covid 19 Pandemic

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by several obstacles in the implementation of learning, namely the low participation of students, besides the fact that teachers use learning methods commonly applied in the classroom is conventional learning which tends to minimize student involvement and teachers are more active. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that in the process of implementing the Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model in Civics subjects, student participation increased. This success criterion is 75% or more of the 100% percentage range. This success can be proven in the first cycle before the application of the Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning Model, the student participation was only at 45.9% in the low category, after applying the model at the end of the first cycle the percentage of students increased to 60.5% in the sufficient category. In the second cycle the percentage of student participation increased again to 65.8% in the good category, but had not reached the desired target and in the third cycle the student participation increased from the second cycle, which was 79.1% in the good category.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship between understanding the values ​​of God Almighty and the religious attitudes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Jambi City. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using the correlational method carried out at SMP Negeri 17 Jambi City in class VIII students with a sample of 61 people. The data in this study were collected through a questionnaire, processed by a simple correlation test using a t-test with Microsoft Excel 2010 and SPSS version 24. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a relationship between understanding the values ​​of the One Supreme God and religious attitudes. Calculation of the coefficient r_xy calculate the correlation value of 0.437 or in the moderate category and the t-test is significant, the value is t_count = 3.728 > t_table = 1.670. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the data on understanding the values ​​of the Almighty God and the religious attitudes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Jambi City.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the massive use of social media, especially Instagram among students of the Jambi University Civics Study Program, moreover, Instagram social media is used as a source of political information, especially during the 2019 Presidential Election. The purpose of this research is to test whether there is an influence between communication Political participation through social media Instagram on the level of political participation of students from the Civics Education Study Program at the University of Jambi in the 2019 Presidential Election. This research is an Ex Post Facto study with a quantitative approach which is generally carried out in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education study program at the University of Jambi. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire (questionnaire). Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out using a simple linear regression model with the help of the SPSS version 24 application, it is evident that the variable of political communication through social media Instagram (X) has a significant influence on political participation (Y). The magnitude of the influence between variables in the analysis of political communication through Instagram social media on political participation can be seen from the coefficient of determination R² which is 0.409 meaning that the effective contribution given by political communication through Instagram social media to political participation is 40.9% while the remaining 59.1% is a contribution from other variables outside of the variables studied by researchers.

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the study are the description of the honesty attitude of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City can be said to be still low. Based on research findings from researcher interviews, not all students are able to apply the value of honesty in Civics learning. It can be seen from the daily tests that many students cheat, and when online, students do assignments and tests and tests at home, it is not necessarily the student who actually does it if it is reflected by the behavior of students at school before going online where when the teacher is off guard they cheat on each other. The conclusion of this study is that if you look at the learning outcomes, from online learning due to the covid-19 pandemic, student learning outcomes are still low, but after students do remedial, student scores can reach the KKM, and add the value of the assignment. However, if the test scores or exam results, on average, there are still many who are below the KKM. This is based on a clarification from a PPKn teacher at SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City. Because there are still many who are below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), so teachers need to add value from assignments, and teachers give tolerance to students, due to the Covid-19 pandemic obstacles that have not been completed during the class promotion exam.
