Abstract

ABSTRACK The purpose of this study is to find out how the leadership communication in addressing employee conflict in the planning and finance of regional office VI State Personnel Board Medan. Conflict is an aspect that can not be avoided and to overcome it required good communication. The research is qualitative research using interview and literature method. Communication indicators for effective understanding, pleasure, influence on attitudes, and better relationships. The results of the research that has been done is good enough and the conflicts that exist in the Planning and Finance Division of Regional Office VI Badan Kepegawaian Negara Medan is not much.  Keywords: Communication, Conflict and leadership

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul Efektivitas Komunikasi Sekretaris Dalam Membantu Pimpinan Di PT. PLN Rayon Medan Baru, bertujuan untuk mengetahui  bagaimana efektivitas komunikasi yang dilakukan sekretaris dalam membantu  pimpinan. Komunikasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjalin kerjasama antar manusia dalam sebuah perusahaan dan sangat berpengaruh dalam proses mencapai tujuan. Metode yang digunakan merupakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan penulis adalah metode analisis data non statistic, yang tidak menggunakan rumus-rumus statistik untuk menganalisa data dimana data ini hanya dengan mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan data yang telah terkumpul sebagaimana mestinya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah peran sekretaris dalam membantu pimpinan adalah sebagai penghubung dalam menyampaikan segala informasi yang diberikan oleh pimpinan baik berupa arahan, maupun pemberitahuan mengenai tugas dan tanggungjawab kepada seluruh karyawan pada PT. PLN Rayon Medan Baru. Komunikasi antara pimpinan dan sekretaris dapat berjalan dengan baik dengan memperhatikan beberapa unsur, diantaranya adalah kejelasan informasi, keseimbangan informasi serta pelaksanaan dan keseragaman dalam penggunaan istilah-istilah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dibuat bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Politeknik Unggul LP3M Medan. Peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan metode kuntitatif, yaitu mendiskripsikan apa yang diperoleh dari lapangan. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dan kepustakaan yakni mencari informasi atau bahan yang diperoleh dari buku-buku kepustakaan dan jurnal. Hasil dalam penelitian ini Secara parsial (satu-persatu) didapat pengaruh dari variabel motivasi (X1) berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) dimana variabel motivasi nilai thitung sebesar 1,819 dari nilai ttable sebesar 2.018. Secara parsial (satu-persatu) didapat pengaruh dari variabel disiplin kerja (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) dimana variabel disiplin kerja nilai thitung sebesar 4,969 dari nilai ttable sebesar 2.018. Secara keseluruhan (simultan) didapat pengaruh dari variabel motivasi (X1), dan disiplin kerja (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) karena nilai Fhitung 66,987> Ftabel 3,22.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze strategies to face hotel competition in the new normal Covid-19 era at Sinabung Hills Berastagi Hotel and to determine the extent to which the strategy carried out by the management has an impact on the company. The research method used in this study is descriptive/qualitative techniques that describe the description of promotional data conducted by Sinabung Hills Berastagi Hotel during the new normal, using observation guidelines, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that Sinabung Hills Berastagi Hotel conducted a strategy to reduce operational expenditure and also provide discounted promos to attract customers. Promotional Media used are email, Whatsapp, and also online ordering applications. From the promotional media used, online booking applications show more of a good impact on the company.

Abstract

The Belawan Main Kesyahbandaran Office is a Technical Implementation Unit under the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Ministry of Transportation which has duties in accordance with the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number PM 34 of 2012 concerning Organization and Work Procedures of the Belawan Main Kesyahbandaran Office which has the task of carrying out supervision and law enforcement in the field of shipping safety and security, as well as coordinating government activities at the port. In this study the authors analyzed the Leave Submission Procedure at the Belawan Main Kesyahbandaran Office directly, using several methods to obtain data from the office such as conducting interviews and observations. In taking leave, employees of the Belawan Main Kesyahbandaran Office must comply with the applicable flow or procedure and also the Operational Standards. In addition, there are also several obstacles in applying for employee leave which can cause leave applications not to be ACC by superiors / leaders

Abstract

MSME is a sector that must be of concern to the Republic of Indonesia because it has an important role in the economy of the Indonesian people, one of which is being able to create jobs and increase people's income. Seeing the important role of MSMEs, it is necessary to conduct training to help MSMEs overcome various existing problems from all aspects. One thing that can be done is the Community Service Training (PKM) activity entitled 'Increasing MSME Productivity Through Reseller Empowerment at PT. Keloria Moringa Jaya' where the participants in this activity consisted of MSME actors and workers at PT Keloria Moringa Jaya. The methods given are presentations, discussions, case studies, and final evaluations. This activity aims to provide increased knowledge in increasing productivity by empowering resellers to increase their sales and will increase their income. The results of this activity concluded that this activity really helped participants in increasing their understanding and awareness of reseller empowerment.
