Abstract

ABSTRACT The computer network is a collection of computers that are connected to each other and work automatically . It can affect the stability of the internet connection that is the amount of bandwidth used and how effective the network bandwidth can be utilized . Bandwidth is a measure of the amount of information that can flow from one place to another within a certain time. Delay pools allows the administrator to limit bandwidth usage can be used by the user and also limit the bandwidth that can be used by a particular file type . One type of method of managing bandwidth using squid . Squid is a caching application GPL ( GNU Public License ) and an implementation of a proxy server that can store objects in the cache . Delay Pools is an innate feature of squid that are used to perform bandwidth management. In this system of testing , including testing includes downloads , uploads , content - filtering and blocking adult content social media during work hours . In testing the download and upload can be seen that the system is able to divide bandwidth fairly to all users . To test the content filtering system using two methods, namely filtering with delay pools and the DNS Nawala . Then the system is also blocking social media access during business hours so that the learning process can proceed smoothly . Keywords : computer networks , bandwidth , squid , delay pools , DNS Nawala

Abstract

ABSTRACTNetwork Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) to access the internet is very much healthy ni installed in offices and at other public places. In some offices that do not have internet security so employees can easily access sites that are not appropriate and can lead to decreased performance of the employee. Therefore, in Education, Youth and Sports Office will be using a healthy method by using multiple Internet applications that is Internet security and DNS Nawala Squid proxy server is implemented. The results of this study will generate healthy netode internet by blocking sites that are considered negative. This method is expected to make a wireless network in Education, Youth and Sports Office to avoid interference that can impair quality sites Internet users.Keywords : Proxy Server, Education, Youth and Sports Office and the Internet Healthy

Abstract

This paper aims to observe symbolic violence towards women which can be seen in children advertisements on television. This symbolic violence is a smooth way to dominate, and it cannot be known or recognized. So, it is called misrecognition domination which is introduced socially. The research method is done by analyzing the contents of children TV advertisements during April 2012. The result shows that there is a strong confirmation of gender roles stereotip for women and men in children advertisements. Female figures in children advertisement are placed in social roles as wives, housewives, or prospective wives and housewives with domestic activity. Social position which is performed by female figures includes jobs or prospective jobs which are associated with a secretary, a kindergarten teacher, singer, painter, or a model. Then the personal traits which are attached to the female figures are gentle, helpful, affectionate, shy, sensitive, smart, jealous, caring for beauty and appearance, attentive, creative and love competition. On the other hand, male figures in children advertisements are described as having social roles as fathers and the leaders of family. The social position is described as the family breadwinners. Conclusion: There is still a lot of symbolic violence in children television advertisements. Keywords: symbolic violence, children advertisements, media representation

Abstract

SCIENTIFIC ARGUMENTATION AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS TROUGH DEBATE METHODS AbstractLack of self-confidence and weak student reasoning in biology learning are related to scientific argumentation skills and critical thinking skills. This study aims to examine scientific argumentation and critical thinking skills of class X students in MAN 1 Natuna through debate methods on biodiversity material. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. Assessment of scientific argumentation and critical thinking was done oral and written. Scientific argumentation skills refer to Toulmin's Argument Pattern (TAP) and critical thinking skills are categorized in Strong, Acceptable, Unacceptable, & Weak. The results showed that student' scientific argumentation skills were at levels 2, 3, and 4. None of the students were at levels 1 and 5. Students' critical thinking skills were in the Unacceptable (62.06%) and Acceptable (37.94% ) category. Scientific arguments and critical thinking of class X students at MAN 1 Natuna are low. AbstrakKurangnya kepercayaan diri serta lemahnya penalaran siswa pada pembelajaran biologi berkaitan dengan keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X di MAN 1 Natuna melalui metode debat pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penilaian keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah dan berpikir kritis  dilakukan secara lisan & tulisan. Keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah siswa mengacu pada Toulmin’s Argument Pattern (TAP), sedangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dikategorikan dalam Strong, Acceptable, Unacceptable, & Weak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah siswa berada pada level 2, 3, dan 4. Tidak ada satupun siswa yang berada pada level 1 dan 5. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada kategori Unacceptable (62.06%) dan Acceptable (37.94%). Argumentasi ilmiah dan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X di MAN 1 Natuna tergolong masih rendah.

Abstract

Sarapan sangat penting dalam menunjang aktivitas fisik seseorang sebelum memulai kegiatan. Begitupula sebelumproses belajar mengajar, agar otak dapat konsentrasi dan menyerap pelajaran yang diberikan. Kegiatan sosialisasisarapan itu penting dilaksanakan di SDN I Pademangan Timur Jakarta Utara pada Rabu, 9 Mei 2018. Pemilihantarget sekolah karena jam belajar mengajar dimulai pada pukul 06.30 pagi dimana biasanya orang memulai sarapandi jam tersebut. Target sasaran adalah Anak-anak murid kelas II Sekolah dasar dikarenakan sarapan itu pentinguntuk dimulai dibiasakan dari usia dini. Tanpa disadari, sarapan sangat penting bukan hanya untuk kebutuhan fisiktetapi juga mental, dimana sarapan dilakukan bersama keluarga maka akan terjalin komunikasi yang baikuntukmemulai kegiatan yang baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran kepemimpinan perempuan dalam jabatan publik pada kepemimpinan ibu kepala Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Bima. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri atas observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisa data model interaktif yang terdiri dari dari tiga hal utama, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran kepemimpinan perempuan pada Madrasah Iptidaiyah Negeri 2 Bima telah hadir sebagai fasilitator, artikulator, dan motivator. Peran-peran tersebut telah terlaksana dengan baik didorong komunikasi internal yang baik dengan seluruh elemen yang ada di sekolah. Selain itu juga didukung oleh sikap integritas yang tinggi, dan profesionalisme yang dimiliki oleh kepala sekolah dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Demikian juga secara eksternal, dimana bangunan komunikasi dan kerjasama yang baik antar lembaga telah terjalin dengan baik. Selain adanya upaya partsisipasi dalam setiap kegiatan sosial kemasyarakatan, dan kepedulian terhadap setiap persoalan yang ada disekitar juga semakin menujukkan keberhasilan kemampuan kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah Iptidaiyah Negeri 2 Bima.
