Abstract

Background of study: workng stress is part of nursing activities. This was caused by many things, and one of them is high working time. It makes the differences to the working performance. One way to overcome this matter is providing music therapy.Aim of the research: to observe the effectiveness of music therapy to the reduction of working strees in Emergency department RSUD Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga.Method: this research applied pre experimental design through one group pretest-post test method. Total sampling was used as a sampling technique consisted of 23 people. For analyzing the data, the researcher run paired simple t test. Research result: there was significant difference to the nursing before and after getting classic musical, with the mean before getting treatment was 33 and SD= 6.749 and with the mean 28.35 and SD= 6.642 after getting treatment. With p value = 0.000 and α= 0.05Conclusion: music therapy was effective method to reduce working stress in emergency department RSUD Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata with size effect= 5.594.Keywords: classic music therapy, working stress, nurse.

Abstract

Background: the increase of aggressive behavior among the adolescents recently has put a big concern to  all parties. This should lead to an improvement of family role to them. The young with a settled self-conception will be able to anticipate the changes and the problems they face in life. For others, the problems can trigger a bad behavior. The mismatch of personality and self-conception is one of the factors to lead into an aggressive behavior. Objective: the study is to find out the relation between the role of the family and the self-conception and the adolescent’s aggressive behavior among the students at a vocational school of SMK Kesatrian Purwokerto.Method: the design of the research adopted an analytical descriptive with a cross-sectional method. The population was all the students at the school. The sample was 91 students selected proportional random sampling. The variables included family role, self-conception, and the adolescents’ aggressive behavior which were obtained from the questionnaire. The data were then analyzed through chi square at the significance level of 5% (0.05).Results: the result of statistical test indicates a value of p_value 0,00 (< 0,05) which means that there is a relation between the role of family and self-conception and the adolescents’ aggressive behavior. Conclusion: there is a relation between the role of family and self-conception and the adolescents’ aggressivebehavior.

Abstract

Nursing students learning experiences during the education does not automatically make the graduate nurses beginner ornovice to master knowledge and skills needed in the hospital. Hospitals need nurses who are competent to ensure theservices provided to patients is safe, fast, accurate and accountable. World health requires innovative learning programsthat can bridge the gap between theory and practice and be able to assist novice nurses achieve a competent level.Interactive tutorial learning with a computer program can be used as an alternative method of learning for novice nurses.This program can be integrated with the network of existing information systems in hospitals so that every nurse can easilyaccess the facility. This article is a review journal of the implementation of the use of computer technology in the UnitedStates to guide novice nurses in providing health services in hospitals.Keywords: Novice nurses, interactive tutorial learning, health information.

Abstract

Background: nurse organization commitmen is the attitude or loyalty to the hospital nurses indicated a desire  to remain / serve in hospitals and loves his job. When a nurse has had a high commitment to the organization will foster a professional work situation. Steeper low levels of organizational commitment can be influenced by nurses personal factors, and hospital management systems.Objective: To determine the relationship of organizational culture and job satisfaction with organizational commitment on hospital nurses dr. R Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga.Methods: Description of correlation with cross sectional approach. Samples were taken from rooms nurse in the district general hospital dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata who already have at least 1 year working period. With a total population of 111 and samples used 87 nurses. Sampling techniques using sampling proportions.Results: The results showed that organizational culture and job satisfaction have a significant relationship with organizational commitment of nurses.Conclusion: There is a relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction with organizational commitment nurses at the hospital dr. Abstract

Background: Fatigue is a condition that work is characterized by a decrease in alertness, decreased reactionspeed, in addition to the feeling of fatigue on the job.Objective: To determine the relationship between shift scheduling, workload and fatigue manageman timewith nurses working in hospitals in the area Banyumas.Methods: The study design was a descriptive correlation using cross sectional approach. The study populationwas all nurses who were in the ICU (16 nurses), ER (20 nurses), HCU (12 nurses) and Perinatology (16 nurses)in Banyumas District General Hospital by 64 nurses. Sampling technique in this study using the technique ofsampling by 64 respondents in total.Results: There were significant associations between shift work scheduling (p value 0.003), workload (p value0.000) and time management (p value 0.001) and fatigue in nurses working in hospitals Banyumas space withvalue.Conclusion: No significant association between shift work scheduling, workload management and time tofatigue in nurses working in hospitals Banyumas space with value.Keywords: Job Sift, Workload, Scheduling Time Management, Fatigue Work

Abstract

Caring environment for providing service in the emergency departmentof the hospital becomes the need of the society. Caring environment has impact on the satisfaction, safety, and potential success of the services for the patients. The research aims at identifying the perception of society on caring environment as well as confirming the model of caring environment for providing emergency service in the hospital. This research employs descriptive exploration, involving 300 patients of emergency department from three hospitals in Banyumas. The analysis of decriptive data is conducted to categorize the perception of society on caring environment. The construct validity of caring environment is tested using confirmatory factor analysis. The result shows that the perceptions of society on caring environment in emergency department are good (86.3%) and fair (13,7 %). As the construct used to shape the model of caring environment has met the criteria of goodness of fit, involving: GFI; 0.96, RMSEA; 0.031, AGFI; 0,94; NFI;0,98; CFI;1, so it is revealed that the measurement model of caring environment for providing emergency service is fit. Moreover, all indicators are able to explain and support the model of caring environment for providing emergency services, involves; clean and comfortable room, complete facilities and equipments, and room safety. This finding could be the foundation for formulating the policy of caring quality improvement related to the aspect of caring environment for providing emergency services.

Abstract

INFORMASIABSTRACTKorespondensi:Injeso@yahoo.com        Keywords:bullying, social interaction, behaviour skill, trainingObjective: Identifying the effect of behaviour skill training on the social interaction of bullying victims in SMPN 1 Kaligondang, Purbalingga Regency Method: This research is quantitative research of pre-experimental design (one group pre-test post-test design). The sample consists of 30 bullying victim students in SMPN 1 Kaligondang taken through total sampling. The research instruments are olweus bully/victim revised questionnaire and social interaction ability questionnaire with the test of paired sample t-testResults: Most of the respondents are male, 16 respondents, (53.3%) and 14 respondents are female (46.7%) with the age of 12-15 years old. There are 12 respondents in grade 7 (40%) and 9 respondents in grade 8 and 9 respondents in grade 9 (30%). The average scores of pre-test and post-test are 86.63 and 104.07. Moreover, the result of Sig. (2 tailed) p-value is (0.000 0.05).Conclusion: There is significant difference between the result of pre-test and post-test. Moreover, it is found that there is an effect of behaviour skill training on the social interaction of bullying victims

Abstract

Background: Health education aims to change people's unhealthy behaviour to healthy behaviour. Act No. 36 of 2009 stated that health is human rights and one of the well-being elements which must be realized in accordance with the ideals of the nation. Nurses in Puskesmas are considered agents of change of peoples health level.Thus, they play an important role in providing health education. There are several factors affecting nurses performance in providing health education to either patients or patients family and the people in their working area.Objective: This research aims to identify factors affecting nurses' performance in providing health education. Method: This research is a qualitative research using phenomenological study approach. There are 7 nurses as the research sample. The sampling is purposive sampling, in which the size of individual key person or participant has been determined before the data collection. The sample size is determined based on the saturation theory.Result: The research result shows that the effect of external motivation factor is more dominant in providing health education. The participants workload does not increase by providing health education. Meanwhile, compensation does not fully affect in providing health education.Conclusion: Factors of motivation and compensation affect the nurses' performance while the factor of workload does not affect the nurses' performance in providing health education.

Abstract

Hospital as a health care facility seeks to create quality health care, affordable and increase patient satisfaction. This study aims to identify satisfaction (assessment) to community health services on the installation of inpatient, outpatient, radiology, pharmacy and laboratory at a private hospital in Noida covering 14 elements of the service. The study design was descriptive survey techniques involving 120 respondents consisted of patients and former patients of the hospital taken by proportional random sampling technique. Analysis using the method of service performance in order to obtain the results of the research community satisfaction index (HPI) for the installation service inpatient, outpatient, radiology, laboratory and pharmacy are B (Good). Discipline of officers and timeliness into aspects that have the highest scores in five areas of the hospital services. There IKM components with sufficient predicate, ie courtesy and hospitality registration officer. There are no components that are predicated A or very good. It is suggested that these findings into consideration manajmen hospitals in improving quality of care, especially in the process of acceptance or enrollment of patients.

Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to determine the correlation between therapeutic communication and nurse service quality with preoperative patient anxiety in RSUD dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga. Method: The study was a quantitative descriptive study with cross-sectional method. The samples were preoperative patients who experienced anxiety in the surgical inpatient room with a total of 90 respondents. The samples were collected by using purposive sampling technique. There were three different types of questionnaires as the instruments of the study namely therapeutic communication questionnaire, nurse service quality questionnaire, and HARS questionnaire. Chi square statistical test was used to analyze the data. Results: The results of the analysis of the correlation between nurses therapeutic communication and preoperative patient anxiety obtained p-value of 0,000. It can be interpreted that p-value of a = 0.05. While the results of the analysis of the relationship between nurse service quality and preoperative patient anxiety obtained p-value of 0,000. It can be interpreted that p-value of a = 0.05. Conclusion: There is a correlation between nurse therapeutic communications and preoperative patient anxiety and there is a correlation between qualities of nurse services and preoperative patient anxiety in RSUD dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga.
