Abstract

Abstract The research aims to get an innovative chemistry teaching module on chemical formula and chemical equilibrium for X grade SMA  to improve student learning outcomes. This research conduct in some senior high school (SMA) in North Sumatera whose devide in two class, those  experiment and control class. This R&D type modifies from Borg&Gall theory, and some textbook contain this subject has been analyzing using BSNP criteria. The composed innovative teaching module trial on classroom by quasy-experiment methods. The experiment class taught using innovative teaching module and control class using textbook. The results showed that (1) Some chemistry textbook contain this subject which produced by some publisher has good quality but there are some sequences material and teaching strategy will be addition to completely them. (2) We have get a composing innovative teaching module on chemical formula and chemical equilibrium for X grade SMA on chemical formula and chemical equilibrium with combine PBL teaching model. This module have been standardization and fully criteria of BSNP. (3) There is a significant increasing of chemistry student learning outcomes using this innovative module on teaching classroom Keywords : development innovative teaching module; PBL model; learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to (1) Analyze the chemistry handbooks used in the vocational school of Pharmacy in North Sumatra, (2) Develop a sequence of chemical material suitable to grade X semester I and systematically according to KTSP of Pharmacy Vocational School, (3) Knowing what chemical materials worth and the right to be taught in Pharmacy vocational school grade X semester I so that learning is more systematic and easily understood by BSNP students in learning, (4) Developing the chemistry handbook for grade X semester I Pharmacy Vocational School appropriate with KTSP, and (5) Knowing the opinion of teachers of chemistry at Pharmacy Vocational School on the development of standard chemistry handbook of grade X semester I. Sample in this study are two publishers of chemistry handbooks used in grade X  semester I of the most widely used in Pharmacy Vocational School in North Sumatera, has graduated from the book center, and marketed nationally and four vocational school chemistry teacher used grade X Pharmaceuticals as a respondent and has teaching experience in grade X Pharmacy Vocational School for a minimum of two years and a minimum education is bachelor degree (S1). This is a research development using qualitative data described by using the time sentence by emphasizing the documentary technique. This research instrument is a questionnaire with a book containing sheets of the feasibility of the indicators derived from the assessment of National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) in 2006, later identified occurrence for each book. Furthermore it is developing chemistry handbook for grade X semester I Pharmaceuticals appropriate vocational curriculum, which will be assessed by the respondent chemistry teachers of Pharmacy Vocational School. The assessment results of validation between the average range to determine whether or not worthy of the book used in grade X semester I of Pharmacy Vocational School. The results of the feasibility analysis of the contents of the handbooks most widely used chemical in the first semester of the grade X is obtained percentage Pharmacy Vocational School: books A, and B are, respectively 51.89% and 76.01%. Validation range obtained in the proposed grade X semester I of chemical materials Pharmacy Vocational School is 3.6 means that the proposal put forward appropriate materials are used in the development of chemistry handbooks for grade X semester I Pharmacy Vocational School. Assessment chemistry handbook for grade X semester I Pharmacy Vocational School on the feasibility of content, language, and presentation by chemistry teacher of Pharmacy Vocational School respondents obtained an average yield of the range of validation in order are 3,31; 3,52, and 3,51. Validation of the overall range obtained from the four respondents chemistry teacher of Pharmacy Vocational School is 3.45, this means that the Chemistry Handbook for Grade X Semester I Pharmacy Vocational School According With KTSP is valid and does not need to be revised again and have been feasible to use in chemistry learning in Pharmacy Vocational School.Keywords: Chemistry Handbook, Pharmacy Vocational School, Analysis, Development, KTSP

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine: 1). The learning outcomes differences between  students who learned with an integrated model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Internet media and Internet media integrated Direct Instruction (DI) and Direct Instruction (DI) learning. 2) The difference of character values of tolerance, communicative, confidence, respect democratic achievements and spreading among the students who learned with an integrated model of PBL and the Internet media DI teaching model integrated Internet media as well as the DI teaching model. 3) There is an interaction between the characters tolerant, communicative, confidence, appreciate spreading democratic achievements and the learning outcomes of students who learned with an integrated model of PBL and the Internet media DI teaching model integrated Internet media as well as the DI teaching model. 4) what cognitive domains spreading the students who learned with an integrated model of PBL and the Internet media DI teaching model integrated Internet media as well as the DI teaching model. The sample in this study consisted of three experimental class. Before the first treatment that has been done in the pre-test validation by a team of experts. Student learning outcomes measured by achievement test instrument using the normalized gain, while for the characters used questionnaires and observation. The analysis technique used Anacova significant at α 0,0. The hypothesis was tested using univariate general linear models. The results showed that there were significant differences in learning outcomes of students who received learning PBL model with an integrated internet and integrated Internet Direct Instruction and Direct Instruction Model .2. There are differences in character values of tolerance, communicative, confident, achievement and respect democratic spreading among the students who learned with an integrated model of PBL Internet and DI model of integrated Internet and DI. Abstract

Abstract-This research aimed to obtain Basic Chemistry I Practical Guidance Integrated Approach Inquiry that is easily understood and fit for use in Universitas Muhammaditah Tapanuli Selatan (UMTS) Padangsidimpuan. The method used is research and development (research and development) that is limited to the development, validation and testing of the product. Guidance lab developed based syntax inquiry approach. The instruments used were a questionnaire validation, observation sheets affective and psychomotor assessment. As a sample is student of chemical education at UMTS taken by purposive sampling. Guidance has been prepared  validated by lecturers that have a minimum educational S2. Lecturer validation results against from  24 aspects assessed gained an average of 3.88, which means that the basic chemistry lab guide I used an integrated approach worthy of inquiry. Results limited trial gained an average of 69.31 pretest and post-test average of 82.73 and a score gain of 0.43 which means that the basic chemistry lab guide I can improve student learning outcomes. Results of the assessment of affective students gained an average of 2.5 and the assessment of psychomotor students gained an average of 2.34, which means that the value of affective and psychomotor student are good. The results of this study indicate that the basic chemistry lab guides I in UMTS is not accordance with the syllabus. Retrieved the guiding basic chemistry I that integrated guidance lab inquiry in accordance with the syllabus and fit for use. Guidance basic chemistry lab inquiry I integrated approach can improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh suatu model pembelajaran kimia yang mampu mengembangkan karakter jujur, berpikir kritis, mandiri, disiplin dan bertanggungjawab (“jubermadita”) siswa SMA melalui integrasi media internet kedalam problem base learning, serta mengetahui bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan, dilakukan penelitian eksperimen semu melibatkan 3 kelas eksperimen yaitu   model pembelajaran Net-PBL, model pembelajaran Net-DI, model pembelajaran DI. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrument test dan nontest yang sudah divalidasi terlebih dahulu. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik menggunakan Anacova pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan General Linier Model Univariate dengan program SPSS 19. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Telah diperoleh model pembelajaran kimia yang mampu mengembangkan karakter jujur, berpikir kritis, mandiri, disiplin dan bertanggungjawab ‘jubermadita” siswa SMA yang dinamakan model Net-BL, (2) Terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Net-PBL dan model pembelajaran Net-DI serta model pembelajaran langsung (DI).  (F=1,103, P=0,333>0,05)., (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan nilai karakter jubermadita yang terkembang antara siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Net-PBL dan model pembelajaran Net-DI serta model pembelajaran DI. (4) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan nilai  karakter jubermadita  terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan   model pembelajaran Net-PBL, model pembelajaran Net-DI, model pembelajaran DIKata Kunci: PBL, Media Internet, Kejujuran, Berfikir Kritis, Mandiri, Disiplin, Tanggung Jawab dan Hasil Belajr.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze (1) Differences in chemistry learning outcome of students who got a learning model of Direct Instruction (DI), Problem Based Learning (PBL) Integrated Guided Inquiry (GI), and Problem Based Learning (PBL) Integrated Guided Inquiry (GI) using a computer-based media. This research is experimental. The population is all high school students of class XI in the city of Medan in Academic Year 2013/2014. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling, namely SMAN 4, SMAN 14 and SMAN 21 Medan respectively of 3 classes. The research instrument in the form of test results to learn chemistry and observation sheet student character. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of variance (ANOVA) one direction (one way ANOVA) with SPSS 20 for windows at significance level α = 0.05. Abstract

Abstract- This research is a development that aims to develop guiding chemistry lab contextually based integrated character values, knowing improving student learning outcomes in terms of cognitive and determine student learning outcomes in terms of affective and psychomotor using guiding chemistry laboratory that has been developed , The study was conducted in Cahaya Medan high school. Samples are two classes were taken by purposive sumpling using PPKBK experimental class I and class II experiment using PP available in school study instrument is a rubric validation, test and observation sheet. Research began on analytical chemistry lab at the school guidance, development, validation, revision and test laboratory guides that have been developed. The product of research is (1) based on the analysis of chemical PP book in colloidal system materials publisher grants, Pudak Scientific, Duta Nusantara and Laskar Aksara is not in accordance with BSNP, (2) based PPKBK BSNP integrated character values is more valid than the PP chemicals used in schools, 93) there is a difference in improving student learning outcomes in terms of cognitive, that learned to use the integrated PPKBK character values of 0.73, while that learned with chemicals used PP 0,63 school, (4) there are differences in student learning outcomes in terms of psychomotor aspect that learned to use PPKBK integrated character values at 91 and that learned with PP chemicals used school at 85, while in terms of affective aspects that learned to use PPKBK integrated character values of 92 and PP with chemicals schools at 81.
