Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the increase in students learning outcomes that learned using problem based learning models using media exe learning on hydrocarbon material and correlation between the contribution of teamwork activies to improve student learning outcomes. The population all students of class X SMA Negeri 11 Medan with 8 classes. The sample taken two classes namely one class as the experimental class I who got teaching model of problem based learning using media exe learning and the  experimental class II who got teaching model of problem-based learning without media exe learning. In this study used test instrument and non-test instrumen. The test instrument that used 16 valid questions with the realibility of 0.85. The non-test instrument is used in the form of attitudes observasion sheet with indicator includes participation in learning, involvement and help peers. Based on the hypothesis test with significance level of 0.05 was tcount(4,285) > ttable(1,668). This mean Ha accepted and Ho rejected which showed an increase in student learning outcomes in the eksperimental class I higer than the eksperimental class II. Then the correlation test results indicating a positive correlation between the students teamwork activities with improving student learning outcomes that rcount(0,681) > rtable(0,320) with a coefficient of contribution 46.37%. Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to obtain an character base-innovative teaching module on teaching atomic structure and periodical table of element contain character base education. This type of research is a research and development modified from Borg-Gall methods. The 20 teachers chemistry of X grade class of SMA (senior high school) used as samples  or responden to analysing chemistry textbook produced by two publisher using BSNP (National Education Standards Agency) instrument standard. The results show that both of textbook contain atomic structure and periodical table of element have good quality but it possible to developed to get an innovative teaching module which revise in subject matter sequences and teaching strategy. The innovative teaching module received had been fully BSNP standard, quite valid,  feasible and does not need to be revised. From trial using quasy experiment methods show that student outcomes  thought using innovative teaching module (average 88.5) higher than control class (average 80.75). Abstract

Abstract : The Combination Development Model of Problem Based Learning and Guided Inquiry Lesson In Chemistry Solution In high school Class XI To Improve The Results of Chemistry Learning and Value of Character Students. This study aims to analyzed the difference of chemical enhancement of learning outcomes and character KKPGR and the relationship between character and chemical students outcomes of students who were taught significantly between Direct Instruction model, Problem Based Learning and Guided Inquiry, and Problem Based Learning and Guided Inquiry with computers, This studied was experimental. Sampling technique used purposive sampling , that was SMAN 2, SMAN 7 and SMAN 17 Medan respectively 3 classes. Based on the results of data processing, it was concluded Significantly there were differences in learning outcomes, character values and there is a relationship with the learning outcomes of the character values between students who were taught chemistry by learning model of Direct Instruction compared with the model of Problem Based Learning as compared with the integrated Guided Inquiry model of Problem Based Learning is integrated guided inquiry using computer.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Guided Inquiry and Direct Instrusction
