Abstract

AbstractObesity is a global epidemiology and serious healthy treat due to morbidity and mortality raised. On the whole of the adult population in the world get obese 7.7% in men and 11.9% in women. Adipose tissue accumulates on obesity functioning as endocrine gland secrets all sitokin and peptide hormones. The secretion of those sitokin and hormones play role in controlling body weight balancing and energy metabolism. Resistin an adipositokin (adipokin) secreted by  adiposit that assumes to have important role as circuit between adiposity and insulin resistance. Physical exercises could influence resistin levels and blood sugar on obesity. This research aims to identify the influence of physical exercises ((healthy heart gym) of resistin and blood sugar levels on obesity. The design of this research uses purposive sampling. The subject of the study 25 female students of 18-21 years of age of Poltekkes Nutrition Department Kemenkes Aceh. Gymnastic exercise program done with a healthy heart with a frequency of 5 times a week for 4 weeks with intensity 30 minutes. The result of pre and post resistin levels checked is analyzed both descriptively and inferentially by t test and correlation (moment/pearson).   The result of t test of and correlation found that; there is no influence physical exercises toward resistin levels at the people with obesity (p= 0, 45), there is influence physical exercises (healthy heart gym) toward blood sugar levels of the people with obesity. (p=0, 03), there is no significant influences between resistin levels and blood sugar levels of the people with obesity in pre and posttest (p=0, 26). Based on the finding above, we may conclude that the physical exercises (healthy heart gym) influences toward blood sugar levels, but it doesn’t toward resistin levels.Keywords : Obesity, Resistin, blood sugar levels, physical exercises (healthy heart gym)

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to obtain an innovative student worksheet (LKS) on Redox reaction and its influence on learning outcomes, affective and psychomotor attitudes of high school students. To achieve the objectives, conducted quasi-experimental research which starts from the assessment of some chemical LKS redox which  used in high school students of MIA of X class, compile worksheets based innovative PBL, standardize, and limited test. There are two types of instruments in this research instrument a questionnaire BSNP non test and test instrument in the form of a multiple choice test is valid. The results obtained from this study: (1). Student worksheet (LKS) redox developed already meet the standards set by the National Education Standards Beureau. (2) The results of the student learning outcomes of senior high school students that learned using innovative worksheets on the redox reaction is higher than using an existing worksheet. (3). Affective percentage of students that learned using innovative worksheets on the redox reaction is higher than using existing worksheets. (4). Psychomotor percentage of students that learned using innovative worksheets on the material and the redox reaction is higher than using existing worksheets. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the optimum conditions of coconut milk  to produce Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) through  combination of fermentation and enzymatic techniques. Technique is performed using a combination of the addition of yeast with a fixed concentration of 0.5 gram and pineapple extract (crude bromelain enzyme) with various concentration of 6 mL; 8 mL; 10 mL; 12 mL in 100 mL coconut cream, variations of pH 3 ; 4 ; 5 and the time of incubation for 24 hours at room temperature. Further analysis includes testing the quality of water content, free fatty acid content and iodine value obtained in the VCO. Results showed the treatment at pH 4; the addition of 0.5 grams of tempeh and 10 mL of pineapple extract produce optimum yield of 30.45 mL VCO. The test results of water content, free fatty acids and iodine value in a row is 0.27%; 0.144 mg KOH / g of oil; 7,12 mg iodine / 100 g oil. Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) obtained good quality in accordance with SNI. Kata kunci: Pembuatan VCO, Fermentasi, Enzimatis

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to obtain an character base-innovative teaching module on teaching atomic structure and periodical table of element contain character base education. This type of research is a research and development modified from Borg-Gall methods. The 20 teachers chemistry of X grade class of SMA (senior high school) used as samples  or responden to analysing chemistry textbook produced by two publisher using BSNP (National Education Standards Agency) instrument standard. The results show that both of textbook contain atomic structure and periodical table of element have good quality but it possible to developed to get an innovative teaching module which revise in subject matter sequences and teaching strategy. The innovative teaching module received had been fully BSNP standard, quite valid,  feasible and does not need to be revised. From trial using quasy experiment methods show that student outcomes  thought using innovative teaching module (average 88.5) higher than control class (average 80.75). Abstract

Abstract Obesity is one of unresolved health problem in Indonesia. Based on the data of Indonesian health profile in 2011, the prevalence of nutritional status of adult population (>18years) in Aceh of overweight was 10,9% and obesity 13,14%. Obesity is a risk factor for development of varous deseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension ad heart disease, this occurs because of the role molecules that exist in adipose tissue Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) is cytokine that tended to increase in patients with obesity and blood sugar levels. Physical exercise (gymnastic healty heart) is one of activity that can effect of TNF-α levels and blood sugar level in people with obesity. This study is aimed at understanding the impact of physical exercise (gymnastic healty heart) on lowering TNF-α levels and fasting blood sugar of obesity.The research design is quasy experimental with observational pre-post test design. The obese people aged 18-21 years was 25 samples. The sample are given physical exercise (gymnastic healty heart) for 4 weeks.. The data is analyzed by using univariate and bivariate and tested by using T-test dependent and correlation person. Based on the result of this study, it was found that physical exercise did not significant on TNF-α (p=0,11), but physical exercise is significant on fasting blood sugar level (p=0,03). There was no correlation between TNF-α level and fasting blood sugar level before and after Physical exercise is done ( p=0,059 and p=0,192).Keywords : Physical exercise, TNF-α level, fasting blood sugar level and obesity

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to compose a innovative electrolyte and non electrolyte learning module and to know its effect on student learning outcomes. The two class student of Xth class from SMA Negeri 7 Medan used as a sample, which both as experimental class teach by  PBL model using innovative modules and control class by original text books. The research data analyzing by descriptive and inferential statistics methods. By this research, we had take an innovative electrolyte and non electrolyte learning module which composed by Borg& Gall procedure and had been standardized  by Indonesian National Standard Education Bureau (BNSP).  The result data show that student learning outcomes of experimental class prestest is 40.75 and postest 79.375 mean score, and control class pretest was 54.37 posttest and  73.875 mean score. Based on rejection of hypothesis show that student learning outcomes which teach by innovative module is higher than using original textbook. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the yield of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is made through a combination of fermentation and enzymatic techniques using papaya latex. Previous papaya sap is processed into crude papain enzyme and fermentation using yeast tempeh (Rhizopus oligosporus). Concentration of 100 ml coconut milk is added 0.5 grams of tempeh and coarse with variation of the enzyme papain 0.0 grams; 0.2 grams; 0.4 grams; 0.6 grams; 0.8 grams and with a pH of 3.4 and 5 variations of this mixture was incubated for 24 hours at room temperature. Of 100 mL of milk obtained optimum yield Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) of 27.8 mL of the enzyme at a concentration of as much as 0.6 grams of crude papain at pH 5. addition of the enzyme papain is able to increase the yield of coarse Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), but at a certain concentration will be able to lower the yield. The lower the pH, the lower the yield of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is obtained. Analysis of the quality of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) in terms of free fatty acid 0.1720%, 0.18% and a water content of 9.45 mg iodine / g. The Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) obtained had been met requirement set by SNI standard’s. Kata kunci: Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), Getah Pepaya, Ragi Tempe
