Abstract

Salah satu strategi yang diperlukan dalam memenangkan persaingan adalah menciptakan inovasi-inovasi. Salah satu inovasi yang telah dibuat dalam mengolah dan menyajikan makanan kepada wisatawan adalah ketegak dan ketegak agung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisis terhadap implementasi inovasi penyajian makanan oleh kelompok sadarwisata kepada wisatawan dan memberikan manfaat untuk meningkatkan kualitas makanan. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan dua tahap yaitu pertama melakukan pelatihan dan tahap kedua adalah penerapan teknologi yang disertai dengan analisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Penggunaan sampel jenuh sebanyak 6 orang sesuai dengan jumlah pengurus di bidang kuliner. Hasil kajian menjelaskan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan dalam pengolahan dan penyajian makanan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan kelompok sadar wisata dan menjadi salah satu strategi dalam meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan. Hasil ini memberikan implikasi terhadap manajemenstrategi dalam memenangkan persaingan dan juga memberikan motivasi kepada pengelola wisata bahwa nilai budaya di bidang makanan dapat sebagai daya tarik membangun desa wisata.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan teknologi kendali mekanis untuk air suci Pura Beji di Banjar Pacung, Kediri, Tabanan, Bali. Kondisi pancuran air suci (beji) sangat memprihatinkan, debit airnya kecil. Pura Beji sangat potensial dikembangkan untuk menjadi wisata desa dan memiliki peran sangat strategis bagi masyarakat Hindu dalam menjalankan upacara keagamaan. Sedangkan ke arah hulu sungai dari Pura Beji ada sumber mata air dengan debit yang cukup besar. Dari hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa teknologi yang diterapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk memperbaiki sistem suplai air suci di Pura Beji menjadi lebih bersih dan berkualitas dengan debit suplai yang cukup. Evaluasi terhadap persepsi masyarakat di Banjar Pacung tentang penerapan teknologi juga sudah dilakukan. Hasilnya menunjukkan persepsi masyarakat Banjar Pacung sangat baik dengan skor persepsi kepuasan 4,01 atau sekitar 80,16% masyarakat memiliki persepsi yang sangat baik terhadap teknologi yang telah diterapkan.

Abstract

Temple as a holy place of Hinduism in Bali inherited by the ancestors needs to be preserved. Temple as a means of worshiping God has a very broad dimension, in which there are various kinds of natural forces that can lead us to safety and happiness in this life. Temples that have old age due to the influence of time, are naturally damaged. In such conditions, the people are obliged to make improvements. The development carried out should continue to maintain its original function for its sustainability. The restoration carried out by the funding community was supported by the assistance of the Badung Regency Government and the descendants of the people and donations from donors. The main problem of the people is the limited availability of funds needed to repair the temple. Another thing that is urgently needed by the people is the availability of lighting and clean water. The purpose of this service is the availability of lighting and clean water in the temple to support temple activities. Religious ceremonies are essentially not only religious dimensions, but also social, artistic, economic, management and other dimensions. Through religious ceremonies, it can be fostered harmony between fellow human beings, families, one village with another village. Religious ceremonies also train people to be able to organize and are management exercises in regulating the course of the ceremony. Through religious ceremonies, ethics and aesthetics are also fostered. Religious ceremonies are very potential motivators to preserve or develop cultural arts, both the sacred and the profane. Even religious ceremonies are one of the attractions of tourism and can support human life. All religious cultures in the form of religious ceremonies are human endeavors to draw closer to Ida Sang Hyang Widi wasa to realize lasting peace and happiness. Balinese culture actually upholds the values of balance and harmonization, reflected in the teachings of Tri Hita Karana (three causes of welfare). If humans are able to maintain a balanced and harmonious relationship with these three aspects, welfare will be realized. Construction of temples complete with facilities and infrastructure, is expected to provide broad benefits for the community in developing tourism in Badung and Baha especially. Increasing the quality of the people, both as individual beings and as social beings. Community welfare will indirectly increase through economic performance and changes in the economic structure generated by the development of tourism.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji secara numerik dan eksperimental pengaruh temperatur approach kondensor dan evaporator terhadap kinerja suatu sistem AC sentral tipe water chiller. Karakteristik kinerja sistem AC sentral dianalisis pada berbagai temperatur approach dan pada berbagai refrigeran seperti R-22, R-134a, R-407c dan R-410a.Empat buah model numeric telah dikembangkan pada sebuah software dengan platform EES (Engineering Equations Solver) untuk mensimulasikan kinerja dari sistem.Semua model telah divalidasi dengan menggunakan data dari hasil eksperimen yang diukur langsung di industry. Hasil dari investigasi numerik dan eksperimental menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan temperatur approach kondenser sebesar 1 K dapat menyebabkan penurunan kinerja sistem AC sentral 3,45%;3,4%;3,3% dan 3,6% berturut turut untuk sistem dengan refrigeran R-22, R-134a, R-407c dan R-410a.Paper ini juga menyajikan karakteristik kinerja sistem AC sentral tipe water chiller pada berbagai temperatur approach dan berbagai jenis refrigeran yang dapat memberikan indikasi perlunya perawatan sistem AC untuk menjaga agara kinerja sistem tetap pada kondisi terbaik.

Abstract

Chest freezer pada operasionalnya memerlukan beban transien yang fluktuatif dari waktu ke waktu sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan. Untuk mampu memenuhi kebutuhan beban pendinginan maksimum, chest freezer umumnya dirancang dengan kapasitas lebih besar dari beban pendinginan yang dibutuhkan. Akibarnya sistem chest freezer kurang efisien dan kurang handal akibat sering mati-hidup selama operasi. Oleh karena itu perlu dikembangkan sistem chest freezer yang dapat mengurangi siklus mati-hidupnya kompresor dan menghemat penggunaan energi fosil. Penelitian ini mengkaji teknologi refrigerasi chest freezer dengan siklus kompresor yang kecil dan memiliki potensi untuk diintegrasikan dengan sumber energi terbarukan. Pendekatan teknologi yang diterapkan adalah teknologi chest freezer berbasis vegetable oil phase change materials (bio-PCM). Hasil investigasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bio-PCM dapat menurunkan siklus kompresor dan mampu menjaga temperatur produk di bawah -15 derajat C. Konsumsi energi teknologi freezer yang diusulkan relatif sama dengan freezer tanpa bio-PCM. Tetapi bio-PCM dapat membuat chest freezer sangat potensial diintegrasikan dengan sumber energi surya.

Abstract

Sistem AC adalah utilitas energi-signifikan terbesar dari bangunan hotel. Oleh karena itu, ada potensi luar biasa untuk meningkatkan efisiensi keseluruhan sistem AC di gedung hotel dengan melakukan optimasi baik dari aspek pemilihan sistem dan operasionalnya. Paper ini menyajikan evaluasi alternatif berbagai sistem AC yang dapat diterapkan untuk hotel bintang lima. Hotel ini merupakan resor dan vila dengan beban puncak pendinginan sebesar 2400 TR (ton of refrigeration). Aspek utama yang menjadi basis evaluasi dalam paper ini adalah kinerja energi sistem AC mencakup COP, konsumsi daya, dan konsumsi energi per tahun. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem AC sentral dengan diversity factor yang relatif lebih baik memberikan fleksibilitas dalam menetapkan kapasitas sistem yang terpasang bisa lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan beban pendinginan puncak dari gedung hotel. Lebih spesifik ditemukan bahwa AC jenis water cooled chiller memiliki COP yang tinggi dibandingkan dengan sistem AC lainnya. Dikombinasikan dengan keunggulan kapasitas yang terpasang juga kecil, maka konsumsi energi tahunan untuk AC jenis water cooled chiller juga sangat unggul dengan penghematan energi lebih dari 50% dibandingkan dengan sistem AC jenis WCP dan VRV. Modular air cooled chiller juga ditemukan memiliki keunggulan kinerja energi setelah water cooled chiller. Hasil evaluasi ini dapat memberikan alternatif bagi pemilik hotel, konsultan dan kontraktor gedung dalam menetapkan sistem AC yang paling sesuai untuk diterapkan.

Abstract

This paper presents a thermodynamic study on energy performance of a split AC system with R-32 for the application of educational buildings at the Bali State Polytechnic. The study was conducted using a standalone computer program U-CoolS V.1.12 which was developed on the EES (Engineering Equation Solver) V11,334 program. A thermodynamic model was developed and validated using data from the technical specifications of various types of split AC. Thermodynamic studies were carried out based on variations in ambient temperature in the Bali Region. The effect of two operating parameters of a split AC system, namely the condensing temperature in the condenser and the evaporation temperature of the refrigerant in the evaporator, on the compressor performance and energy performance of the AC system is simulated. Thermodynamic simulation results show the strong influence of condensing temperature and evaporation temperature on compressor performance and overall energy performance of the split AC system. It was found that for 1 °C increase in condensing temperature, the compressor power increased quite significantly around 2.1%, the cooling capacity of the split AC system decreased by 1.8%, COP and EER also decreased by 3.9%. Meanwhile, for 1 °C increase in evaporation temperature, it was found an increase in compressor power consumption of around 0.31%, an increase in cooling capacity of 4.4% and an increase in COP and EER of 4.1%. The results of this thermodynamic study also show that the split AC system performance using R-32 refrigerant has a very good COP range from 3.27 to 5.95 with the implication that R-32 refrigerant has the potential to be a refrigerant for a split AC system.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the strategies used in the authenticity of Tri Eka Buana Village, Bali, Indonesia, as a tourist attraction. Research methods: This research is a research mixed method with analytical techniques using the Internal Factor Analysis (IFAS), External Factor Analysis (EFAS), Internal-External Matrix (IE), SWOT, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) Analysis. Findings: Based on the results of the IFAS matrix analysis, the main strength is that it has beautiful natural and artificial potential such as Bukit Abah, Danu Seliwah Temple, Dukuh Sakti Waterfall, Umananing Malini dance and Balinese Arak that can attract tourists, while the main weakness is that access to tourist objects is inadequate, such as a narrow and irregular parking area. Based on the results of the EFAS matrix analysis, it is known that the main opportunity is the development of Tri Eka Buana Village by involving local communities so as to minimize unemployment, preserve cultural and natural traditions while the main threat faced is competition between other tourism objects that have developed. The results of the IE Matrix research place the village in theposition Growth (Cell I). Implication: SWOT analysis resulted in 8 alternative strategies of authenticity from the 8 strategies, 3 priority strategies were obtained and have been calculated through the QSPM Matrix with a total TAS of 194.13, 193.57, and 186.46, namely optimizing the potential promotion of Tri Eka Buana Village Karangasem Bali through the media. social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and websites.

Abstract

Thermal energy storage based on phase change material (PCM) as an energy storage material is considered a promising technology to meet future energy needs due to its low cost and high storage capacity under isothermal conditions. Thermal energy storage is an inevitable component of intermittent use of renewable energy technology, due to its significant role in improving efficiency and Quality of Service (QoS). At present, one of the main researchers in such systems is to improve the efficiency of heat exchangers and heat carriers. Therefore, studying the thermal behaviour and thermophysical properties of heat storage is very important. Supercooling is a thermophysical property of PCM that is problematic in thermal storage applications and is a challenge in technical applications. Supercooling of phase change materials (PCM) during the process of changing from liquid to solid is a major problem in thermal energy storage, which reduces energy efficiency and exacerbates energy wastage. This study focuses on the supercooling characteristics of PCM under heterogeneous nucleation, which provides a new idea to investigate the effect of nucleating agents on the supercooling rate of aqueous solutions. Understanding, predicting and, where possible, preventing, or at least reducing, supercooling is of particular importance for latent heat thermal energy storage systems, as the temperature differences within them must be small to achieve higher efficiencies. Water is the most popular PCM today, because it has good characteristics, but has a weakness, namely high supercooling. Various methods have been sought and developed to control the behaviour of supercooling fluids. The most economical and efficient method for reducing or eliminating supercooling is the addition of a nucleating agent. Various PCM samples, namely propylene glycol solution in water, were made in various percentages (10/90, 20/80 and 30/70) with the aim of reducing supercooling of water. The samples made were tested by the T-history method. The results showed that the water supercooling decreased with the increase in the percentage of propylene glycol solution in water, from 10 degrees to 6, 4, 2 degrees respectively, making it suitable for cooling applications.
