Abstract

This paper explains about the effectiveness of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) led the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan in 2002-2012. NATO is an international organization that emphasizes the military defense sector in the countries of the North Atlantic. While ISAF is an inter-state cooperation that aims to make the program successful reconstruction of Afghanistan. This paper begins by explaining what is being done mission ISAF in Afghanistan, the first mission is done ISAF mission for security, reconstruction and construction of the second and the third rule. Mission most emphasized by ISAF in Afghanistan is security, because of the threat of the Taliban to Afghanistan, as well as the spread of narcotics. That is why Afghanistan had help from NATO. However, whether effective or not assistance is done through NATO ISAF to Afghanistan?.In fact, the research concluded that the program performed the NATO-led ISAF to help Afghanistan is not effective, or can be said to have not been successful, because we can see the current state of Afghanistan, they are still not ready to face the threats of the enemy, in Afghanistan there are still many the spread of narcotics, it indicates that the NATO program for about twelve years of the leadership of Hamid Karzai is still not much change.Keywords: security, threat, ISAF program effectiveness, government of Hamid Karzai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri sosial dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tanon Kabupaten, dan 2) hubungan antara aktivitas siswa dalam model pembelajaran inkuiri sosial dengan hasil belajar IPS.Kriteria efektivitas dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal, 2) ketercapaian aktivitas siswa,dan 3)tanggapan positif siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pre-eksperimenyang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Tanon dengan subjekkelas VIII E yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan hasil belajar secara klasikal mencapai 51,61% sehingga pada kriteria ini belum terpenuhi. Aktivitas belajar siswa  mencapai 68% sehingga masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran masuk dalam kategori baik yaitu 75,97%. Hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa memiliki hubungan yang signifikan ditunjukkan oleh uji korelasi product moment.Hal ini berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan aktivitas siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri Sosial belum efektif dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Tanon tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. This research aimed to know: 1) the effectiveness of social inquiry learning model in grade VIII Junior High School 1 Tanon, and 2) the relations between the activities of students in social inquiry learning model with learning outcomes of social science subject. Criteria of effectiveness on this research are: 1) exhaustiveness of classical learning outcomes, 2) achievement of  students activities, and, 3) positive response of students towards learning. Design of this research is pre-experiment study which was done in Junior High School 1 Tanon with the subject is E eight grade which amounts to 31 students. The results showed that the classical mastery of learning outcomes reached 51.61% so that this criterion has not been met. Activities of students in learning reached 68% so that in the high category. The response of students towards learning in good category is 75.97%. Learning outcomes and student activities have a significant relationship is shown by the results in which the product moment correlation. This means there is a significant relationship between the outcomes of cognitive  students with student activities. It can be concluded that the model of inquiry learning social learning is not effective yet in eighth grade social studies at Junior High School 1 Tanon academic year 2013/2014.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya tingkat literasi keuangan pelaku usaha mikro menjadi salah satu penyebab minimnya akses lembaga keuangan terhadap sektor Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) yang berperan menyumbang 60% terhadap perekonomian dan 97% terhadap ketersediaan lapangan kerja. Pengembangan bisnis usaha mikro pada umumnya menemui tantangan di masalah pendanaan, tidak terkecuali bagi bisnis yang dijalankan oleh pengusaha wanita di Jawa Tengah. Pengusaha UMKM wanita di Jawa Tengah perlu membangun bisnis yang berkelanjutan dengan memanfaatkan produk dan jasa keuangan. LIKTAUSI: Literasi Keuangan bagi Pengusaha UMKM Wanita melalui aplikasi SikapiUangMu diharapkan dapat membantu pengusaha wanita dalam menyiapkan bisnisnya dengan lebih memahami bagaimana menerapkan manajemen keuangan sehingga dapat memaksimalkan manfaat jasa-jasa keuangan. Model literasi keuangan bagi pengusaha UMKM wanita ini merupakan strategi yang dapat diterapkan dengan cara membangun komunitas LIKTAUSI, sesi diskusi tentang aplikasi SikapiUangMu, pemanfaatan jaringan untuk pengembangan usaha dan membuka kesempatan pengusaha UMKM wanita di Jawa Tengah untuk melakukan mini investasi melalui kemitraan atau kerjasama bisnis. Melalui LIKTAUSI, literasi keuangan bagi pengusaha UMKM wanita di Jawa Tengah dapat menjadi sarana untuk mengembangkan bisnis dan memberi ruang bagi pengusaha wanita untuk berdiskusi dalam memanfaatkan jasa keuangan guna memperbaiki manajemen keuangan UMKM yang dijalankan sehingga mendukung untuk pencapaian tingkat literasi keuangan penduduk Indonesia yang well literate. Kata Kunci: LIKTAUSI, Literasi Keuangan, Pengusaha UMKM Wanita,  SikapiUangMuABSTRACT  Low levels of financial literacy in micro businesses is the cause of minimum access from the financial institutions to UMKM sector that contribute 60% for economics growth and 97% for availability of employment. Micro business development in general, met the challenge in a matter of funding, not least for businesses run by women entrepreneurs in Central Java. Women entrepreneurs in Central Java should build a sustainable business by utilizing financial products and services. LIKTAUSI: Financial Literacy for Women Entrepreneurs through SikapiUangMu application expected to assist entrepreneurs in setting up business with a better understanding of financial management to maximize the financial service benefits. Financial literacy model for women entrepreneurs is a strategy that can be applied in a way to build LIKTAUSI community, SikapiUangMu sharing session, the use of networking for business development and opportunities of women entrepreneurs in Central Java to do a mini investment through a partnership or business cooperation. Through LIKTAUSI, financial literacy for UMKM women entrepreneurs in Central Java can be a means to develop the business and provide a space for women entrepreneurs in discussing the use of financial services to improve financial management of UMKM and support well literate financial literacy level in Indonesia. Keywords: LIKTAUSI, Financial Literacy, Women Entrepreneurs of UMKM, SikapiUangMu

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan mengetik 10 jari siswa kelas X AP 1 SMKN 2 Semarang dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran drill melalui Typing Master dan Ms. Word berbantuan media job sheet.  Faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan mengetik 10 jari siswa yang meliputi aspek kecepatan, ketepatan dan kerapihan. Rancangan penelitian terdiri dari tiga siklus, setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dokumentasi, observasi dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah  instrumen tes dan instrumen non tes (observasi). Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan keterampilan mengetik 10 jari dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran drill melalui typing master dan Ms. Word berbantuan media job sheet pada kelas X AP 1. Tingkat keterampilan mengetik 10 jari siswa pada siklus I berada pada rata-rata skor 15,44 (kurang terampil) dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar 61%, pada siklus II skor rata-ratanya meningkat menjadi 17,75 (cukup terampil) dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar 72% kemudian pada siklus III skor rata-ratanya meningkat lagi menjadi 20,78 (terampil) dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar 89%.The purpose of this study was to determine the ten-finger typing skills improvement of class X AP 1 SMKN 2 Semarang in application of drill learning methods through Typing Master and Ms. Word media-aided job sheet. The examined factor in this study is a ten-finger typing skills of students which include aspects of net speed, accuracy and neatness. The study’s design consisted of three cycles each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection method in this study is documentation, observation and tests. The instrument used was the instrument test and non-test instrument (observation). The data analysis in this study was using descriptive method percentage. The results showed there is ten-finger typing skills improvement with drill learning methods through Typing Master and Ms. Word media-aided job sheet on the class X AP 1. Level of ten fingers typing skills of students in the first cycle is at an average score of 15.44 (less skilled) with mastery learning outcomes 61%, in the second cycle the average score increased to 17.75 (quite skilled) with 72% mastery learning outcomes later in the third cycle the average score increased to 20.78 (skilled) with mastery learning outcomes 89%

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the feasibility and the effectiveness of web-based interactive multimedia called EMMASY. This multimedia was developed for learning automation of the personnel administration in vocational high schools. The type of this research is a research and development using the design of learning multimedia development from Alessi and Trollip which includes planning, design, and development. At the development stage, alpha test was conducted by the experts of media and materials to determine the feasibility followed by beta test by the users to find out the usefulness and summative test to find out the effectiveness. In summative test, the sampling technique was purposive. The data of Interviews and observation were analysed descriptive-qualitatively while the data of questionnaire and tests were analysed descriptive-quantitatively. The results showed that EMMASY is very feasible as a learning multimedia with the media-expert's score of 93.12% and the material-expert's score of 93.75%. The result of the usability test showed a score of 79.6% with feasible category. The result of summative test using independent samples t-test showed t-test significance value of 0.008 less than 0.05. In addition, tobs ttable (9.009 2.048) meaning that there is significant mean score difference of the students' knowledge in experimental and control classes; so EMMASY is considered effective to improve students' understanding of human-resource-management materials.
