Abstract

Purpose : The result of this research are expected to provide information to the investors to face the similar event so that investors can make decisions to taking profit in the future. Design/methodology/approach : The model of this event study research is using 45 issuers of LQ45 indexes member during test period for 10 days before and after the event. The statistic test which used in this research is paired sample-test towards CAAR and counting t-test towards AAR.. Findings The result of CAAR is showed that CAAR abnormal return significantly merely happen in research period III. While, for t-test towards AAR showed that abnormal return happened in period II and III tax amnesty execution Research limitations/implications : The object of this research is company which recorded as a member in LQ45 indexes. Practical implications : The result of CAAR is showed that CAAR abnormal return significantly merely happen in research period III. While, for t-test towards AAR showed that abnormal return happened in period II and III tax amnesty execution, with details in period II abnormal return merely happen in t-1 with negative value and period III abnormal return happen in t-9, t-8, t-4, t-3, t+1 and t+9. Originality/value : expected to provide information to the investors to face the similar event so that investors can make decisions to taking profit in the future

Abstract

Competition between universities in attracting prospective students is now getting tighter, the competition that occurs today is not only applicable among private universities, but it seems that state universities also enliven the arena of prospective student selection. This phenomenon is getting stronger since the status of several State Universities was changed to become a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH), where one of the implications is that more programs and acceptance channels are opened for prospective students who want to enter State University. The focus of this study explores what factors will determine a high school / vocational high school student choosing a university, especially a private university. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for private universities, especially departments that have marketing functions at the University to increase the number of prospective students who register. Data was collected through the process of distributing questionnaires given to 12th grade high school / vocational high school students in the Sidoarjo region. Researchers hope that through this research can be obtained a picture that can be used by the university in determining the strategy for the Sidoarjo region. The result of this study indicate that the variables that influence the selection of Private Universities in Sidoarjo. Accidental sampling was used to collecting data because the population is unknown, where questionnaires is given to 412 high school and vocational high school students in Sidoarjo for three weeks period. The results of this study indicate that the variables that influence the selection of Private Universities in Sidoarjo are Product (X1), People (X5), Process (X6) and Physical Evidence (X7).

Abstract

Literasi keuangan menjadi hal yang penting dewasa ini. Perkembangan dunia keuangan dengan berbagai macam instrumen keuangan yang baru membuat pengetahuan keuangan juga harus berkembang. Manajemen keuangan pribadi termasuk mengenai investasi menjadi hal yang krusial untuk dipahami, mengingat beberapa kasus terkait pengetahuan keuangan yang muncul belakangan ini. Generasi muda sebagai agen perubahan menjadi sasaran sosialisasi dan penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan khususnya tentang investasi dan pasar modal. Penyuluhan dan sosialisasi dilakukan secara langsung di SMA/SMK di Gresik, efektifitas kegiatan diukur menggunakan kuesioner yang memuat indikator pemahaman investasi dan pasar modal. Pengukuran menggunakan skala likert yang kemudian skor hasilnya dibagi menjadi lima kategori tingkatan pemahaman. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, diperoleh hasil bahwa pada setiap indikator pemahaman investasi dan pasar modal siswa/siswi mengalami peningkatan dengan hasil post test sebagai berikut. Pemahaman mengenai definisi investasi dan pasar modal memiliki skor tinggi (4,16), pemahaman tentang pentingnya investasi termasuk kategori sangat tinggi (4,32), pemahaman tentang sumber dana investasi tinggi (3,76), pemahaman tentang produk-produk investasi di pasar modal tinggi (3,92) dan pemahaman tentang risiko dan keuntungan investasi di pasar modal tinggi (3,96).
