<![CDATA[The problem discussed in this research is how the students reading comprehension through PQRST technique. This research is aimed describe the students’ reading comprehension throught PQRST technique. The researcher uses descriptive method. The population is the XI class which consists of 156 students’ distributed is 5 classes. The sample is 25% of the total students’ of each class, so the total of the sample is 40 students. Data collecting technique is done by objective test technique. Based on the result, the students’ reading comprehension through PQRST technique is categorized as quite enough with the mean. The students’ reading comprehension through PQRST technique in the aspect of literal is categorized as quite enough with the mean score is 69. In the aspect of interpretative is categorized as quite enough with the mean score is 68, in the aspect of critic/creative is categorized as quite enough with the mean score is 68.Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui teknik PQRST. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui teknik PQRST. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 156 siswa yang tersebar dalam 5 kelas. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini 25% dari jumlah siswa setiap kelas, sehingga jumlah sampelnya 40 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes objektif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui teknik PQRST Kelas XI SMA Negeri I Labuhan Ratu Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 tergolong cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 68. Kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui teknik PQRST pada aspek literal tergolong cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 69. Pada aspek interpretatif tergolong cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 68 dan pada aspek kritis/kreatif tergolong cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 68.Kata kunci: kemampuan, membaca, pemahaman, teknik PQRST]]>
