Abstract

The ability of self-control in every individual is very important because it can reduce or suppress negative emotions that arise unnoticed. An individual who can control his emotions will be able to make decisions wisely. This study is intended to know the influence of self control on negative emotion tested on grade XI science program students of SMAN 2 Sampit period 2015/ 2016. Hypothesis floated in this research was there is positive and significant influences between self control and negative emotion on grade XI science program students. This study is uses quantitative method expostfacto. There were 195 students from grade XI science program tested in this study and the samples taken were 25% from the whole and found 50 students as the respondent. Furthermore, the technique used on this phase was Proporsional Random Sampling. The result of the data analysis in this study uses the hypothesis test with t test shows that the score of ttest were -4,388 and the significances were 0,000 (p ≤ 0,05). Furthermore, the coefficient determination (R2) found were 0,286 which means, in this study, self control influenced to negative emotion as big as 0,286 or 28,6%. This result proved that self control significantly and possitively influences to negative emotion on grade XI science program students of SMAN 2 Sampit period 2015/ 2016, so the hypothesis floated in this research is accepted.

Abstract

There is an interesting phenomenon in mushalla Al-Kautsar MAN Kotawaringin Timur, Central Kalimantan at each first break. Not a few students and students come to the mushalla to perform Dhuha prayer, which is one of the sunnah prayers performed around the sun begins to rise until the time of Dhuhr. The students came one by one to the mushalla, took ablution water and performed Dhuha prayers between two and eight rak'ahs. This phenomenon shows the growth and development of students' spiritual attitudes, which at the next level grow and develop also the social attitudes of students. So that the strength of character of the students of MAN Kotawaringin Timur. The issues raised in this study are: first; what is the motivation of students to perform Dhuha prayers. Second; what character strengths appear in students after diligently performing Dhuha prayers? The methodology used in this study relies on the paradigm of social definition, with verstehen (interpretative understanding) method. While the approach used is phenomenological approach. The results of this study showed that the motivation of students to perform Dhuha prayers include: to draw closer to God, to feel calm, to refresh the body. The strength of character that arises include: courage, integrity, hope, vitality, and spirituality.

Abstract

Personality problems are very closely related to one’s self, as is the nature of introverted. If the introverted is owned by someone, it will cause him to become someone who is vindictive, unable to establish relationship with other people and will have difficulty communicating well.This study aims to overcome children who have introverted nature by applying Gestalt counseling models with reversal techniques. Intake of data is using qualitative descriptive methods with case study approach.The results of this study indicate that the application of the Gestalt counseling model with reversal techniques successfully composed student who have introverted traits. There is a decrease in introverted characteristics from high category to low category after carrying out individual counseling.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services Junior High School in the city of Sampit. This type of study is descriptive qualitative. The subject of this study is the counseling teachers. The collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The were analyzed through data reduction this study using triangulation techniques sources and methods.The study results show that the analysis of the implementation of Guidance and Kounseling junior high schools in Sampit in at Baamang and Ketapang can be concluded that the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services Junior High School in Sampit as a whole enough optimal.

Abstract

Without realizing it in our daily lives, a child who experiences a broken home has negative thoughts. This study was to determine the effectiveness of the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach in Overcoming Negative Thinking in Broken Home Children. This study uses descriptive phenomenological qualitative research with a case study approach, data collection using interviews, observations and problem check list models. The final results of the process of implementing individual counseling in this study are considered to be quite effective with a percentage of 40%. These results can be seen from the change in negative thinking from the subject which gradually diminishe.

Abstract

To understand the importance of learning styles have because in reality that students learn in his preferred learning style will certainly giving out good results. This study aims to determine trends in student learning styles Xl class majoring in science and social studies department at the high school. The method in this research using descriptive method, the number of population in this study are all high school students are students of class XI as many as 306 students. The samples in the study is proportionate random sampling technique, with the number of 78 students, who captured 25% of the total population. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a scale of psychology. Data analysis techniques that are used is descriptive analysis with formula persentase.Uji validity of using product moment correlation formula. Based on the results of descriptive analysis by percentage, obtained no learning style class XI student majoring in science tend to have a visual learning style amounted to 37.51%, which the Social Sciences has a visual learning style amounted to 38.83%. Thus the learning styles of students majoring in science class XI students majoring in social studies in high school had the same tend divisual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap perkembangan moral siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Baiturrahim Sampit tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tidak ada pengaruh yang positif antara pola asuh orang tua terhadap perkembangan moral pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Baiturrahim Sampit tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif ex-postfacto, sedangkan jumlah populasinya sebanyak 61 siswa dari seluruh kelas V dengan sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 61 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu Sampel Jenuh. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan uji t yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung -1,063 dan signifikansi yang di peroleh yaitu 0,292 (p ≤ 0,05). Koefisien determinasi (R2) yang diperoleh sebesar 0,019 yang memiliki arti bahwa dalam penelitian ini pola asuh orang tua memiliki pengaruh sebesar 0,019 atau 1,9% terhadap perkembangan moral. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa pola asuh orang tua tidak memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap perkembangan moral pada siswa kelas siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Baiturrahim Sampit tahun pelajaran 2016/2017, dengan demikian hipotesis ditolak .

Abstract

This research aim to to know there is not the make-up of the understanding of potency of x'self of student of class of XI IPA 2 passing service of personal tuition area information in SMA N 1 Cempaga school year 2015 / 2016. Subyek in this research is student of class of XI IPA 2 SMA N 1 Cempaga school year 2015 / 2016 amounting to 35 student. technique of Intake sampel use the saturated technique sampel. Hypothesis raised in this research is there is the make-up of the understanding of potency of x'self of student of class of XI IPA 2 through service of personal tuition area information in SMA N 1 Cempaga [of] School Year 2015 / 2016. Data collecting conducted to use the scale of[is understanding of potency of student x'self, while method used for the examination of hypothesis is test t-test with the technique of paired sample t-test.Hasil analyse obtained [by] value thitung = 10,361 > ttabelpada signifikansi 5% that is 2,0322. This means there is the make-up of the understanding of potency of student x'self of passing service of personal tuition area information.
