Abstract

Proposing or engagement is the last process of selecting a mate for someone who will marry. Men and women are different in determining the choice of a mate. There are men who make their choices on beauty, ability, funds, offspring and there are those who prioritize intelligence and agility. Besides that, there are also men who accept women anywhere, as long as they have good character and strong faith. Likewise, there are women who simply want a man because of his good looks, keperwiraannya and not a few who expect wealth. But besides that, there are also those who make their choice only on their character and religion. According to religious guidance, priority in choosing a mate is a religious requirement and character, because religion will be the guide of reason and conscience in driving a happy household and after that, other conditions will be followed according to his desires and wishes. If all this has been determined with full confidence, then only then start to make a proposal.

Abstract

The current COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has not shown a significant decline, because there are still many big cities implementing health protocols, but in several other areas experiencing a rapid decline. Educational institutions are the spearhead of the government in educating the nation, in any situation educational institutions must exist in carrying out their duties by obtaining security and health guarantees. For this reason, the existence of KPM is carried out at the Al-Qur'an Education Park as the program for implementing the 5M prokes (washing hands, wearing masks, keeping distance, staying away from crowds, reducing mobility) at the Al-Qur'an Education Park al-Masy Cold Ngronggot with aims to provide education (education) to the public on the importance of implementing health protocols in accordance with Presidential Instruction No. 06 of 2020 in order to maintain joint health in carrying out institutional activities. The KPM team together with stake holders, namely the al-Masy educational foundation, asatidz, TPQ female students get convenience in realizing the program, so this program recommends to female students, asatidz and guardians of students to continue to apply health protocols.

Abstract

Panaik money is money given by the groom to the bride's family as financing for the wedding ceremony, and one of the things that must be given apart from the dowry. The determination of the panaik money in Nusantara Jaya Village is carried out by deliberation between the groom's family and the bride's family, and in terms of the amount of the gift it is seen from several aspects such as beauty, noble family, social strata, the higher the level of education the higher the amount of panaik money must be given. This article will discuss the Islamic view regarding determining and giving Panaik money in marriage. The type of research that the authors use is field research. While the approach used in this research is qualitative. The results of this study indicate that giving Panaik money has become an ingrained habit among the Bugis community, especially in Nusantara Jaya Village. Some of the ways of giving are done in cash, some are done in installments according to the agreement of both parties. Meanwhile, for the determination of Panaik money by means of deliberation from both parties, the benchmark for Panaik money can be seen from education, beauty, respectable family, and others. There is nothing in the Qur'an and Hadith that discusses the existence of Panaik money, but Islamic law addresses this with the theory of the Al-'Adah Muhakkamah fiqh rules so that useful habits can continue to be carried out. If you look at the perpetrators, they are included in the category of 'urf hash, if you look at their work, they are 'urf fi'li'.
