Abstract

Ibn Qayyim is a Muslim scholar with broad scientific horizons. As a salaf figure, Ibn Qayyim is actually a free researcher who is not bound by madzhab or the opinion of certain scholars except for the truth even though his own teacher, Ibn Taymiyyah. In the perspective of Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyah Itself Islamic education includes two things namely Tarbiyah Qalb and body education. In addition, Ibn Qayyim also explained that the essence of other Islamic education also includes two things, namely education relating to one's knowledge and education relating to others. The purpose of Ibn Qayyim perspective of Islamic Education is to instill noble morals in students as well as eradicate and combat bad morals from themselves; Creating happiness in him; Always pay attention to it both when they are sleeping and when communicating; Directing how to interact with other humans; Pay attention to clothing so as not to use the prohibited; Directing his talents as well as developing them by giving him tarbiyah diniyah. While the Islamic Education Strategy according to Ibn Qayyim influential from: Al-Manhaj; Adab al-Murabbi and student adab.

Abstract

Indonesia consists of diverse tribes, customs, religions, languages and cultures. This condition is one side is an invaluable treasure, on other hand it can be counter-productive if it is not managed properly, it is very potential to cause clashes, conflicts and divisions. The emergence of radicalism which is felt lately is worrying. Conflicts in several regions indicate that Indonesian population lacks broad insight into cultural plurality. Therefore, there needs to be a deep understanding of mutual respect between ethnicities, races, groups, customs and religions. Understanding multiculturalism, as a socio-intellectual movement that carries values and principles of difference and emphasizes importance of respecting different cultures. As for planting values of diversity, the most effective is through the world of education, by instilling multicultural values to respond to cultural diversity that has been not yet bridged optimally, by changing form monocultural perspective education that is full of prejudice and discriminatory towards multicultural perspective. This is to create harmony between people with differences that are definitely happening. In fact, the core values ??of multicultural education have similarities with core values contained in Islamic teachings related to hablun minannas. In other words, Islamic teachings in general have contained principles put forward in multicultural education.

Abstract

This paper will discuss the relationship between the values of religious character education strategies with the formation of morality in students. The type and approach in this research uses descriptive qualitative. In the current era of globalization, people ranging from adolescents, adults and even the elderly and most importantly to parents must be prepared to receive positive and negative impacts in the times, because we can access various information both nationally and internationally very young and fast. To deal with all this, the world of education prioritizes in terms of what strategies can instill the values of religious character education that focus on the formation of morality in students. In implementing the strategy of religious character education values the principal must apply important points such as strategy, educational values, religious character and morality.
