Abstract

Growing and honing active and receptive language skills can be done by cultivating a passion for reading. By liking reading, it will train students to understand and interpret information and encourage them to develop critical thinking skills. This manuscript is a case study that involves the author carrying out and observing thoroughly and continuously an activity carried out by students. The aim of this Best Practice is to build the character and love of reading for MTsN 3 Jombang students through the Baresta strategy. The method used in implementing this Best Practice is experiential learning (experience-based), namely providing opportunities for students (grades VII, VIII, and IX) to apply their reading experience in writing and speaking activities, which is carried out over three semesters, namely the odd semester and the second semester. even 2021/2022 and odd 2022/2023. The results achieved in this activity are the honing of receptive and active language skills (reading, writing resumes, telling the contents of a book) and being able to publish either verbally or using YouTube, and practice critical thinking in answering questions.

Abstract

Islamic education needs to transform various kinds of core policies in the body of Islamic education itself which are considered capable of answering the challenges and demands. Islamic education in the face of the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 is expected to be able to bring a positive impact in all walks of life of society, religion, nation and state, not least in the field of Islamic education itself. The era of revolution 4.0 has been able to give birth to a new phenomenon that is considered very disruption so that it demands the world of Islamic education to innovate and become competent competitors. The reality that is happening now, graduates of Islamic education are now faced with new challenges, demands, and needs that are different from previous generations. So it needs to be carried innovations to the system, governance, curriculum, human resource competencies, facilities and infrastructure, culture, work ethic, commitment to change, etc. These things need to be done and get special attention by policy makers in Islamic education. If this is ignored, then Islamic education will be crushed, increasingly left behind and abandoned by its followers. Therefore, concrete steps are needed for Islamic education to be able to remain competitive in this era of disruption. The solutive step offered is to be able to integrate and keep up with changes and developments in technology today for the realization of modern Islamic education and global competitiveness.

Abstract

The implementation of quality and quality education is a valuable investment. Education funding has a very important role in the educational process, financing in the world of education is a supporting factor for the implementation of quality education which is contained in financing policies. The type of research used is library research, which is a series of activities related to library data collection methods originating from books, magazines, documents, records of historical stories or pure literature research related to the object of research. Educational policies that support the continuity of the implementation of education in Indonesia are urgently needed in efforts to realize quality education so as to produce graduates who are superior and quality generations of the nation.
