Abstract

AbstrakHipertensi mempunyai dampak lanjut Penyakit Jantung Koroner (PJK) serta dapat menimbulkan komplikasi penyakit lain yang berbahaya jika dibiarkan tanpa perawatan yang tepat. Penanganan hipertensi dapat dilakukan dengan teknik farmakologi dan non farmakologi salah satunya dengan pemberian air perasan bawang putih. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian air perasan bawang putih (allium sativum) terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan desain Quasy Exsperiment design dengan rancangan Two Group Posttest With Control Design. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata- rata tekanan darah sistolik (pretest kontrol) 151.50 dan diastolik (pretest kontrol) 99.75. Rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik (pretest intervensi) 152.88 dan diastolik (pretest intervensi) 101.25. Rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik (postest kontrol) 151.50 dan diastolik (postest kontrol) 99.75. Rata-rata tekanan darah sistolik (postest intervensi) 144.25 dan diastolik (postest intervensi) 91.88. Treatment of hypertension can be done with pharmacological and non-pharmacological techniques, one of which is by giving garlic juice.
