Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat peraga papan perkalian berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dalam materi bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas VII MTs. Al-Ihsan Padang Tikar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model menurut Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi menjadi 7 langkah yaitu (1) potensi dan masalah (2) pengumpulan data (3) desain produk (4) validasi desain (5) revisi desain (6) uji coba produk (7) revisi produk. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi, angket dan soal test. Angket digunakan untuk validasi ahli, respon guru dan siswa, sedangkan soal tes digunakan untuk penilaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menghasilkan alat peraga dengan tingkat kevalidan sebesar 82,86% dengan kriteria valid, hasil angket respon guru dan siswa dengan rata-rata sebesar 82,86% dengan kriteria praktis dan hasil pengerjaan soal test kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis oleh siswa sebesar 70,00% dengan kriteria efektif. Kata kunci; alat peraga papan perkalian; pemecahan masalah matematis; problem based learning ABSTRACT This study aims to develop amultiplication board props for Problem Based Learning mathematical problem solving abilities in integer material for grade VII students of MTs. Al-Ihsan Padang Tikar which is valid, practical, and effective. This research is a development research that refers to the model according to Borg and Gall which is modified into 7 steps, namely (1) potentials and problems (2) data collection (3) product design (4) design validation (5) design revision (6) testing product (7) product revision. The instrument used were validation sheets, questionnaires andquestions test. Questionnaires are used for expert validation, teacher and student responses, while test questions are used for assessing students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This study produced props with a validity level of 82.86% with valid criteria, the results of the teacher and student response questionnaires with an average of 82.86% with practical criteria and the results of thequestions were test students' mathematical problem solving ability 70.00. % with effective criteria.
