Abstract

Guru Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesehatan mempunyai peranankunci yang tidak dapat diabaikan begitu saja, karena guru murid yangmemiliki pengetahuan, ketcrampilan dan sikap yang lebih sempurna.Dalam proses belajar mengajar Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesehatan,keberadaan alat fasilitas olahraga mempunyai peranan yang sangatpenting terutama untuk kelancaran jalannya proses belajar mengajar disekolah. Sebagai seorang Guru Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesehatan harusmampu mengatasi segala persoalan kcterbatasan peralatan dan fasilitasolahraga yang ada.Dengan perawatan secara baik dan benar semua peralatan danfasilitas olahraga yang dimilikinya akan dapat bertahan lebih lama danawet, terutama perlu disediakan tempat yang khusus, sedangkan apabilaterdapat kekurangan peralatan untDk keperluan proses belajar mengajardapat dilakukan mengajukan kepada pengurus HP3 melalui pengajiJandalam rancangan anggaran dan belanja sekolah. Apabila kemampuanHP3 terbatas, modifikasi dalam mcngajar dapat dilakukan denganmenggunakan peralatan lain tanpa menyimpang dari prinsip-prinsipgerakan.

Abstract

This research was extended of the previous research in all Senior High School, YogyakartaProvince (1996). This research seeks to identify the obstacles teaching of sepaktakraw inJunior High School Yogyakarta, also to explore the degree to which potential problem ineach factor occurs. Population used in this study based on health and physical educationteacher in all Junior High School Yogyakarta with 40 respondents. 16 State Junior HighSchool in Yogyakarta have been used for the population. Questionnaire technique insteadof survey methods is used. We use the descriptive percentage to analyze a research model.The results indicates that 3 potential problem factors on teaching of sepaktakraw in JuniorHigh School. Those factors are curriculum, teacher, and physical and facility education.Physical and facility education factor has difficulty major problems with 51, 67 % comparewith curriculum 41.25 % and teacher factor 32.5 %.Kata kunci: identifikasi, kesulitan, sepaktakraw

Abstract

Physical education is an integral and inseparable part with national education, which is animportant factor that will determine any national development. However, this case is oftenmissed from someone’s oversees. The ability of a society to develop its economy and toparticipate in its political existence is verily depends on educational level they have. It iscommonly believed that mankind’s improvement and development in the field of scienceknowledge, skill, behavior morality, will be obtained through education which is a way to forsubject or unit of society to grow into better. As an applied knowledge, physical educationprogram must be in accordance with national education program which is an integral andinseparable part with national development program, that is to improve quality of life ofIndonesian man as wholeness. Therefore, the goal of physical education that states adevelopment of physical fitness, metrical skill, knowledge, social, and beauties is a goalwhich is appropriate to be supported.Keywords : Role, Physical Education, National Development.
