Abstract

This research is "Empowering the role of parents for Sunday school children in increasing the value of offerings at the HKBP Resort Siantar Timur in 2020/2021". The role referred to in this case is the important task of parents in guiding, fostering children to increase awareness of children giving their offerings every Sunday at church. The relationship between father and mother must truly cultivate love in accordance with God's will for the child. In collecting the research data, a closed questionnaire (questionnaire) was used which was distributed and filled out by the respondents. Through this study, the authors hope to find out the extent to which the role of parents in empowering Sunday school children through empowerment in their respective families so that children, as the next generation can reach his goals and his life becomes the glory of God. The results of this study, the Church will increasingly equip parents in their service tasks. It is proven from the results of data X and data Y, each in the form of a normal distribution, using the formula: Chi squared (X2) table with a level of significance = 0.05, namely For data X (Role of parents) X2count = -166.27 while X2table = 9.49. And for data Y (Increasing awareness of children giving offerings) Y2count = -92.13 while Y2table = 9.49. Furthermore, the value of t-count = 4.58> ttable = 1.68, which means that there is a good relationship between the role of parents in raise awareness of children giving offerings.

Abstract

The NHT model is a type of cooperative learning method designed to influence student interaction patterns. NHT gives students more time to think answers and help each other. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach taking a Classroom Action Research (CAR) model. In its implementation, CAR is carried out in two cycles. Result of the NHT type of cooperative learning model to improve communication competence and teamwork for class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Sibolga, shows that student success has increased. At the end of cycle 1 the average score of the student group assignment was only 6.25. By the end of cycle II the average score of the assignments of the student group increased to 7.50. So that student learning achievement has exceeded the KKM score that has been set by the school, which is more than 7.00.

Abstract

Guru pendidikan Agama Kristiani (PAK) dapat memilih model pembelajaran quantum teaching (QT) sebagai model dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama kristiani. Pendekatan QT cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar seperti dengan tingkat keefektivan sebesar 68% dan peserta didik yang telah diberi perlakuan dapat mempertahankan kegiatan keterampilan yang telah diperoleh sebesar 98%. Penelitian ini memilih pendekatan korelasional dengan mencari seberapa besar variabel independen (kompetensi sosial) memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel dependen (peningkatan sikap belajar). Sampel penelitian ini adalah semua populasi yang tersedia, karena jumlah sampel kurang dari 100. Terpilih kelas X-1 sebagai kelas Kontrol dengan metode konvensional dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas Eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran QT. Berdasarkan hasil uji tahap akhir, diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen meningkat yaitu 71,98 sedangkan kelas kontrol yaitu 64,14. Kelompok kesperimen lebih baik dari kelompok kontrol, yaitu hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran QT lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional.
