Abstract

The Enforcement of Restrictions on Emergency Community Activities (PPKM ) implemented by the government in an effort to overcome the Covid-19 Pandemic has a direct impact on various orders of community life, especially causing a family food security crisis. This is also felt by most of the residents of Anaka Village, Urug Village, Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City. Kawalu District is the area with the largest cassava production capacity in Tasikmalaya City. Kampung Anaka is one of the centers for cassava production. So far, cassava is only used by selling it directly as a commodity or some of it is consumed in the traditional way, namely steamed or fried. This community service program (PPM) aims to provide knowledge to housewives about entrepreneurship for family economic resilience through the frozen food business. In addition, workshops on making cassava chicken nuggets are also provided. The output of this PPM activity is the formation of a productive economic business group (KUEP) called "WARNA" (Wanoja Rancage Anaka), or Anaka Creative Woman, and also the "KASIMA" as the brand of Chicken Cassava Nugget Products

Abstract

Fintech, as a part of information technology development, has been utilized by business sectors, including the MSMEs. This research aims to identify the influencing factor of MSMEs from the Eastern Priangan region to use fintech. The theory of planned behavior was selected as the theoretical model for this research. This model has three predictors, namely attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control.  All of these predictors were used as the independent variables. Innovativeness was added as the fourth independent variable. The intention to use fintech is set as the dependent variable. This research used quantitative and verificative approach. The sample size was determined by simple random sampling.  A total of 230 MSMEs from the Eastern Priangan region have participated in this research. The data collection process was completed by distributing online questionnaires in Google Forms. The collected data was analyzed with multiple linear regression, followed by hypotheses testing. The results revealed that attitude (t = -,070) and subjective norms (t = 0,968) didn’t have a significant influence on fintech adoption. Perceived behavioral control (t = 2,215) and innovativeness (t=8,685), on the contrary, generated significant influence

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penentu keputusan UMKM alas kaki di Cibaduyut dalam menggunakan e-commerce. Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) digunakan sebagai kerangka teoritis dalam penelitian ini untuk menyusun hipotesis penelitian. Tahapan awal penelitian dimulai dengan pengumpulan data primer berupa tanggapan dari UMKM alas kaki Cibaduyut menggunakan kuesioner, dengan total 148 responden mengisi kuesioner. Tahap selanjutnya adalah mengolah data yang terkumpul dengan metode regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitan, UMKM alas kaki Cibaduyut memiliki sikap positif terhadap adopsi e-commerce. Mereka juga menganggap pentingnya pengaruh norma sosial sebagai pertimbangan untuk menggunakan e-commerce. Persepsi kendali perilaku juga memiliki dampak positif terhadap adopsi e-commerce. Berdasarkan temuan penelitan, UMKM alas kaki yang belum menggunakan e-commerce dapat mempertimbangkan manfaat e-commerce pada bisnis, sedangkan UMKM yang telah menggunakan e-commerce dapat mengevaluasi manfaat dan kendala penggunaan e-commerce. Pemerintah juga dapat berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan penggunaan e-commerce pada UMKM dengan menyediakan pelatihan, membangun infrastruktur yang memadai, dan mengeluarkan peraturan yang relavan.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the business sector experienced a slowdown due to declining purchasing power. Dozens of companies had their revenue decline, forcing them to focus on cost efficiencies, including laying off workers. As a result, the unemployment rate has surged. Becoming an entrepreneur is a viable option to generate income for those who are unemployed. This research aims to identify the factors driving individual motivation to become entrepreneurs in adverse conditions, especially during a pandemic. The conceptual model employed in this research was modified from the Theory of Planned Behavior by adding resilience as an additional independent variable. Using simple random sampling for sample selection, a total of 225 respondents who live in Tasikmalaya City and Tasikmalaya Regency participated in this study. The multiple linear regression methods was deployed for further analysis and hypothesis testing. The results reveal that the formation of entrepreneurial intentions in the unemployed in Tasikmalaya City and Tasikmalaya Regency is influenced by attitudes, subjective norms, perceptions of behavioral control, and resilience.
