Abstract

The ability to communicate in the learning process is very important in conveying knowledge to learners effectively, and able to improve students' learning motivation. Which the role of teachers in this case is required to have good communication skills in order to maximize students’ learning motivation. Students’ learning motivation is highly influenced by teachers’ communication. A teacherwho rarely communicates with his students will or may experience failure in the learning process. Lack of communication will hinder the development of students’ personalities. This research is a quantitative descriptive research, with the population is all the students of State Elementary School Tanggul Rejo 1 Marabahan City which consist of 353 students, and the sample is all the students of VA class State Elementary School Tanggul Rejo 1 Marabahan City which consist of 30 students. The method of this research used correlational method. Correlational method aims to examine the extent to which variations in a factor relate to variations in one or more other factors based on the correlation coefficient. While this research data collections are questionnaire and documentation. The obtained data were processed and analyzed statistically by using simple linear regression formula.Based on the results of research that has been done, the researcher can draw the conclusions from the statistical analysis that there is a significant correlation between the ability of teacher’s communication withstudents’ learning motivation at State Elementary School Tanggul Rejo 1 Marabahan City which is shown by rserial = 0.696> r_ (t =) 0.361 (5% significant level). Based on the statistical analysis, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which reads ''there is a correlation between the ability of teacher’s communication with students’ learning motivation at State Elementary School Tanggul Rejo 1 Marabahan City accepted ", hypothesis (H0) which reads" No correlation between the ability of teacher’s communication with students’ learning motivation at State Elementary School Tanggul Rejo 1 Marabahan City" rejected.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the relationship between reading fondness and the ability to compose students at SDN Tanggul Rejo 2, Tabunganen District, Marabahan Regency. SDN Tanggul Rejo 2, Tabunganen Subdistrict is made as a place for research, while the object of research is about the relationship of reading fondness with the ability to compose students in SDN Tanggul Rejo 2, Tabunganen District, while the research subjects are all grade V students at SDN Tanggul Rejo 2, Tabungenen District.The population of this study was all students of class V at SDN Tanggul Rejo 2, amounting to 45 students and a sample of 45 students was determined using saturated sampling techniques. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method, while the data digging tool used is a questionnaire for reading fondness and composing tests for writing ability. Validity test is done is to use the Product Moment Collation formula. Obtained the results of 26 statements worthy of use from 32 statements that exist to determine the fondness of reading. Reliability was calculated using the Alpha Cronbach technique which showed 0.97 results so that it was declared reliable with a very strong relationship level. Analysis of the data used uses the statistical analysis of Product Moment Collation.The results of statistical analysis using the Product Moment Collation technique obtained a calculated value of 0.711. Meanwhile, the price of table with N = 45 at the 5% significance level, which is 0.294. From these results it can be seen the value of r count > r table, this shows that there is a relationship between reading fondness in writing ability of fifth grade students who are categorized as less.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan bahasa daerah, terhadap hasil prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV MIN 04 Hulu Sungai Tengah Desa Kapar Kecamatan Batang Alai Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Teknik Observasi. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan peserta didik yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode statistik menggunakan rumus regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa tarif signifikan (α) = 25% dan Df (darajat kebebasan=jumlah peserta-2 atau 20-2=18 Sehingga diperoleh T_tabel sebesar 0,688. Hasil statistik menunjukkan T_hitung=0,816>T_tabel =0,688 berarti Ha ada “Pengaruh Penggunaan Bahasa Daerah Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Bahasa Indonesia di IV MIN 04 Hulu Sungai Tengah Desa Kapar Kecamatan Batang Alai Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah” diterima. Pengaruh Penggunaan Bahasa Daerah Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Bahasa Indonesia di IV MIN 04 Hulu Sungai Tengah Desa Kapar Kecamatan Batang Alai Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah sebesar 0,27% berpengaruh positif terhadap Prestasi Belajar siswa di kelas IV MIN 04 Hulu Sungai Tengah Desa Kapar Kecamatan Batang Alai Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab rendahnya minat siswa dalam menulis puisi baru di SDN Banjarmasin. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yaitu penelitian tentang data yang dikumpulkan dan dinyatakan dalam bentuk kata-kata dan gambar, kata-kata disusun dengan kalimat. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 22 orang siswa. Alat penggali data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan alat penggali penunjang adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan, bahwa ada terdapat faktor penyebab utama rendahnya minat siswa terhadap materi puisi pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri Banjarmasin, Peneliti menemukan beberapa faktor penyebab rendahnya minat siswa terhadap materi puisi dilihat dari hasil wawancara terdapat faktor internal yaitu motivasi, perasaan dan minat. Sedangkan dari faktor eksternal yaitu motivasi orang tua, motivasi guru, lingkungan, bahan bacaan perpustakaan. Pada hasil observasi pertama rendahnya keterampilan menulis puisi siswa. Kedua model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih konvensional yaitu sebatas ceramah dan pemberian tugas. Ketiga, kurangnya perhatian siswa terhadap penjelasan guru, kebanyakan siswa justru ribut dan berbicara sendiri ketika guru sedang menjelaskan materi. Kondisi keempat yang juga tidak mendukung pembelajaran keterampilan menulis puisi di kelas V yaitu minimnya penguasaan kosakata yang juga berdampak pada rendahnya keterampilan menulis puisi siswa sehingga siswa kesulitan mengungkapkan ide- ide mereka.
