Abstract

Indonesia banyak permasalahan sosial terjadi dari dulu sampai sekarang dan terus berulang. Banyak tindak yang diupayakan untuk mensolusikan permasalahan ini dari berbagai prakarsa yang ada. Akan tetapi solusi-solusi ini belum dapat mengatasi masalah sosial yang ada dengan bukti bahwa masalah-masalah ini terus berulang sampai sekarang. Paper ini bertujuan mengkaji permasalahan-permasalahan ini dari sudut pandang posdisipliner menggunakan pola berpikir lintas disipliner. Kajian ini harapannya dapat memberikan wawasan baru mengenai bagaimana memandang suatu permasalahan menggunakan pola pikir multi-inter-trans-cross disipliner untuk menghasilkan solusi baru dan terintegrasi.

Abstract

Besarnya pahala dan manfaat dari tilawah memotivasi umat muslim untuk dapat tilawah setiap hari. Akan tetapi dengan tingkat mobilitas yang tinggi menyebabkan kita lupa untuk tilawah setiap harinya. Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang pembangunan aplikasi reminder tilawah berbasis Android yang bernama “Kholas”. Fungsi dari aplikasi ini adalah untuk mengingatkan penggunanya untuk mencapai target tilawah yang telah ditentukan oleh penggunanya dalam sehari. Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam membangun aplikasi ini menggunakan metode Waterfall. Metode ini dipilih dengan alasan agar setiap tahapan dapat berjalan terlebih dahulu sebelum menuju ke tahap selanjutnya. Dengan hadirnya aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu penggunanya untuk senantiasa konsisten untuk tilawah setiap harinya.

Abstract

The use of information systems properly to support internal activities is one factor for the success and progress of higher education. One of them is the use of information systems to facilitate academicians in documenting scientific articles. STT Terpadu Nurul Fikri already has an e-journal system with an essential role as a storage container for scientific journal collections. One of the applications used to document scientific articles is Open Journal Systems (OJS). However, the information obtained from interviews with e-journal developers and seeing the current condition of e-journals shows that it has not given maximum influence in carrying out its function. The author improves the appearance and content of the content, the e-journal socialization strategy to the internal academic community, and knows the constraints and evaluation methods when migrating to OJS 3. So that, later it is hoped that it will produce an even better e-journal 2.0. In this study, the author has developed and improved the STT-NF e-journal website by going through several stages. Starting from a preliminary study, conducting analysis, making a system display design, implementing, testing with black-box and UAT methods, evaluation and improvement results, to the socialization process of the new e-journal 2.0. Some of the researchers' features to improve and implement were the addition of ISSN number, Current Issue, About the Journal, and Article Template. However, there is one feature that has not been successfully created is the statistics counter feature. Due to this feature using dummy data.

Abstract

STT Terpadu Nurul Fikri is one of the institutions that utilize technology in developing teaching and learning activities using e-learning as the primary medium. However, the current condition of eLen still does not support student learning, as evidenced by the unavailability of several features needed by users. This support by the results of distributing questionnaires that refer to usability, that eLen has problems. With these problems, increasing the e-Len STT NF is necessary by designing a design solution based on user needs using User-Centered Design (UCD). User research will carry out; by making a prototype referring to user research results. The prototype that has been made will be tested using usability testing methods and a system usability scale. The results of usability testing state that the prototype of the eLen STT NF website that has been carried out based on UCD is quite good and is by user needs. Meanwhile, the System Usability Scale (SUS) results in a state that the SUS score from the UCD-based eLen STT NF website is 78.61. The next stage will be the implementation of Moodle, which will then be re-tested using the User Acceptance Test (UAT). Then the results from the UAT stated that the implementation of eLen STT NF was quite good; it obtains from the average test score based on 14 questions of 83.57%.

Abstract

In a college environment, the learning process consists of two ways. First, learning that uses hard skills emphasizes intellectual development that is directly on the problem. Second, soft skills learning. Lessons given while in college are more inclined to theoretical skills resulting in most students attach importance to hard skills in learning. Lack of soft skills education in students causes them to be only good at memorizing lessons and already feel successful by having skills. Students do not need not that hard skills, but both must run simultaneously. In soft skills education for students, it is usually taught face-to-face with teachers in universities. I am looking at the data of WeAreSocial.net and Hootsuite survey results as of January 2018, which states that Indonesia is the most significant active user of Instagram and Twitter in the world, the use of Instagram social media as a learning method can say as an opportunity that social media can also use for soft skills education, incredibly informal soft skills education such as character building. This study evaluates current soft skill education using the Likert scale formula. Then from the evaluation results can be a recommendation of soft skills education strategy for students using social media.

Abstract

Digital signage is one of the electronic media that serves to display information. STT Terpadu Nurul Fikri uses campus television as a digital information board (digital signage) to display various information such as video announcements, student activities, and campus profile videos. However, digital signage content management has not been maximized due to manual methods using a flash connected directly to the television. This causes the content that can be displayed to be limited to video formats only. In this study, we built an information system for managing digital signage named Nufi TV. This web-based system builds using the PHP CodeIgniter framework. We developed the Nufi TV digital signage system by going through stages, starting from collecting data, conducting analysis, designing the system display, implementing, testing with black-box and UAT methods, and evaluating the results achieved. Some of the features that we have succeeded in building in this system are video, lecture schedule, and running text. However, some features that have not successfully create are the content submission feature and image viewer.

Abstract

Using the website as an information system to support internal activities is one of the factors for the success and progress of educational institutions. One is using information systems to facilitate the academic community in registering for graduation. At STT Nurul Fikri, the registration process for graduation was still done manually and was too time-consuming. The purpose of this study was to design and build a website-based graduation registration information system (SIPUDA) using the Yii 2 framework. The method used in this research is a case study that collects data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are a graduation registration information system that can help students register for graduation at STT Nurul Fikri whenever and wherever they are without having to take up a lot of time. However, a feature that has not been successfully created is the notification feature integrated directly with student emails.

Abstract

This study focuses on implementing a geographic information system using ArcGIS 10.8 software to manage chili plantations in Clekatakan Village, Kab. Pemalang. The purpose of this study is the implementation of a geographic information system (GIS) for chili plantation management that can display the distribution of plantation area and design a GIS that has the feature of calculating chili production predictions in the following year, as well as knowing the results of the evaluation of the implementation of the system made. The development method used is the Rational Unified Process (RUP). This research is a mixed method, a combination of quantitative and qualitative research types. Qualitative research with a case study approach to design a GIS to be implemented. Quantitative analysis for processing production prediction data. To make predictions using the Double Exponential Smoothing Holt forecasting method. The result of this research is the presentation of plantation mapping information using Arcgis 10.8 for chili plantation management. The system evaluation results using the Black Box and User Acceptance Test (UAT) method conducted by the user stated that the system was successfully implemented and quite helpful for monitoring chili plantations in Clekatakan Village. The system created in this study succeeded in designing a map of the distribution of chili plantations and other information and predicting harvest times using ArcGIS Desktop 10.8 software. The production prediction feature has been successfully implemented in a different system, which is implemented in Microsoft Excel.
