Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan media kartu huruf terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SDN 7 Ampenan tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Metode digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasi experimen. Desain penelitian ini adalah non equivalent control group design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SDN 7 Ampenan yang berjumlah 20 siswa dari masing-masing kelas yang terdiri kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, tes unjuk kerja kemampuan membaca permulaan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan t-test. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa rata-rata kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pemanfaatan media kartu huruf terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SDN 7 Ampenan. Hal tersebut dapat ditunjukkan dengan menggunakan uji t-test pada taraf kepercayaan 5% dengan hasil yaitu thitung = 2,870 > ttabel = 2,024. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan agar dapat mengembangkan materi apa saja yang cocok dengan media kartu huruf dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of observations at SDN 20 Ampenan, namely the low problem solving ability of students, especially in social studies subjects. This is because teachers tend to use the one-way (conventional) method and the teacher lacks variety in applying learning methods. Therefore, there is a need for an update in implementing the learning method, namely using the Brainwriting method. Based on this, this study aims to determine the effect of the Brainwriting method on problem solving abilities in social studies class V at SDN 20 Ampenan, Mataram District, in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The population and sample in this study were all students of class VB as the experimental class and students of class VA as the control class. Data collection methods used are observation, tests, and documentation. The instrument used is an observation sheet on the implementation of learning the Brainwriting method and a problem-solving ability test. In testing the instrument, the researcher used the expert validity test. The data analysis in this study begins with a normality test using the Kolmogrov Smirnov formula with a significance level of 5% (0.05) followed by homogeneity testing and research hypothesis testing. Then the problem solving ability data were analyzed by t-test to determine the research hypothesis. The results of data analysis showed that the value of sig.2 tailed was 0.000, which was less than 0.05, so based on the research hypothesis, if the value of sig.2 tailed was <0.05 t-table, then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. This shows that there is an effect of the Brainwriting method on problem solving abilities in social studies lessons for class V SDN 20 Ampenan for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply various lecture methods to improve student achievement in class IV in the Science Subjects of SDN 43 Ampenan for the 2016/2017 academic year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). In this classroom action research, improvements are made gradually and continuously during the research activities. This research was carried out at SDN 43 Ampenan which is located in Sekarbela District, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2016/2017 Academic Year. On September 7-17, 2016. The subjects of this class action research were fourth grade students at SDN 43 Ampenan, totaling 38 students consisting of 19 male students and 19 female students. The observer in this study was the homeroom teacher of class IV. Classroom Action Research. Therefore, the procedure of this research is planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The instruments used in this research are as follows: (1) Test; and (2) observation sheet. Data collection techniques in this study are: (1) test; (2) observation; and (3) documentation. Data were analyzed through various methods to see student learning outcomes before and after treatment, student activity data, and teacher activities. the application of the Varied Lecture Method can improve the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 43 Ampenan for the 2016/2017 academic year, as seen by the increase in the class average for the first cycle, which is 69.21 with classical completeness of 78.94%. It increased in the second cycle, the class average was 74.21, an increase of 5 points from the first cycle and the increase in classical completeness was 86.84%, an increase of 7.9 points from the first cycle. For other researchers who want to research by applying the Varied Lecture Method, it is hoped that they can apply it in different classes and in different subjects.

Abstract

This research purpose to comparison the effect of the chain story technique on the speaking skill of 4th grade students at elementary school 23 Ampenan. This research is an quasi experimental type nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research were all 4th grade students in elementary school 23 Ampenan. The sampling technique used was saturation sample. The data of this research were collected by using observation, speaking skill test with assessment rubric and documentation. The data from students’ speaking skill test in the form of pretest dan posttest, then its tested for normality by the kolmogorov-smirnov test and then its also tested for homogeneity using the varian anylisis test (test of F). The test result showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Then, the data were analyzed using independent t test. Where the value of tcount = 3.304 > ttabel = 2.010, which means that Ha wad accapted and Ho was rejected. This is shows that there was an influence of the chain story technique on the speaking skill of 4th grade students at elementary school 23 Ampenan.
