Abstract

This study aims to determine the direction of the development of Mangrove Tourism Tamo Neighborhood, Baurung Village, Majene Regency. Analytical techniques used is descriptive. Tamo Mangrove Tourism Development Baurung Village, Majene Regency, still needs attention and proper handling of the local government. Tourism development Tamo Mangrove is currently expected to become one of the ecotourism areas in Majene Regency which can be a driver for improvement local economy. Therefore, collaboration with local communities and the government is very needed in the management and maintenance of the area the development of tamo mangrove tourism in order to be more improved and maintained the sustainability of the mangrove itself. From the results of the study it can be concluded that tamo mangrove tourism development in Baurung Village, Majene Regency still lacking in aspects of tourism supporting infrastructure, community participation, waste management, and management of tourism promotion itself

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify what factors cause abrasion in the coastal area of Galesong District and to formulate directions for abrasion disaster mitigation in the coastal area of Galesong District. Based on the results of the analysis, there are several factors that influence the occurence of abrasion at the Boddia Village study site, including the unavailablity of veggetation on the coast, the flat slope factor, the soil type factor that has a mud or clay structure, geological factors that are easily eroded by sea waves, factors of sandy beach types and no coral reefs,tidal factors of sea water that can produce wafes, and factors of sand mining activities that have changed the conditions of sea depth in the study locations. And the froms of mitigations efforts that can be done are in the form of making revetments (coastal cliff protectors), making breakwaters (talud) and prohibiting coastal sandsmining activities.

Abstract

Valentino Sarapang Batara, 2020. Development Strategy for the Tourism Area of the Lantebung Mangrove Forest in Makassar City. Supervised by Agus Salim and Jufriadi. This study aims to determine how the carrying capacity of the area towards tourism activities in the Lantebung mangrove forest tourism object and provide strategies in developing the Lantebung mangrove forest tourism area. This study uses a qualitative approach method and a quantitative approach to the data collection process through observation, structured interviews and documentation. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The analysis used is the calculation of the carrying capacity of the mangrove tourism area and the SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Lantebung mangrove forest tourism area is suitable for tourism activities with a suitability value of 61.73%. The carrying capacity of the tourist area only allows visitors of 250 peoples/day. The strategy obtained to develop the Lantebung mangrove forest tourism area is to minimize weaknesses by taking advantage of opportunities.
