Abstract

This study was conveted in  Ms. Sur’s Agroindustry of cassava crispy at Mekarsari Village, Kumpeh District, Muaro Jambi Regeney. This research has the aims to find out the deskription of this Agroindustry activities and also to kno the economic aspect involved : income, break event point and payback period. Deskription analysis was applied in this study, completed by purposive random sampling method to get this Ms, Sur’s Groindustry as a sample.The result of this research showed that this agroindustry had high enough income as Rp. 8.451,560/month, witch production break event point as 9,245 packs/month and price break event point as Rp. 370/packs. While the payback period showed 0,75 month. And the value added/kilogram cassava was Rp. 37.371.Keyword : income, agroindustry, cassava ABSTRAK                            Guna membantu pengusaha mengetahui usaha yang dijalankan menguntungkan atau tidak dan  besarnya nilai tambah yang diperoleh maka dilakukan suatu penelitian pada usaha yang bersangkutan yaitu Agroindustri keripik singkong Mbak Sur di Desa Mekarsari Kecamatan Kumpeh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Dengan tujuan untuk melihat gambaran aktivitas agroindustri selain itu untuk mengetahui aspek ekonomi seperti : pendapatan, titik impas (BEP) dan titik balik modal (payback period).Menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang dilengkapi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara sengaja yaitu pada Agroindustri Mbak Sur.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa agroindustri ini memiliki pendapatan yang cukup besar yaitu Rp. 8.451, 560/bulan. Dengan break event point produksi 9.245 bungkus/bulan dan break event point harga  Rp 370/bungkus. Sedangkan titik balik modal terjadi pada waktu mencapai 0,75 bulan dan nilai tambah perkilogram singkong adalah Rp. 37.371.Kata kunci : Pendapatan, agroindustri, singkong

Abstract

Gunungkidul is an area where most of the area is a tourism destination. Especially in the Krambilsawit area of Saptosari Gunungkidul. In the village, there is one beach, Ngedan beach. Where the beach serves a lot of drinks from young coconut or food using a mixture of coconut, for example uwu sprinkled with grated coconut. One of the problems is the overflow of coconut shells or coconut shells. The solution to this problem includes processing the coconut shell into ordinary charcoal and has not been processed into briquettes. This potential becomes one of the activities of the community service team who are members of the Kosabangsa team to provide alternatives to making charcoal can be developed again, into charcoal briquettes using appropriate technology in the form of a charcoal briquette printing machine. The use of appropriate technology for this Charcoal Briquette Printing Machine can speed up the process of making charcoal briquettes. The method of implementing activities is carried out by making appropriate technology tools and socialising their use to the community. In implementing the activity, the implementation team applied several methods such as lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and mentoring. The results of the implementation of the activity produced one appropriate technology for charcoal briquetting machines and socialisation of using appropriate technology for briquetting machines in the community.
