Abstract

Due to the high growth of vehicles in Jakarta that is not balanced by the growth of roads, the congestion level in Jakarta has been increasing yearly. To overcome the congestion, innovation is needed to utilize the rivers as a means of public transportation. The design uses the spiral design method with a parent design approach. The calculations carried out include the calculation of resistance, calculation of motor power requirements, calculation of longitudinal strength, calculation of construction, calculation of weight, hydrostatic calculation, stability calculation and seakeeping calculation on water vehicles. As for road vehicles, the calculations carried out include wind drag calculation, rolling resistance calculation, incline force calculation, total resistance calculation, torque calculation and electric power calculation. As a result of the calculations and iterations carried out, the technical specifications of the amphibious bus are obtained, including a length of 12.0 m, breadth of 3.0 m, depth of 3.0 and draught of 0.8 m. This bus is equipped with three movers of waterjet propulsion connected to electric motors with a power of 710 kW each. This bus can carry 51 people with one driver. This bus has good stability when in the water under empty and full load conditions with a level of comfort that meets ISO standards. In addition, this bus can operate up to 359 km for water distances and 501 km for land distances at 40 km/h for water and 60 km/h for land for one battery charging. This bus can also run with a maximum angle of up to 30 degrees.

Abstract

Maglev trains are considered for urban transport and intercity transport systems. On low-medium speed Maglev trains, the operating routine is shorter than that of high-speed trains. Therefore, EMS and LIM technologies are preferred from the point of view of construction costs. However, in high-speed operation, EDS and NGO technologies are preferred for handling, and reliability. In addition, as the development of high-temperature superconductors and new types of permanent magnets develop, stronger and more cost-effective magnetic energy will be used for Maglev trains. The authors believe this technology can be utilized not only for railway applications but also aircraft launch systems and spacecraft launch systems. The need for a new and improved transportation system prompted many countries to be interested and seek to develop Maglev railways. However, although Maglev trains have been studied and developed for approximately half a century, few countries have the knowledge and expertise to do so. This review paper attempts to describe the current complete system in detail and summarizes the basic core technologies of Maglev trains from an electrical engineering point of view. The research hopes to be useful for people interested in this to assimilate Maglev train technology including magnetic levitation, propulsion, guidance, and power supply systems.

Abstract

Abstrak -- Pusat pendidikan dan latihan pertahanan udara nasional (Pusdiklathanudnas) Surabaya mempunyai tugas menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan latihan pada spesialisasi sistem pertahanan udara nasional bagi personel organik maupun non organik yang diharapkan mampu menghasilkan sumber daya manusia berkemampuan Hanud yang handal dan berkualitas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis seberapa berpengaruh fasilitas latihan dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik terhadap kualitas hasil didik Pusdiklathanudnas. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan meteode survei dan teknik analisis jalur. Data penelitian yang digunakan, data primer yang diperoleh langsung dengan cara menyebar kuesioner/angket kepada responden personel militer berpangkat Perwira dan Bintara di Pusdiklathanudnas Surabaya dan mantan peserta didik di Pusdiklathanudnas Surabaya sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen, menggunakan studi literatur yang dilakukan terhadap banyak buku dan berdasarkan catatan-catatan yang berhubungan dengan Penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan fasilitas latihan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kualitas hasil didik sebesar 71%, hal ini berarti fasilitas latihan merupakan variabel penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan dan kualitas hasil didik. Kompetensi tenaga pendidik berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kualitas hasil didik sebesar 99%, hal ini berarti kompetensi tenaga pendidik merupakan variabel penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas hasil didik. Fasilitas latihan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kompetensi tenaga pendidik sebesar 84%, hal ini berarti fasilitas latihan merupakan variabel penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga pendidik.Kata kunci: fasilitas latihan, kompetensi tenaga pendidik, kualitas hasil didik Abstrak -- The national air defense education and training center (Pusdiklathanudnas) Surabaya has the task of organizing education and training in the specialization of national air defense systems for organic and non-organic personnel who are expected to be able to produce reliable and quality human resources capable of Hanud. The purpose of this study was to analyze how influential the training facilities and the competence of educators on the quality of the results of the Pusdiklathanudnas students' education. By using a quantitative approach with survey methods and path analysis techniques. The research data used primary data obtained directly by distributing questionnaires / questionnaires to respondents military officers with rank of officers and officers at the Surabaya National Education Center and former students at the Surabaya National Education Center while secondary data is obtained from documents, using literature studies conducted on many books and based on records relating to research. The results of the study show that training facilities have a direct positive effect on the quality of student outcomes by 71%, which means that training facilities are important variables in an effort to improve the ability and quality of student outcomes. The competence of teaching staff has a direct positive effect on the quality of student outcomes by 99%, this means that the competence of educators is an important variable in an effort to improve the quality of student outcomes. Training facilities have a positive direct effect on the competence of educators by 84%, which means that training facilities are an important variable in increasing the competence of educators.Keywords: training facilities, competency of teaching staff, and quality of student outcomes
