Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out: 1) the influence of the parliamentarians’ knowledge of budget, personal background, political background, public accountability, community participation, and public policy transparency on the performance of DPRK (Regency Parliament) in regional financial monitoring; 2) that professional commitment is able to become moderating variable to the relationship of the parliamentarians’ knowledge on budget, personal background, political background, public accountability, community participation, and public policy transparency with the performance of DPRK in the regional financial monitoring. This research applied quantitative method. It was carried out in October 2018 at the DPRK of North Aceh Regency with term of office from 2014 to 2019. The data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 45 respondents who are members of DPRK of North Aceh Regency by using census technique. The data analysis was performed using reliability and validity tests, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression methods and residual test by means of SPSS. The result of this research showed 1) that the parliamentarians’ knowledge on budget, personal background, political background, public accountability, community participation, and public policy transparency simultaneously influenced the performance of the DPRK in the regional financial monitoring, and 2) that professional commitment was not able to become the moderating variable to the relationship of the parliamentarians’ knowledge on budget, personal background, political background, public accountability, community participation, and public policy transparency with the performance of DPRK in the regional financial monitoring.

Abstract

The recruitment process and career development system have a significant relationship to improve competence and improve employee performance. This study is useful for analyzing how much influence recruitment and career development have on employee competence and performance. The object of study is at some Sharia Bank in Aceh. The sample in this study was 160 respondents. Meanwhile, the data were analyzed using the AMOS Structural Equation Modeling Program. The findings of the data analysis show that recruitment and career development have a positive and significant effect on employee competence and performance. Competence can partially mediate the relationship between recruitment and career development to improve employee performance. Findings The results of the study recommend improving the quality of the recruitment process and procedures to get employees who have knowledge, skills, and improve a transformative career development system so that the Bank's performance is healthier and develops a syar'i competency pattern so that it is able to renew its performance through collaboration with the recruitment team. career development team and competency assessment team, to find syar'i banking human resources.

Abstract

To improve performance, each keuchik  must be actively involved in every educational activity to determine the value of the level of service satisfaction as a leadership attitude, assess their work experience, and measure their work abilities. This study aims to examine the effect of education and work experience on the leadership and performance of the keuchik in the Designed for the New Autonomous Region of Aceh Malacca Regency. The sample in this study was 144 respondents, consisting of the keuchik and village secretaries. Data analysis used SEM-AMOS multivariate technical analysis. The findings from the data analysis show that education and work experience have a significant and positive influence on the leadership and performance of the keuchik. Leadership partially mediates the effect of education and work experience on the performance of the keuchik. The results of this study recommend that keuchik is expected to have leadership experience, work skills, be knowledgeable, behave honestly and be familiar with the community, and have academic experience.
