Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri  melalui media gelang karet. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok A di TK Dharma Wanita Puri Mojokerto dengan jumlah 15 anak yang terdiri dari 8 anak laki-laki dan 7 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi yang dilakukan oleh teman sejawat dan dokumentasi yang berupa foto kegiatan anak dalam proses pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya  peningkatan berkomunikasi lisan melalui bermain peran mikro sebesar 16 % berdasarkan evaluasi hasil dari siklus I dan siklus II. Dari uraian di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media gelang karet dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri  pada anak kelompok A di TK Dharma Wanita Puri Mojokerto. Kata Kunci : Bentuk geometri, Media gelang karet.   Abstract  This classroom action research aims to improve the ability to recognize shapes of geometry through the medium of a rubber band. The subjects were children in group A in TK Dharma Wanita Puri Mojokerto with the number of 15 children consisting of 8 boys and 7 girls. Data collection techniques used in this study was the observation made by peers and documentation activities in the form of photos of children in the learning process. Data analysis techniques in this study using descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed an increase in oral communication through role play micro of 16% based on the evaluation of the results of the first cycle and the second cycle. From the above description, it can be concluded that the rubber wristband media can improve the ability to know the geometry of the children in group A in TK Dharma Wanita Puri Mojokerto. Abstract

Freedom of the press after the 1998 reform had an impact on increasing the number of mass media in Indonesia. Coupled with the presence of the internet as new media, making media competition increasingly complex. Faced with this phenomenon a number of media began to try to unite information technology, communication and content which is referred to as media convergence. This research is a qualitative research. Research data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. This research concludes that Radar Jogja implements the concept of continuum convergence. Radar Jogja has carried out four stages of continuum convergence namely cross promotion, cloning, coopetition, and content sharing. While the form of Radar Jogja's media convergence implementation in the face of media competition, is identified as follows (1) optimization of new media, Radar Jogja has succeeded in becoming a technology-literate media as evidenced by its activity on various media platforms. (2) The issue selection strategy, Radar Jogja is able to raise national issues which are then localized according to the conditions on the field. (3) bandling advertising, a strategy to get clients by providing a variety of advertising service choices. (4) coordination, build a solid team and work together to increase loyalty to the company.

Abstract

Potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.), one of seven horticultural products targeted to be developed in 2015 by Directorate General of Horticulture. Pasuruan Regency was be able to produce potatoes up to 50% of the total potato production in East Java. Although potatoes cultivation in the Tosari District is relatively large, potatoes productivity is still a problem for the farmers. This study was aimed at analyzing the factors of production that had a dominant influence on potato production and its technical efficiency in the Tosari Village, Tosari District, Pasuruan Regency. Sample was determined by simple random sampling and amounted to 30 potato farmers. Data were analyzed with multiple linear regression models. Analysis revealed that the significant factors affecting potato production in Tosari Village were urea, SP36, ZA and manure. Application of urea, ZA and manure in potato farming in Tosari Village had not been efficient, so it can be added. Meanwhile, SP36 fertilizer was still applied inefficiently, so it must be reduced..

Abstract

This paper is a report of self-evaluation on teaching the students of Teacher Training and Education Faculty, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto at Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) classes since 2012 until today. Research and Development design is used here to test the feasible method to improve the endeavors of the classes.Four different classes at even semesters are analyzed as the data: TEYL class A 2012/2013 (28 students), TEYL class B 2012/ 2013 (28 students), TEYL class 2013/2014 (36 students), and TEYL class 2014/2015 (52 students). The students of 2012/2013 were asked to find the characteristics of children’s learning styles topic as individual task while students of 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 were asked to do in group. The groups of the last two classes were formed in familial setting in which the lecturer prepared cards with 4 different surnames. Those got the same surname became one group and they became a big family in which they pretend to be brothers and sisters of different ages. Each, then, became one responsible most to find out characteristics of his supposed age. The discovery shows that the classes of 2012/2013 tended to be inactive as they wished they have got information from their friends while what we call now the members of the families of 2013/ 2014 and 2014/2015 showed great responds. Almost all of the members of the family showed their enthusiasm, collaborative works, as well as understanding. Keywords: familial setting, autonomy
