Abstract

In dealing with the conflict in Papua, the Indonesian government has made various efforts, one of which is changing the status of the Free Papua Organization (OPM) which was originally defined as an armed criminal group, then changed to a terrorist group. The focus of this research is the change in the status of the OPM to the terrorist organization. This research is analytical with an explanatory approach that explains the reasons behind the policy taken by the Indonesian government to change the status of OPM to a terrorist organization. In collecting data to build arguments in this study using a literature study approach, where data is obtained from various literature sources such as books, journals, documents or reports, and also from internet sources that are considered relevant. The findings of this study can be illustrated that the Indonesian government's policy to change the status of the OPM to a terrorist organization has been motivated by several reasons, including: OPM has met the definitive requirements as a terrorist; expanding the space for the Indonesian government to deal with the OPM, including facilitating the tracking and blocking of funding for the OPM movement; To gain legitimacy from any efforts or steps taken to confront OPM; Using the "war on terror" norm to reduce the perception of human rights violations committed by the Indonesian government.

Abstract

With advances in digital technology, MSMEs have great opportunities to take part in it. Various SMEs in Serang Regency are still experiencing problems in promoting their merchandise. This community service program (PKM) aims to transfer knowledge about the use of social media to develop market access for MSMEs in Serang Regency. Indonesia is still facing the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the socialization and training methods are carried out through online webinars with interactive discussion. This discussion is useful for finding solutions to problems faced by MSME business actors in operating social media to increase income. The result of this PKM is that the participants understand the webinar material well. As many as 72.7% of participants have and will create virtual shops to promote their products and 63.6% of participants strongly agree that the ability to use social media is a must have to increase market access for MSME products.

Abstract

This activity aims to explain and disseminate the consequences and circulation of illegal narcotics circulation and the role of youth. This activity also explains the factors that cause massive illegal narcotics trafficking in Indonesia. This activity was carried out at the Cilandak Branch of the Aisyah Orphanage Foundation in South Jakarta from May to November 2019. This activity took the form of socialization and discussion with the orphanage children and orphanage administrators. This activity involves lecturers and practitioners. This research describes the consequences of narcotics' excessive trafficking from various scientific perspectives such as social, political, legal, cultural, and economic. The result obtained is that children from orphanages are vulnerable to illegal drug trafficking. Life experience before entering an orphanage is a vulnerability for them to be contaminated. Thus, the researchers provided the orphanage children with the knowledge and formed a unit of anti-narcotics officers who functioned as informants in the event of irregularities in the illegal distribution of narcotics. Hopefully, this program can be expanded and increase the knowledge of many people so that narcotics will no longer threaten Indonesian society's stability and security.

Abstract

This paper's purpose is to explain describes the correlation of the spread of the Covid19 virus as a global problem. The spread will form a global health diplomacy collaboration to tackle Covid19 massive spread that makes countries overwhelmed to overcome it. This paper is used for library research to research methodology with qualitative descriptive analysis paradigm. This paper result to finds that to overcome these problems, each country must interpret that international mismarked security is more important than the political and economic interests of the country. That means that cooperation must be interpreted that the Covid19 outbreak is a global problem, must be handled by multiple stakeholders, long term, and cooperation based on the nature of extremism. With the ready ness negotiation method. This interpretation is expected to be an inclusive way to be able to respond to cooperation that understands, shares, and enjoys together with global health diplomacy as to develop international governance cooperation with altruism model and ready ness negotiation.

Abstract

The drug problem which is a problem from year to year is increasingly complex and makes the drug problem a transnational problem which to eradicate it requires cooperation from various international and national layers. ASEAN as a Southeast Asian organization realizes one of the organization's ideals, namely a Southeast Asian region that is free from drugs through the Drug Free ASEAN 2015’s declaration is committed to strengthening cooperation in overcoming drug abuse with a jointly designed work plan. In its implementation, Indonesia and Thailand hold cooperation with the hope of eradicating drugs in both countries, because as we know that the drug problem cannot be carried out alone. In cooperation, Indonesia and Thailand carried out several activities that were considered effective enough to help overcome this crucial problem. The method of this research is a qualitative using the theory of Regionalism and International Cooperation in its analysis which results in the conclusion that the Cooperation between Indonesia and Thailand is apart from the current massive condition of the drug problem, Cooperation between Indonesia and Thailand is running effectively with the attitude of the two countries being cooperative and various ongoing activities. in accordance with the ideals of both countries.

Abstract

The Garuda Indonesia bribery case is a transnational bribery case in the private sector involving several countries, including Indonesia. This article uses descriptive qualitative research methods supported by analysis of liberal institutionalism theory, the concept of complex interdependence and the concept of corruption with the aim of describing how the KPK and SFO collaborated in uncovering this case. This article describes data from interviews with related parties such as the KPK as an institution that carries out cooperation and also the Ministry of Law and Human Rights as a formal inter-state liaison body. This collaboration is carried out based on an international legal instrument, that is United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC), which is a joint legal agreement that focuses on preventing world-class corruption. Through this collaboration, information and data that are important in this case can be obtained by exchanging information between the two parties, although the final outcome of the case settlement scheme is different due to differences in the legal systems of the two countries. This article is divided into several parts that are: introduction, theoretical framework, research methods, The Garuda Indonesia bribery case, UNCAC as cooperation framework, Cooperation between KPK and SFO in Garuda Indonesia bribery case and the Challenges and Obstacles in Cooperation and the last is Conclusions.AbstrakKasus suap Garuda Indonesia merupakan kasus penyuapan transnasional di sektor swasta yang melibatkan beberapa negara, termasuk Indonesia. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang didukung dengan analisis dari teori liberal institusionalisme, konsep interdependensi kompleks serta konsep korupsi dengan tujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana kerja sama yang dilakukan KPK dan SFO dalam mengungkap kasus ini. Artikel ini memaparkan data dari hasil wawancara dengan pihak terkait seperti KPK sebagai lembaga yang menjalankan kerja sama dan juga pihak Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia sebagai badan penghubung antar negara yang bersifat formal. Kerja sama ini dilakukan berdasarkan instrument hokum internasional yakni United Nation Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) yang merupakan kesepakatan hukum bersama yang berfokus pada pencegahan tindak pidana korupsi tingkat dunia. Melalui kerja sama ini, Informasi dan data merupakan hal yang penting dalam kasus ini dapat diperoleh dengan pertukaran informasi antar kedua pihak, walaupun hasil akhir skema penyelesaian kasus berbeda karena perbedaan system hukum kedua negara. Artikel ini dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian yaitu pendahulan, kerangka teori, metode penelitian, kasus suap garuda Indonesia, kerangka kerja sama UNCAC, kerja sama KPK dan SFO dalam kasus suap Garuda Indonesia dan Tantangan dan Hambatan dalam Kerja sama serta kesimpulan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the efforts of Women Migrant Workers in helpingto alleviate poverty are reviewed through SDG 8 as an indicator of the success ofthe government's reciprocal relationship regarding the rights and protections thatthey have and should get during the 2017-2019 period. To discuss this problem, theresearcher uses a framework of thought through feminism theory of internationalpolitical economy, migration theory, compliance theory, and also the concept ofnon-state actor. The results of this study indicate that Women Migrant Workershave succeeded in sending 19.2% of the total remittances during that period.However, their rights and protection have not been addressed through a review ofSDG 8. For internal factors, SDG 8 cannot fulfill its objectives optimally becauseits position is not stronger than national law. Then externally, WMWs recipientcountries have their own regulations in handling the migration process, so thatgender-sensitive migration conditions have not been realized. Abstract

Persoalan narkoba yang menjadi persoalan dari tahun ke tahun kian menjadi kompleks dan menjadikan persoalan narkoba menjadi permasalahan transnasional yang untuk memberantasnya dibutuhkan Kerjasama dari berbagai lapisan internasional maupun nasional. ASEAN sebagai organisasi Asia Tenggara mewujudkan salah satu cita-cita organisasi yaitu Kawasan Asia Tenggara yang bebas dari narkoba melalui deklarasi Drug Free ASEAN 2015 berkomitmen mempererat kerja sama dalam penanggulangan penyalahgunaan narkoba dengan workplan yang telah dirancang bersama. Dalam implementasinya Indonesia bersama Thailand mengadakan Kerjasama dengan harapan pemberantasan narkoba di kedua belah negara, karena seperti yang kita ketahui bahwa persoalan narkoba tidak dapat dilaksanakan sendiri. Dalam kerjasamanya Indonesia dan Thailand melakukan beberapa kegiatan yang nilai cukup efektif dilakukan untuk membantu adanya penanggulangan permasalahan yang krusial ini.Penulisan penelitian ini merupakan penulisan kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori Regionalisme dan Kerjasama Internasional dalam analisisnya yang menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa Kerjasama Indonesia dan Thailand terlepas dari kondisi kemasifan persoalan narkoba saat ini, Kerjasama diantara Indonesia dan Thailand berjalan efektif dengan sikap kedua negara yang kooperatif dan berbagai kegiatan yang berjalan sesuai dengancita-cita kedua negara.

Abstract

Penelitian tulisan ini akan berbicara tentang peran gerakan transnasional Black Lives Matter dalam mewujudkan kesetaraan rasial terhadap kelompok minoritas di Inggris Raya tahun 2020-2021. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan konsep gerakan sosial transnasional sebaga pisau analisis dalam membeda isu permalahan. Pendekatan metodelogis yang akan digunakan adalah metode kualitatif – deskriptif jenis studi kasus karena dianggap mampu mendeskripsikan secara terperinci sealigus terstruktur. Dari penelitian ini menemuka bahwa walaupun IngrisRaya telah menean tindakan rasime dengan Euality Act tetapi rasime tetap terjadi dalam kehidupan masyarakat minoritas khususnya kulit hitam. Kondisis pandemi mampu menguatkan fenomena rasisme di Inggris Raya. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan peranan serta kontribusi dari gerakan transnasional Black Lives Matter sebagai promotor kesetaraan rasial di inggris Raya. Kontribusi melalui membantu narasi-narasi rasisme di level lokal agar mampu naik ke level internasional, sekaligus memberi tekanan pada para pembuat kebijakan melaui kampanye di media sosial serta demonstrasi guna meraih tujuan yaitu penghapusan rasisme demi kesetaraan rasial.
